Han Ling lurched forward, and stabbed the sword straight through the chest of one wolfman, watching as the blood entered the ruby. Like a dancer, he easily pulled his sword out, slicing the necks of two other wolf soldiers.
[You have slain LVL 5 Wolf Soldier] x 3
A big red 3 appeared on top of the swordsman, blood swirled around him before a torrent of mana exploded upwards.
[Three Feared stacks…]
The rest of the soldiers panicked, freezing up with their eyes wide with fear. Han Ling calmly raised his blade, and the blood was sucked into the ruby. Rose red mana coated the blade and Han Ling slashed horizontally, exploding the mana into a slash, finishing the group of soldiers.

Without even pausing to check his stats, he burst forward, breaking past the guard of two wolf soldiers before landing in the centre of the group. With a twirl a whirlwind of wind blades slashed the hapless wolf soldiers. He was like a mini human hurricane, furiously slashing anything in his path.
The humans behind him were shocked beyond comprehension, their brains turned to mush at the sight of such an expert. The one who snorted at Han Ling paled as he realized his mistake. Atsushi shook his head, showing a bitter smile. “The gap is wide…”
But the flurry of swords stopped, and a powerful blow erupted from the swordman as he was pushed back.
Han Ling frowned, feeling his sword hand numb from the attack. He looked up to see the chieftain himself facing the swordsman. And the level above his head was…
LVL 12…
Han Ling frowned, He’s a lot harder than I expected…
The chieftain held a sword as large as himself, a great white blade and a simple handle. The chieftain grinned a beastly grin to the human. Han Ling raised his sword, and summoned an apprentice’s sword in his other hand.
But before he could move the four LVL 9 guards surrounded the human, swords and shields raised. As he looked for an opening, a sudden arrow embedded into the eye of one of the guards and he howled in pain. Han Ling glanced back to see the group of humans charging forward, with Karin nocking a second arrow. Han Ling took the chance.
I’ll kill the guards first.
Han Ling stabbed his sword into the chest of the howling wolf guard, killing him instantly before spinning around to block the attack of a second guard. Han Ling faced off the three guards, slashing at their shields like a hurricane.

With his numerous buffs, it didn’t take long for Han Ling to break past the trio, shattering the shields and decapitating them faster than culling chickens. He saw his experience soar and he flew straight towards the chieftain, he threw his apprentice’s sword, sailing forward like an arrow.
The chieftain slapped the sword aside, but couldn’t react in time for the human to already be standing right before him.
[LVL 3 Slash]

The chieftain howled, furiously swinging his giant sword towards the swordsman. Han Ling equipped his second Apprentice’s sword and raised it against the giant sword.
CLANG! SNAP!
The sword immediately broke in half at the impact, the durability disappearing to zero. And even then Han Ling was thrown into the air, grunting as his health dropped slightly. But it didn’t end there, the chieftain pulled his great sword back, before swinging it again. Han Ling ducked, feeling the great force blowing past.
“Die!”
Han Ling stabbed the Baron’s Blade into the gut of the chieftain, watching his hp plumet. But the Chieftain swung his great sword again with an extreme speed, slapping Han Ling into the trunk of a giant tree, snapping it in half before falling down with a ground shaking thud.
Han Ling coughed up a mouthful of blood, gritting his teeth as he had less than half of his hp. Even then, the chieftain charged forward, not letting his enemy rest even for a second. Han Ling coughed up a second mouthful of blood before holding his blade with both hands.
He ducked, and slashed, feeling his life steal heal a small portion of his health. This is exactly why the Bloody Baron’s Blade is perfect for Han Ling, with his immense attack speed, he could heal himself without the need of a healer.
He sidestepped the second strike and thrust his sword forward, stabbing his blade into the shoulder of the chieftain, causing him to howl in anger. But the chieftain still had half his hp, and the humans were slowly being pushed back, even with Atsushi fighting his hardest, there were just too many wolf soldiers.
Han Ling gritted his teeth, activating sword aura as well as blood dance again, buffing himself temporarily. With every strike the Wolf Chieftain made, Han Ling countered twice, slashing and thrusting at every opening. There was once or twice when Han Ling was hit, but his life steal barely kept him alive.
And then…
[You have slain the Wolf Chieftain.]

[Expand/ Collapse]
With the fall of the chieftain the wolf soldiers all panicked, throwing down their swords and scattering in all directions.
“Hoo…Hoo…Hoo…Guh!” Han Ling coughed out another mouthful of blood, seeing his hp fall to the red zone before stopping at only 50 hp, even a LVL 3 could kill him now.
But he didn’t have to worry for long, as a warm green glow covered him like a blanket. Kinuko stood next to Han Ling, focused on healing his injuries. In not time at all he was back to half hp, she couldn’t heal him anymore as she ran out of mana and was slightly pale.
Han Ling smiled at her before bowing, “Thank You, Kinuko, I will remember this favour.” Kinuko just smiled before bowing back, it was then Han Ling realized the silence around him.
One of the guys from Kanna’s group lay sprawled on the ground, still and cold. Kanna stared at the corpse, eyes quivering, but no tears could fall. Atsushi placed his hand on his sister’s shoulder, head down and eyes closed.
Han Ling gazed at the mourning, sighing softly. The world is still young… The dead will be mourned…
He slowly stepped towards the portal, his normally light and stealthy footsteps, heavy and sinking. Its good to have friends that would cry for you…
Han Ling entered the portal and left without a sound…

8 179There's a Hero in the Kingdom
When the world has heroes that occasionally appear from another world, what impact do these heroes have? How do the people already present react? There's a Hero in the Kingdom follows the prince of the Kingdom of Sengar and his closest allies as he seeks out the newest hero that has appeared within their borders. Can he convince the hero to join in his efforts? This is very much a work in progress with the intent that it might someday be a proper series. Constructive feedback is appreciated as I would like to turn this into a fully fleshed out story for that purpose. Thank you. -Fleza Release Schedule: Routine schedule suspended indefinitely. "Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hit a wall. I took a step back and realized that it wasn't in fact a wall, but instead a very attractive male. I looked up at his head to see a very messy, but sexy, mop of black hair on top of his head. When I looked closer, I noticed that his hair was a very deep brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled downward to his eyes, where I found two deep, ocean blue eyes looking back at me. My gaze travelled farther down to his crooked nose, to which I assumed came from too many fights. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips, which were turned into a sneer. "You have got to be kidding me!" His pink lips said in a very offensive voice. My eyes turned questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. "Whatever, lets finish this. I, Ashton Carter, reject you, as my mate." He, or Ashton, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? On my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school, rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people at this school. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.
