《From Max to Zero to God》Chapter 64 - Vampiric Lord Faine

“Blood Lord Art: Vampiric Asura.”
Blood coated her arms, her sword and her hair, red mana emitted from her entire body. Han Ling could sense the power welling up inside her, threatening to explode at any time.
“Vampiric Asura: First Blood Strike.” Faine slashed, a great beam of red flying straight at Han Ling. The winged human blinked into the sky, spinning once before launching his own arc of sword energy. “Void Sword Style: Abyssal Surge!” The sword beam hit Faine, but she ably slashed it apart, red eyes locked onto the flying human.
Bat like wings sprouted from her back and she rushed up at supersonic speed. Han Ling just barely managed to parry the sword aiming straight at his face, sparks gliding off their blades.
Faine spun, sword scything down. Han Ling flapped his wings, a gust of lightning slamming into the vampire, her sword bouncing off Han Ling’s wing. “What!?” Han Ling grinned, flying back, orbs of purple zooming towards the vampire, exploding on her skin.
A cloud of smoke surrounded Faine, she slashed through the smoke and glared at the human in the distance, but then her eyes widened, again and again. Her head turning up and up.
A drake.
RAWHHHHH!!!
“Kapul, support me.”
“Understood, master.”
Faine stared at the drake with a little fear, sensing the strange energy coursing through its veins, similar to that of the winged human. Kapul opened his maw, purple light emitting from its throat.
Faine widened her eyes, dodging to the side, just in time as a beam of purple flames fired out the drake’s mouth. She turned to look at the damage, realizing that one breath reduced the ground to a smoking crater, and she unconsciously gulped.
[Void Sword Style: 3rd form. Silent Scream]

SHING!
“Gah!” Faine yelped, a deep gash on her shoulder, glaring angrily at the winged human.
“You dare!”
But then human disappeared, and a pillar of purple flames consumed her.
Kapul roared, the breath enlarging to double its size, completely engulfing the vampiric lord.
“Heh, I guess the vampiric lord isn’t as tough as I thought.” Han Ling said, a smile on his face.
Then he paused, “Or not.”
A powerful red bubble appeared, stopping the purple pillar with a burst of energy. Kapul halted his attack, glaring with wariness in his eyes. “She is tougher than I expected, my lord.”

Sure enough, the vampiric lord Faine floated in the air, her body bloody and charred but red strings of mana coiled around her body, covering her in ethereal armour. “I’ll kill you!”
A sonic clap sounded and Han Ling just barely managed to lean back, feeling the blade slice past his eye. Ocean Pearl blurred, deflecting the oncoming sword. Vampiric Origin Sword flashed, a long line appeared on the Vampire Lord’s chest, but she ignored it, sword biting into Han Ling’s arm.
Han Ling winced, spinning into another attack. “Wave Surge!” A water slash slammed onto Faine’s blade, causing her to falter. Han Ling took the chance, “Six Blood Forms: 6th form. Red Fury.” Blood particles oozed from the young man’s body, eyes turning red as his abilities skyrocketed.
“Six Blood Forms: 2nd Form. Blood Mist.”
Dozens of slashes burst out, slicing into the pale skin of the vampire. Faine screamed, feeling her health ebbing away. She growled, thrusting her sword.
“Blood Lord Art: Heart Piercing Sword!”
“Void Sword Style: 4th form: Threading Slash!”
CLANG!
[BLOCKED!]
Both sword collided, bouncing away with the force of the attacks. Faine glared at the human in annoyance, then her expression contorted to shock.
Both of Han Ling’s swords were now wreathed in purple flames and lightning.
[Void Spark Aura – Dual Blade]
Purple veins protruded from his skin, a mask of enduring pain on his face.
He glared at the vampire, and swung both swords.
[Void Spark Sword: 3rd Spark. Ignition Wheel – Dual Blade]
Both swords slashed down, two circles of sword beams flashed, slicing a shoulder of the Vampire Lord.
Faine screamed, her health lowering to a dangerous point.
“I didn’t just spend the last few days doing nothing…”
Han Ling had been training hard, honing his Void Spark Aura and the Void Spark Sword.
But that wasn’t all he practiced in…
“Vampiric Origin Sword…”
Dozens of red sabres popped up, stabbing straight into the body of the Vampiric Lord, protruding out like the spikes of a porcupine.
“Blood flash.”
The sabres glowed bright red, Faine’s last expression, was that of shock, fear and sadness all mixed into one.
“Goodbye, Vampiric Lord Faine.”
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
[You have slain Vampiric Lord Faine.]
[Level up!]
[You have obtained: Vampiric Ancestor Sword]
“Fuse.”
Han Ling didn’t spare another moment, the Vampiric Origin Sword burst into the light particles and fused with the Vampiric Ancestor Sword.

“Qi? The blood sword actually came from the cultivation realm?” Sure enough, he could feel the familiar flow of Qi coursing through his body. “This is unexpected…”
Han Ling took a deep breath, “Now, its time to deal with the main boss.”
He turned to the storm in the distance.
Sojobo wreathed in a cocoon of wind, his fan gently fanning the air, dozens of sharp air slashes zooming towards Lylith. Lylith held a hand and the air currents dissipated in an instant, replaced with a cloud of blood, the blood lurching forward like a crashing wave.
The sky turned dark, a black light flashed, and the cloud of blood slashed in half, the Fearcrow descended from the sky, a black scythe in its straw hand, a smile reaching all the way to both ears on his face.
A black storm of crows loomed over Lylith, her face scrunched in annoyance. “Blood Art: Snap.” Red tendrils of mana flowed to her finger, and she snapped her fingers, a pulse of blood mana slamming into the storm of crows, disintegrating them in an instant.
She snorted coldly, but felt a chill behind her, whipping around, a blood red whip forming in her hand.
The whip snapped, and bounced off a red blade. Lylith widened her eyes, “The True Blood Sword?” dozens of blood sabres formed around Han Ling, zooming forward like swords with a mind of their own. Lylith twisted, narrowly dodging the barrage of swords. She snapped her fingers and the sounded bounced back, only to come zooming towards her in just a few seconds.
“So annoying!” Lylith flew straight to Han Ling whip flashing in the air. The sabres came back to Han Ling, transforming into a shield. The whip slammed against the shield and Lylith coughed out a glob of blood, her eyes a cold fury.
“You dare!”
“Hurricane: Twisting Gale.”
A gust of grey wind slammed into the vampire, the sharp winds cutting against her skin.
“Fear: Night Flash.”
A black line slashed across the vampire’s back, blood spraying into the air.
Lylith howled, her face contorted in rage and pain.
“You lowly mortals! I’ll show you the power of a demigod!”
She threw her head back, an inhuman scream bellowing from her throat, the shockwave was so strong even Sojobo was pushed back. “Blood Mask! You better do it now!”
Han Ling nodded, his wings glowing purple, flapping down with a thunder clap.
ZOOM!
Han Ling turned into a streak of light, immediately closing in on the vampire. He grabbed her arm and blinked…
