《From Max to Zero to God》Chapter 63 - Vampiric War

“Are the forces ready?” A cold voice sounded from the dark throne, the outline of a woman sitting on the blood red throne.
“My lord, it is ready.”
“Then kill those humans and bring their bodies for me to drink!”
The dark castle of vampires shuddered as the might of a million vampires marched to war…

Narukami sat at the front, his face grim.
“So, they’re coming.” Around him were the Thunder Sword Alliance, Sojobo’s face was impassive, along with Master Komainu and Kashikoi. The guild leaders representing the countries had grim faces.
“Can we win? The Vampire Ancestor herself is coming and she has a power above Master Sojobo, right?” Kim Gyu Ri, the guild leader of Quaking Dragon.
“It is true that I alone am unable to defeat Lylith, but with Kyofu No Kakashi’s help, we may be able to hold her long enough for help to arrive.”
“Help? From who?” Kim Gyu Ri frowned.
“Me.”
A young man stepped into the room, a black coat that oozed ominous power, and a face that everyone knew. “Han Ling…” Narukami smiled, “Tell them your plan Han Ling.”
Han Ling stood at the front, “The only opponents we have to worry about is the Vampire Ancestor and the Vampire Lord, the remaining dukes and counts are strong but not impossible with numbers.”
“I’ll take on the Vampiric Lord, as for the Vampiric Ancestor…”
Han Ling grinned.
“Sojobo and Fearcrow can handle her long enough for me to prepare, once I finish the Vampiric Lord, I’ll send her here.” Han Ling pointed and Sojobo frowned, “Are you certain?”
“It’ll weaken her abilities and strengthen mine, we’ll have a much higher chance.”
Sojobo stroked his beard, “Very well, we shall go with your plan. Get ready for battle!”

Aiko breathed in deeply, across her was a sea of bloodthirsty monsters, behind her were humans, elves, kitsune and komainu. The Tengu floated in the air, the five hundred of them omitting a pressure that did not lose out to the hundreds of thousands of soldiers.
But it was clear, the humans were outnumbered 4 to 1. It would be a difficult fight…
Han Ling stood next to Aiko, his eyes locking on a vampire sitting on a throne, raven black hair that flowed down, red eyes that seemed to feel ancient, a perfect pale face and a seductive smile. “Lylith.”

And next to the Ancestor was a woman that exuded an intense cold aura. “Faine, the Vampiric Lord.”
Faine screamed into the air, and the sea of ghouls and vampires lurched forward. At the same time, the sky darkened, Han Ling’s black wings sprouted and he soared into the sky, raising both a white and blue sword.
Pat… pat…
Soft raindrops fell on Han Ling’s head, a big grin on his face, “What luck.”
He moved.
He soared down, spinning in the air before slicing a few unfortunate ghouls to the ground. Han Ling slammed the blade into the ground, his voice roaring, “Ocean Declaration!”
The area around him turned blue, water droplets floated in the air, suddenly flying towards Han Ling, entering his body. Han Ling could feel the power coursing through his body, the power of Hydro, Blood and Void all resting inside him.
“Now let’s give them a taste of Hydro.”
Han Ling raised Ocean Pearl, “Torrential Twister.”
The blue crystal on the handle glowed, a sudden tornado of water formed around the blade, gushing out at the speed of a bullet, the tornado grew, larger and larger.
Not a single vampire could survive an attack like that. The Thunder Sword Alliance leaders openly gaped, Aiko slapped his forehead and Narukami laughed heartily, Sojobo himself chuckled in the air.
In one move, Han Ling has slain over a hundred enemies, and the deaths are still racking up.
An enormous pillar of water washed the vampires away, their body parts spraying the air. Faine glared at him, her eyes furiously cold. The tornado vanished and Han Ling raised the Vampiric Origin Sword. “Eat up.”
With such an abundance of blood on the battlefield, it was a feast for the sword.
SLURPPP!
Like a vacuum sucking up water, all the blood entered the red crystal, the sword itself was laughing like made in Han Ling’s head.
Faine had a look of shock on his normally expressionless face, before it contorted into a cold fury. Lylith on the other hand only raised an eyebrow, smiling like she had seen a puppy with a new toy.
Once the blood disappeared, Han Ling pointed the blade to the army of vampires around him. “Kill them.” Dozens of blood red sabres appeared in the air, hovering close to Han Ling, then then burst forward at super sonic speed, piercing through a line of unsuspecting ghouls, before slicing the air, beheading another 3 vampires.

