Thought of a whole new story, new plot and so on..... and I already wrote the first chapter...... just notice that it was reallg fast...... lol.

Eitherway tell me what you think

Chapter one: Blood

Shots fell and echoed through the empty and dark streets. Men fell over death, their heads pierced by the bullet of a riffle or a gun. Cries of agony and pain were constantly emerging from every corner reaching the ears of these that were unfortunate enough to live in this area and hid inside of the houses afraid to get hid by a stray bullet if they went out right now.

They were long since used to this kind of fight within their district that reemerged almost every month and seemed to never find an end.

One fraction attacked another taking over the territory for a month before ending the same way like the guys they took it from before. A unending circle of new 'rulers' that tried to get a footing in this chaotic world and finally failed and found the only possible end for them. Death.

This were the rules of the world as it was now. This was how it changed after the events that started five year back.

At January the fourth in 2015 they had suddenly appeared on the planet human kind had always claimed his own. The 'Others' as they were called. Multiple intelligent races and human civilisations that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere , each of them will multiple tens of million individuals within them.

Human kind who had always been the only intelligent being on earth and never faced any other kind that could rival them had now suddenly gotten a couple of new 'neighbors'.

Of course there were hopes to get over this whole thing without shedding blood. Languages were researched, barriers of communication were destroyed and compromises were made, but while some of this newcomer races agreed to peace and decided to integrate into the existing society of humans, others didn't agree and demanded their own territories, leading to war and the fall of multiple small nations.

The other big nations naturally felt threatened by the blood thirsty aggressors that were not afraid of killing multiple million of humans and banded together creating an alliance to suppress the races that chose war and recover the lost territories.

Unlike you might believe, they actually managed to push them back as even though the races possesed their own racial properties that made them stronger then regular humans, like form changing and things like magic, Humanity had an overwhelming higher cultural and technological development.

Even the highest grade magics employed by Elves the race with the most powerful magic could not fight back against the coupled might of multiple nations nuclear missiles. In the end the enemy races were pushed back and a big part of the territory was recovered.

Also humanity had another card that ensured their advantage. Cultivation.

Something that had been lost for thousands of years had resurfaced at the time it was in greatest needs. The art of training ones body throught martial arts. And this was not normal training. Cultivation with martial arts didn't make you a bit stronger and look like some body builder.

No only was it able to let you live a bit longer, it also could make you many time stronger then normal and lift a human to the physical level of the other races.

But even though humanity had all this advantages and even recovered a big part of the lost land, there were still big losses even amongst their armies and this losses lead to a broken balance in between the nations that had aligned to each other's.

Soon some nations like Russia and England that had been at the very front of the fights and had the biggest losses, became weaker then their counterparts USA, the European Union and Russia. The nations that had considerable low losses and still possesed bountiful resources started to absorb the countries the countries with used up recourses and the alliance broke with war unfolding within the humans themselves.

Resulting in this multiple weaker nations also fell to the 'Others', while the stronger nations were now fighting with both themselves and the 'Others'.

In the end the whole thing stabilized into a frail stalemate between humans and the other races. Humanity was fighting within themselves, but so did the other races and humanities advantage in weaponry and other necessary resources for waging war made it possible for them to stand their ground even thought they were not united.

But there was one thing that had changed enormously even within the humans nations borders. Because of the constant fights and death at the borders between the human nations and the 'Others' territories, most trained men now were posted at the fronts leaving only few men inside the country to keep the laws.

This led to certain areas in that law had completely been lost and that couldn't really be considered to be under the nations control. Areas like the city from before.

This parts of the country were the places were men tried to find a standing in the world, tried to be more then a mere citizen without anything to say in society. They fought in order to get influence, to get money, or just because they were crazy battle junkies.

It were places were men could rise and fall…

and the majority falls.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three more shots fell.

Two of them caused a middle aged man to get a hole right through his brain while the third lead to a huge mess of blood that flowed out of the shot open abdomen of another young man.

After this it was quite.

The whole districts streets were now filled with blood, gore and corpses filled with cold steel and the only men that were still standing and alive in this streets were the ones that caused the others death.

One of the men, a pretty young guy bowed down and looked down onto one of the corpses, belonging to the former boss of the fraction they had just completely eliminated. His eyes traveling over the death body the young man seemed to be lost in thoughts, pondering about something.

Just at this time another man, similar in age to the first one stepped closer.

"Sir, the enemy is completely eliminated, the district is ours. What are your orders?"

The young man looked up from the corpse.

"Hmm…."

He sighed.

"What are the losses?"

The other one respectfully replied.

"We lost three men, while we eradicated the entire enemy's forces numbering over one hundred man. Other then the three causalities there are also ten others that are injured pretty badly and won't be able to fight for at least two moths."

The young man kept quite for a while. Then he simply nodded and dismissed the other.

Standing up he looked around him, looking at each of the corpses around him. A deepness had appeared in his eyes that was strangely charismatic and made one lose himself in his brown eyes. Then without another word he left and walked into a certain direction.

Where ever he came across, men greeted him respectful calling him Sir and making small reports. Everyone, even the most savage looking men amongst them was exceedingly respectful to this young man to the point were even fanaticism was visible within their eyes.

