Narukami floated done, frowning slightly at the sight of blood in front of Han Ling. He turned into a bolt of lightning, appearing right in front of Han Ling and passing a green bottle to him.
Han Ling glanced at the lighting emperor, bowing slightly with rigid movements and removed the mask slightly to gulp its contents.
[You have been buffed with Regeneration. Healing 2% of health per second.]
[You have been buffed with healing. Heal 500 points of health.]
“Thank you.” Han Ling gasped out a sigh of relieve, feeling his muscles again. Narukami beamed at the young man, “I never thought you would be so young yet so strong.” The lighting emperor caught sight of Han Ling’s chin and with his superb deduction, he predicted that Han Ling was only a 16 year old teen.
“You flatter me, sir.” Han Ling gave another bow before his gaze sharpened at his next words. “Esteemed Lighting Emperor, I would like to tell you something.” Narukami widened his eyes slightly before throwing his head back with a loud laugh, “That was a wonderful fight young man! You have asked for an advanced experience bottle, but it’s in my house. Please follow me to obtain your reward.” He swiftly spun on his heels and walked in a direction with a skip in his steps.
He’s the same as always… Han Ling mused inwardly, following the king of Jiron with a slight stagger. Nagisa frowned at the sight of her husband’s carefree nature, but sighed helplessly when she sees that smile. She came up to her husband, hands on her hips, mouth twisted in an angry frown as she held her ground against the emperor.
Narukami noticed this and laughed awkwardly, cold sweat running down his neck. “O-Oh hey Nagisa! I-I-I uhm didn’t see you there!” Nagisa stomped up to her husband, grabbing his ear before dragging him all the way back to their house. The crowd laughed at the sight, with some people shaking their head with a helpless smile on their face.

Haha, those two are still the same… Han Ling mused inwardly, subconsciously smiling under the mask. Han Ling followed the pair down a clean cobblestone path, and at the end was a large mansion.
In other kingdoms, kings would normally stay in grand palaces, but Narukami thinks differently. He’s someone who believes grandeur to be a waste of money, he just wants things to be simple. Hence, he lives in a wooden mansion, decorated moderated with weapons, armour, flowers and pottery. A simple house.
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry, Honey! I won’t do it again! I promise! Ouch!” Narukami was thrown into the house by the ear, tenderly stroking his red ear. Nagisa snorted coldly, “That better be the last time you destroy our gate! Just two weeks ago, you nearly destroyed the church!” With his mistake brought up, Narukami winced and kept his head down, not daring to move a single muscle.
Nagisa sighed before turning her sharp gaze to the masked teen by the door. Han Ling flinched slightly at that gaze, damn she actually scared me with a gaze, Narukami was right, women are terrifying…
“What did this idiot promise you?” Narukami raised his head to answer but Nagisa flashed a terrifying glare at the man. The ‘Lighting Emperor’ shut his mouth and pressed his forehead on the ground, trembling in fear. Han Ling unconsciously swallowed, “Narukami promised me an advanced experience bottle…”
Nagisa’s expression darkened, and her eyes glowed blue as she stared at her trembling husband. “YOU PROMISED WHAT!” And her voice boomed louder than thunder…

In the land of Isbel, a golden flash emerged on the balcony of the palace. A beautiful, blonde haired elf stepped onto the ground, a gentle smile on her face.
An elf maid approached the elf and draped a golden robe over her shoulders, and bowed deeply as she presented her with a silver crown, a blue crystal embedded right at the centre. The blonde elf smiled gently at the maid and fitted her crown onto her head.

She graciously approached a silver door and pushed it open.
Behind the door was a crowd of elves surrounding a long circular table, all in a heated discussion. “Humans can not be trusted! They have repeatedly violated our rules! Bandits take our girls away and sell them as slaves! We must shut them out before they ruin us!” A middle-aged burly elf roared at the top of his voice, slamming his hands on the table.
A white-haired elf rumbled in a low tone, but just as menacing as a shout. “There is no need to shut the forest down! Have you forgotten the help the Lighting Emperor gave us when we were invaded by Burning Rule? Have you forgotten the kindness he showed?”
The burly elf hesitated for a second, but anger swelled his eyes and he was about to speak when the king sitting at the head boomed, “SILENCE!”
Silence squashed the voices, and both sides bowed their heads, stepping back a step before noticing the arrival of the blonde elf. The king breathed out through his nose, “My daughter Alyndra, please enlighten us of the meeting between worlds.”
Alyndra the elf princess nodded to her father before gazing at every eye that looks at her, fear, admiration, lust, distain, mockery. This was the top board of elves, like all top boards of any nation, it’s a mess.
“Thank you for your attention.” She bowed slightly, those emerald eyes locking on every face in the room. “As most of you would know, I attended the Meeting of Worlds as a representative of the Elves of Isbel. The meeting consists of three parts, the introduction of nations and countries, the rules each country must follow for the sake of peace, and trading and communication of both sides.”
Alyndra proceeds to take out a smart phone which warrants the hiss of the anti-human group. “Your highness! That thing is dangerous! Anything created by humans are dangerous!” The princess ignored them and clicked a few times on the phone as she explained, “This is a ‘phone’, as the humans call it. It allows me to contact anyone as long as they have a phone and if I have their ‘phone number’. Hence if I click this button…”
The screen lit up and a red call sign at the bottom, a voice sounded from the other side. “Hello, this is Humble Sage guild leader Qian Xun speaking, how can I help you Princess Alyndra?” The elves around the table were deathly silent, the anti-humans faction paling at the sound of a human.
Alyndra carefully observed their expressions, holding a sigh of disappointment back. She spoke to the phone with a cheerful tone, “Hello Mr Qian Xun, I called to discuss the trade between the nation of China and the forest of Isbel.”
“Of course, what do you wish to discuss?”
And the conversation went on…

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