The blood sabres acted like his soldiers, having 80% of his attack damage, enemies below the Baron rank would perish to a blade. At that time, Faine couldn’t take it any longer, bursting into a strike of light that flew straight towards Han Ling. “Cell Counter,” the sabres zoomed towards Han Ling, forming a blood red shield in front of him.
Faine slammed into the shield, causing Han Ling to take a few steps back, but a grin still plastered on his face. Faine leaped back with a scream, her hand bloody and broken. Cell counter reflected most of Faine’s attack, with her fury, she hit Han Ling at full force, hence why she’s damaged to this extent.
“You! You bastard! You dare kill my son!” Faine’s hair turned red, her eyes glowing ruby red. Han Ling resummoned his sabres, all poised for battle.
Silence.
A sword appeared in Faine’s hand, a sword not any different from the Vampiric Origin sword. “So, it was in your hand…”
Han Ling raised Vampiric Origin Sword, Ocean Pearl Blade in his other hand, the power of rain resonating with the sword.
“Come!”
Swords clashed.
That was the start of the war between Vampires and the Alliance.
Vampires screeched, ghouls and giant blood sucking beasts charged. The priests chanted, Kinuko at the head, her eyes closed and holy power permeated around the air. Kinuko opened her eyes, pressing her hand down, “Holy Smite!”
A colossal golden blade slammed into the ground, slicing a giant blood monster in half. Gentle Sun raised her staff, slamming the butt onto the ground.
“Sun domain: Heliacal Land!”
A circle of light washed over the shoulders, the warmth of the sun coursing through their bodies. “For the Thunder Alliance!”
“For the Alliance!”
“Attack!!”
“Charge!!”
Soldiers roared at the top of their lungs, slamming into the horde of monsters, bodies flying in the air, magic sailing through the air, blasting the ground into pocks of craters.
“Kill the humans!”
“Feast on their blood!”
The Vampires charged, but a giant sword slammed down on them, swiping through the air like a sword through butter. Narukami leapt into battle, sword half drawn.
“Storm Sword: 7th movement: Thousand Winds.”
RUMBLE!
A tornado shot out the sword, similar in strength to the one Han Ling did. Narukami’s face was serious, his eyes darting across the battlefield, catching sight of one of the Vampiric counts moving towards Gentle Sun. Blue arcs of lightning flashed around his legs and he became a streak of light, flying straight at the count.
Baron Cleon turned around, bringing a dagger up to his face just in time to stop a glowing blue sword from cutting through him.
TANG!
Cleon scowled, his hand numb from the sheer strength of the strike. Narukami grinned, “You opponent is me!”
Cleon growled, “Step aside human!” A second dagger appeared but Narukami twisted away, sending a blue sword beam straight towards the count. The count deflected it, rushing towards Gentle Sun.
But then he felt a terrible chill…
He turned slowly, just to see black, his body sliced into dices, a winged man with a brick red mask floating down. “This should be enough for the Ancestor to make her move…” And sure enough the Ancestor stood, glaring straight at Sojobo, her gaze annoyed but her smile showed she was excited.
“Do your best Narukami. The Tengu shall aid you.”
Sojobo floated into the air, the Fearcrow cackled darkly, gazing at the Vampire ancestor with a powerful heat past his eyes.
Narukami then heard the sound of thunder in the distance. Zenkibo has made his move…
The chieftains of the Tengu have started to move.
Zenkibo held a Yari in his hand, gripping it tightly as he aimed it to the sky. “Tengu! Ready your weapons!” Zenkibo slashed downwards, a yellow arc of lightning slashed through the ground, sending countless Vampires to the underworld.
Aiko herself ran into the fight, behind her was Atsushi and his group, along with the elites of Jiron, Aiko gripped the handle, her thumb pushing the blade out slightly.
“Torrent Draw Style: Washed Away.”
The sound of a flood boomed, dozens of hapless vampires were decimated. Atsushi leapt up, crashing down heavily, stomping a ghoul to death before pulling another towards him to act as a shield. His fists boomed in the air, breaking bones and bursting heads.
All over the battlefield, there was death and blood.
