《From Max to Zero to God》Chapter 30 - Advanced Experience Bottle

Han Ling shivered slightly, the dense fury of the lightning empress caused him to gulp. Narukami used to tell me how scary his wife is… how did he even court this monster… Han Ling couldn’t help but inwardly mumble.
“YOU PROMISED AN ADVANCED EXPERIENCE BOTTLE? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS TO GET IT! HE DIDN’T EVEN BEAT YOU AND YOU MADE SUCH A STUPID PROMISE!” Narukami continued to kneel, shaking terribly at the fury of his wife.
Nagisa pulled on her hair before sighing helplessly, she reached out and grabbed something from the air, a glistering multi-coloured bottle appeared in Nagisa’s hand. She gave the bottle to Han Ling with a pained expression on her face, which slowly morphed into one of pure anger as she looked at the cowering man with a fury.
“Here take it. Please excuse my fury, I find it difficult to control with such a husband.”
Han Ling held it and inspected it.
Advanced Experience bottle (Super Rare)
Buffs player with +200% experience gain for 72 hours.
Han Ling nodded, satisfied with a powerful potion like this. With this I can reach level 50 in a day…
“There’s one more thing I would like to say, esteemed Lightning Empress.” Nagisa’s eyes pierced Han Ling, making him sweat slightly. “I have a sort of skill that involves divination.” “Divination?” Nagisa widened her eyes slightly, inspecting the young man in front of her even closely, but because of the mask, she couldn’t tell if the man was lying or not.
“What does your divination mention?” Nagisa spun around, surprised to see her husband standing up with his eyes locked on the mask, scrutinizing for any falseness in his words. “In a month, the First World Invasion will start, a portal will connect this world to a different realm…”
Narukami silently listened, not detecting any falsehood in his words, activating a lie seeker artifact just in case. But the truth seeker never detected any lies in his words. “What realm would connect to this world?”

Han Ling stared at Narukami straight in the face, “The Realm of Monsters.”
Both Lightning Emperor and Empress’s face darkened, they knew perfectly well how dangerous the realm of monsters is. “Are you certain of this information?” Narukami asked in a grave tone.
“I’m 80% certain of this information, esteemed Lightning Emperor.” Narukami stared at the mask and silently sized him, checking for any signs of nervousness or hesitation in his words and body expression. Except there were none… this young man was as still as stone, eyes that are deeper than the abyss.
Narukami breath out heavily, “Why should I trust the information of a young man I just met?” Han Ling was silent for a while, “Because you don’t have a choice. Its either you prepare or do nothing in the coming demise.”
Narukami widened his eyes at that response, then glanced at his wife, seeing her eyes glow blue for a second before she nodded curtly. “Very well… I will take proposal seriously and prepare for the future, but as there is a lack of evidence, I will be unable to convince the other kingdoms of the future threat.”
Han Ling only nodded, “I understand.” Narukami pondered for a while before asking Blood Mask a sudden question, “Could I ask you to prepare for this invasion?” Han Ling looked up, confusion evident in his eyes.
“What do you mean sir?”
“I would like you to join Jiron as the leader for this mission.” Han Ling blinked twice, “But you just met me sir, and I’m a stranger. Surely, there must be people better than I am?”
“You have a divination spell, you probably have more knowledge of this mission than anyone else, and you’re very strong, even in Jiron, there are only a handful of people who can last that long against my Descent form.” Narukami gave the masked teen a warm smile and raised a hand, “If you shake my hand, you will the leader of this mission and will protect Jiron along with the rest of the world.”

Han Ling glanced at the hand, looking into those blue eyes, determination, confidence and trust. He took a deep breath, this is a good start…
“Alright, I’ll join you.” Han Ling shook the Lightning Emperor’s hand, a wide smile appearing on his face as a hearty laugh boomed out of his throat. Nagisa smiled gently at the new member of the Jiron, “Congratulations.” “Thank You, esteemed Lightning Empress.” Nagisa smile widened slightly, “There’s no need for formalities, call me Nagisa as everyone in the city does.”
“Ms Nagisa then.” The latter shrugged but kept a warm smile on her face. “Forgive this lowly one for speaking first but I require a 3 day break.” Narukami raised an eyebrow, “By break I think you mean exp grinding am I right?”
Han Ling nodded. “I would need 3 days to get maximise the effects of the advanced experience bottle.”
Narukami then frowned, “I never bothered asking what level you were…” “I’m level 46.”
“…” Narukami unconsciously gulped and Nagisa paled slightly, a level 46 just fought toe to toe against a level 62 player… what kind of monster did they meet.
“Y-You were level 46? But you actually pushed me back for a while!” Han Ling scratched the back of his head, feigning embarrassment, “I got lucky.” Narukami almost wanted to spit the word bullshit but held it in and formed a pained smile, “I’ll give you three days, I’ll organise a party for you to lead, until then… Do you have a place to hunt?”
“I have a place in mind, sir.”
“Oh? And where’s that?” “The Jagged Peaks.” Narukami immediately frowned and inwardly mused, “There aren’t many monsters there, but there are a couple of high levelled ones…” Opposite to what Narukami believes, Jagged Peaks was home to a nest of monsters, with thousands of more beasts than anywhere else on Earth.
It was one of the reasons for Jiron’s defeat in the first world invasion, with monsters coming from the portal and monsters ambushing from the mountains. The portal between the Realm of Monsters and Earth opened nearby the forest of Springtown, razing the town to the ground before destroying dozens other towns, even some of the cities nearby. Once Narukami set out with his army, the monsters of Jagged Peaks razed Stormval to the ground, killing hundreds of thousands, even injuring the Lightning Empress and her guards.
Japan at that time was also damaged, even with their top levelled combatants, they could only hold the monsters back, unable to push back until the Holy Empire, Isbel Elves and the Shavai Dynasty came to the aid.
But now… Han Ling knew the location of the monster nest, destroying them would be killing two birds with one stone. Without the aid of monsters from the nest, the invasion of the Monster Realm would be less difficult, losing the ambush of monsters on Jagged Peak is akin to losing an arm for the army of monsters, it was a perfect experience chest for Han Ling.
Han Ling bowed to his new king and queen before setting off to the market first, Han Ling currently had a total of 2180 sovereigns, he was literally a walking bank, but even then he sold all his monster pelts to hunters, earning a decent 40 sovereigns, then moved on to the weapon smith, selling the extra equipment and weapons for a whopping 200 sovereigns. That brings his total money to 2420 sovereigns.
He was almost as rich as an average, after selling literally everything he had to spare, he moved towards the large tower in the centre of the city. There, he purchased a hundred explosive scrolls for 50 sovereigns, nearly clearing the entire stock, but Han Ling didn’t care.
With scrolls for preparation and buying a couple of rations as well as a couple of potions, he travelled to Jagged Peaks…