After some ten minutes of time the young man had finally reached a small backstreet and halted. His eyes were looking straight forward without any wavering within his eyes and the calmness that surrounded him would cause anyone to be shocked that saw what he was seeing.

Right before his eyes the small street went into a death end with a few trashcans positioned within it. And next to this trashcans were more then twenty corpses, their heads pierced by a single bullet or their abdomens sliced open in a big cut that was making their guts visible.

Blood was covering the whole ground and some pieces organs were splashed on the sides as a single person calmly came into his direction.

He wore a long black parka and underneath a pure white shirt. His black hair were perfectly fitting with his blue eyes and in one hand was a single blade while in the other was a simple gun. Blood dripped down from both as he calmly stepped through the blood on the ground.

"Your ready?"

The young man calmly asked.

"Dan, do you never grow tired of asking that question?"

The other asked. The young man who was called Dan only snorted.

"Do you ever grow tired of making such a mess, Jake? Who do you think has to clean this up?"

Jake only shrugged.

"Who cares?"

"Wanna get beaten by me?"

Dan's eyes grew sharp and a shudder went down Jake's back.

"Y-YOU… no I-i know that I-i'm n-not your match."

"Just jokin."

He smirked.

"As if I,.a level one soul stage cultivator would bull some level three body cultivator. If I bully weaklings it will taint my reputation ya know?"

"Not everyone can be as insane as you… being level one soul stage at the age of 17. Even in the whole EU there are almost no guys that are better then you…. No wonder if the only thing you do all day is cultivate like some lunatic. Hrmpf. At least I have other things to do then repeating the same movements all the time!"

Cultivation. One of the big advantages humanity had against the other races. Cultivation was the art of training ones body through martial art and surpassing the boundaries of human beings. It is wide spread amongst the human nations and almost every young boy is send to a cultivation school to learn a martial art.

After all simple cultivation could not only make a person stronger, it also prolonged the live and improved health and a huge majority of people was at least cultivating as a kind of hobby.

But this could not be considered real cultivation. While cultivating humans would reach certain stages that would represent a certain degree of powers and training. First there was the body stage with it's three levels. Body stage level one was the stage most people who only occasionally cultivate in their free time were at.

They were already almost two times as powerful as a person who did not cultivate and they would be much more healthy in their later years.

Body stage level two was already rarer. Only people that had quite a bit of talent and trained more then trice a week could reach this stage. They were four times as strong as a person did not cultivate and two times as strong as a cultivator on the first level. Also they could easily live over a hundred years and live a healthy live.

Body stage level three was already a level only talented people could dream to reach. There were only about 10000 of them in the whole entirety of the EU and only about a million in the whole world. They were eight times as strong as a not cultivating person and would live over 120 years at least.

People at this level would certainly be scouted by the government and invited into the army getting good positions and a lot of money. Compared with normal citizens they were already the upper three percent.

This was the level Jake was on.

Then after the body stage came the soul stage. It was only one step from body stage level three to soul stage level one, but this difference was bigger then heaven and earth. This was because only 100 individuals in the whole EU with it's more then one billion citizens were at this level.

Cultivators at the first soul stage level were 20 times as strong as a normal person would most certainly live over 200 years and were highly sought after.

Once found by the government they would get exceedingly high positions and huge amounts of money. They were what was considered top class soldiers in the world.

Above that came the level two soul stage that was 50 times as powerful as a human and live about 300 hundred years. There were only three individuals in the world that had reached this degree yet and they represented one of the countries strongest weapons giving them a huge support.

As for level three soul stage and above, up till now there had been no one reaching that level yet. But even so, this made visible just how powerful Dan was. The individuals with power comparable to his were not exceeding the hundreds and most of this where already somewhat older.

"You haven't really told me why you haven't joined the army have you? With your talent you would easily get a lot of influence and money without having to deal with all this shit around here.

No killing of pitiful gang bosses and pseudo yakuza that think highly of themselves and piss their pants as soon a gun is pointed at them."

Jake looked to Dan. He just smiled.

"Couldn't I ask you too? Even though you are not really comparable to me, but the army should give quite some money if you join them. Why are you hanging around here working for me and making big bloody messes in order to distract from you miniscule manhood?"

"….. cause it's not the same? It's…. kind of boring isn't it? To get everything you want you because you have a bit of power. It's much more fun to take what you want for yourselves right? That's also why you are wasting yourselves here isn't it?"

Dan thought a bit.

"Haaaaa….. your wrong."

"Hm?"

Jake looked questioning.

"That's not why I'm here in this stinking back yard filled with 'big guys' that want to play king."

"Then why?"

Dan's eyes changed again. The deepness from before was there, making Jake lose himself in them.

"Cause it's no enough."

Jake was surprised.

"Eh? Not enough? You get nice chicks, money and political power! What else can you want?"

A strange smile appeared at Dan's face.

"A legality.

Something I can leave behind my children and their descendants. Something that will keep my name alive even after I have died after my 200 hundred years on this planet are over.

I want to leave my mark in history."

Jake was kind of speechless. He never knew the man he followed up to now had such ambitions. Hesitating he asked.

"And… how?"

Dan closed his eyes.

"A kingdom."

"…. WHAT?"

"Nothing is as durable as a kingdom. I will use the chaos the world is in right now and do it. Create my own kingdom and leave my mark in history!"
