OK here is today's chapter and finally the fight most of you have been waiting for. Well enjoy!
Chapter "COME!"
"So, where is Zes?"
Les suddenly asked. It was already evening in the city and they had long since relocated themselves into the interior of the palace. Now they were sitting together in a hall, drinking precious wines and enjoying various delicacies.
"I also already wondered about this. Zes had already went for you guys some weeks ago, but from your words I see that he hasn't arrived here?"
Maaran also voiced.
The group fell into silence. No one was able to understand just where Zes was right now. There was no way he would take this long to get to Bluedragon city, after all he was an existence without peers in this world and if even Maaran was able to get to the city in the time, how could he not be here yet?
Pondering about this the patriarch rubbed his chin. Then he closed his eyes. Suddenly potent energy charged out of him going through everything and everyone. This energy expanded further, outside of the inner city quickly covering the whole city. Then it expanded even further covering the land underneath it.
Pinia, Les, Zoe and Reis astonished watched as boundless amounts of this unknown energy squished out of the patriarch. They did not know what kind of energy it was, but they were able to tell that it was similar to qi and that the patriarch was using it instead of a divine sense.
Also judging by the pure quantity of energy released this patriarch in front of them was much more powerful then they!
"Found him!"
Opening his eyes the patriarch announced.
"He is about 500 kilometers from here fitting three unknown men. I'm not sure who exactly they are, but they are at least not weaker then Zes. If I had to guess I would say that the are the gods this fools of the church have been brabeling about.

"It's over, your church is destroyed."
Zes stood mid air facing the three men in front of him. Boundless energy was constantly crushing into each other between the two fractions. It was as if to opposing heavenly laws were facing each other here. Each of them not cable to letting the other existing.
Now there was no more exhaustion in the 'gods' faces. No blood was tainting their clothes and no dirt was glued to their bodies. It was as if all the fighting from before had never happened.

Of course the same also went for Zes. He too looked completely clean and fresh, nothing telling that they had been fighting for multiple weeks up till now.
It was obvious, no more playing around. Both sides would now give their all and fight to the last drop of blood. After all it wasn't only about their own lives, it was about everything they were standing for. Humans together with demons, or demons against humans.
The fate of this two races would be decided right here.
"So this fools have lost, hm?
Haaaaa-, poor guys they believed in us and finally they had to die without changing anything at all. Well it only means that we have to get serious now, doesn't it?"
The eldest, blue clothed man sighed as he looked into Zes eyes.
"Pretty cold."
"Hrmpf."
Both sides were tensed now. This wasn't the testing out from before. This time they all had to give their all, or they would onto find one end. Death.
"Stop this useless chat
and FIGHT!"
Suddenly the red man charged. Intense pressure bore down onto Zes body forcing even him to use a bit of energy to be able to keep breathing properly. In comparison, a normal deity faced with this pressure would have long since turned into a pond of gore.
But Zes only had to apply a bit of power to break through the pressure and also charge towards the other. He too started to radiate pressure pressing down onto everything around him. Both threw out their fists, just as they had done countless times before, but this time they used every once of strengh inside of their physical bodies.
Splash.
Blood was raining down onto the ground as Zes was forced back spilling out a mouthful of blood. In terms of pure physical power he was considerable weaker then the red brute that was now triumphant standing there his fist still stretched out. A overbearing spirit was shining in his eyes as he grew confident again.
Just as he was about to charge again his arm trembled. Then an arc of blood splashed out. A huge cut going all over his arm had suddenly opened making blood spray like crazy.
Of course the brute instantly healed it, something of this grade was not even close enough to treaten him, but the fact alone that he was injured in this one on one contest of pure strengh mend, that he was actually not much stronger then Zes!

