《From Max to Zero to God》Chapter 66 - Three Monster Empires

It took a total of 5 days for the war against the vampires to end. After the death of the Vampiric Ancestor, Han Ling, Sojobo and Fearcrow cleared the army of ghouls and Vampires in no time.
Narukami brought the alliance deep into the heart of the Vampire Capital, Lithia, from there it took 3 days to break down the defences, and the vampires issued a surrender.
News of the Humans defeating the vampires spread all around the monster realm. The Kaisaris dynasty offered their congratulations, as well as the Holy Empire.
It was perfect timing to say the least.
For the Goblin King, Beast King and Lich King have announced a final battle, only one will be standing. The time of the battle would be in 3 days, the perfect amount of time for Han Ling to prepare. The location? The Plains of History.
Currently, the Thunder Sword Alliance were in a meeting.
“My goal is simple…” Han Ling spoke with his fingers laced together, “To eliminate any threats that the Alliance may face. I have a plan to complete that in a single swoop.”
“How do you plan to do that?” Sojobo spoke with a deep rumble.
“This will require the entirety of the Tengu clan, Master Sojobo…” Han Ling handed a slip of paper to everyone in the room. “To ensure not everything of the plan can be exposed.”
Everyone had frowns but they read the paper anyway.
“This is a terrible idea…” Sojobo didn’t even hesitate, his face grim and doubtful. “This is extremely risky, even for you Blood Mask.”
“I’ll be fine.” Han Ling just smiled, looking like he knows exactly what he’s doing.
Sojobo sighed, “Very well.”
“Everyone got their parts? Good, it will begin the moment the battle starts; we have to strike before they notice us.”

Three days passed in an instant, Storm Haven was bustling as always, but a strange uneasiness permeated the air. It was like the tension before the cannon explodes, it was tense and uncomfortable, even the low levelled players felt it.
Even then, people ignored it.

Han Ling stood in the middle of a crowd, blending in with the walking people. He took a right into a little alley, and a flash of purple light, he disappeared.
A few blocks away, Han Ling sighed, looking back at nothing. “It seems they have gotten an idea of the plan…” The reason he blinked was simple, someone was following him.
“Looks like my guess was correct, there is a mole, but it won’t matter in the end.” Han Ling smirked, pushing a wooden door, feeling the familiar heat of the smithery.
“Hmm? Oh you’re here boy…” Master Kurudan muttered, his eyes were terribly baggy, his eyes were bloodshot, his movements rigid and trembling. Han Ling shook his head, he knew those symptoms all too well. “I’m guessing you didn’t have a wink of sleep since I left?” Kurudan only nodded, his head looked like it would snap off at any moment.
Han Ling sighed, pulling out a blue bottle of stamina, the one Han Ling would use for long periods of monster farming. He shoved it in Kurudan’s mouth, the blacksmith too tired to even fight back. In no time at all, those heavy bags disappeared, his eyes reverted back to normal and his movements were lively.
“Whoo! That is magic alright!” Kurudan beamed at the young man, eyes glimmering with thanks. “Right! I left your weapon in the back, its aura was sickening for the customers, so I had to move it to the back.”
Kurudan disappeared behind his heavy metal door, and came back with a long object draped in a thick cloth. Han Ling’s eyes widened, the aura emitted under the curtain was definitely sickening for anyone else, but it was interesting for Han Ling. That aura brought his hopes up tremendously.
The old man noticed the look of excitement on the young man’s face and grinned, pulling the cloth off in a single fluid motion.
Silence.
That was the first word that appeared into Han Ling’s mind. A beautiful black sheath, smooth as marble, coloured black to fit the gold ring around the handle. Han Ling gripped the handle, the grip crisscrossed with a standard rope, to increase the grip strength.

Han Ling pulled it out slightly, and marvelled at the crafting. It was the same cold black blade as before, but a small tint of purple ran along the sharp edgy, pulsing like a beating heart. He pulled the entire sword out, in awe at the complete silence, the sword made no sound at all. It was the same 80 cm length, slightly curved. Han Ling felt an intense amount of mana pooling in the blade, it was a magnificent blade.

Han Ling held his breath, it was a sword incomparable to the True Blood Sword. A sword that levelled up skills? And what’s with Tranquill Silence? Han Ling already had many final strike skills, but this far outstrips the others. It’s definitely a cheat weapon…
He put the sword back into its sheath, making no sound at all.
“Thank you, Master Kurudan.”
“Hehehe, it’s no longer ‘Master’ anymore.” Han Ling smiled, “So, you have reached it?” Kurudan let out a great boom of a laugh, “I’m probably the first grandmaster blacksmith in the world, HAHAHA!”