Shocked he stared at the already completely fine looking Zes.
"Good punch."
The later started to mock.
"But let's see if you can take this one."
Zes body disappeared before the brute's eyes. Turning around the brute searched for any signs of him appearing, his divine sense spread out over the entire area. But even as multiple seconds had passed there was no sign of Zes anywhere.
The brute grew nervous and angry.
'He couldn't have run away, could he?'
Just as he thought this a voice reached his ear.
"Where are you looking? I'm right here."
Standing right in front of the brute, Zes whispered into the formers ear. But before the brute could even react, the area around Zes started to change. Streams of daos and different laws gathered around Zes and Stirling up the space around them. Like a huge flood they all streamed onto the two figures making them hard to see from the outside.
"Do you think I fear some puny daos?"
The red men enraged roared an struggled to get free. But even though he truly used some power to force his way, he wasn't able to get away from Zes. There were too many daos around them holding them in place.
As the man struggled and struggled, the daos quickly gathered in Zes right palm.
"Here."
A simple trust with his fist
Made the heavens roar.
All the daos he had accumulated in his palm were directly send through the brute's body, burning, freezing, growing or doing whatever while they flooded every coner of his body passing through. The space behind the red brute had long since been completely blown apart by the power hidden in this punch of Zes revealing a scarlike crack of chaos.
"Brother!"
The two other men finally also moved. When the red brute had charged, they already knew that he would only pointlessly loose the fight. But there was no stopping him, they knew his character. So they had just waited for him to get beaten a bit sense into his thickhead before also joining the fight.
Never would they have though that Zes first retaliation would already be this vicious.
Teleporting, they appeared next to their brother and while the younger, green gowned man carried the now heavily injured red man, the eldest of them, the blue gowned man attacked Zes.
But unlike the reckless and open fight that the red man had put up, the blue man was only using quick attacks to keep Zes on distance without letting him counterattack. Wielding a long black sword, he was constantly raining attacks at Zes without halting at once place for me then a moment.
Zes on the other side only defended. There were no changes for him to really attack the blue man, and even if he forcefully tried to create one. He would end up using up a lot of energy, while the probability of killing the blue gowned man would stay very low.
So rather then wasting his energy he was silently waiting for any openings the blue man could make.
While Zes was tangled up with the eldest brother, the red brute was quickly recovering. The visible wounds were closing at visible speed and while he still had a very pale face, he didn't look as bad as before. Together with his second brother he was watching their eldest brother fighting with Zes.
While fighting the eldest out of the three 'gods' Zes was actually not only fighting. In the inner areas of his mind there was motion. Information was searched through at high speed, petabytes of memories and information were compressed and analysed. Everything that had accumulated inside of Zes huge sea of memories, the memories of his master immortal Calmlight, the memories of the billions of human souls that had entered his mind at the fight with the Kun clan patriarch. His own memories made in the last 30 years of his live.
Every single pigment they were made of was analysed at high-speed, a speed that even supercomputers would not be able to have!
In this way, multiple petabyte of date analysed per second, he had spend the last few weeks searching through his entire memory.
What for?
For daos, for energies, for laws, for impressions, for lifestyles, for techniques, for anything that could help him to comprehend. To comprehend his dao of Emperor.
Slash.
With one last trust the eldest god under gain separated from Zes and took some distance. Glancing to the second brother (the red brute) Zes saw that the formers injuries had already healed to a certain extent.
"COME"
His aura bellowed to the sky forcing apart the clouds.

8 929Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)
8 193Ascension [Progressive Fantasy, GameLit Fantasy]
The end of the world was as sudden as it was unexpected. Marcus was one of billions to witness the Integration of Earth into the Endless Realms. In a world where suddenly, any random person can throw around fireballs and pick up boulders one-handedly, Marcus must do all he can to stay alive, and more importantly, thrive. Good thing the end of the world came with a User Interface.
8 284Durgen the Bardbarian
Durgen, being the smallest orc in the village, was naturally near the bottom of the totem pole. Day in and day out, he's tasked with daily monotonous "quests" that offered nothing and only got experience points from killing things outside the village. Of coarse, this wouldnt be a good story if something didnt happen while out hunting one day that changed his life forever. Developing as much skills as possible, he sets out to forge his own path. "Dis story gud!" -Some git "Read dis book!" -Warboss
8 207Artifice: Iysinfyr
Nalulthyn is the young daughter of a duke that is one day asked for a favor. This favor involves the adopted daughter of the duke from a neighboring area. This girl has had a traumatic past and has closed herself off from the world completely and reacts violently when touched by anyone but her personal maid. The duke hopes that a girl close to the age of his adoptive daughter will be what she needs to recover, but things are never as easy as they seem. First is that this adopted daughter is a Terran, a rare being from a different world that has skin and hair as white as snow and an almost alien build. Second is that there is a power to this girl, one that makes her recovery all the more dangerous to Nalulthyn and perhaps beyond. Author's note: This is a soft reboot of Artifice: Tools of the Gods. As I wrote the other story years ago I felt it would be better to do this approach as my writing has changed and improved since then. For now only two characters will return though I might reintroduce others later in the story. Even though this has the gore tag, I don't plan on being excessive with it. Most chapters shouldn't have any. The only reason I have it is to be realistic with the descriptions.
8 147A Peaceful World
A boy who couldn't obtain any peace in his life attempts to find it in a virtual reality game. Will he be able to find it or will the game turn out to be more than what he expects?
