Chapter 89 Let's eat!
-Bam-
Nia fired another lighting onto a soldier directly hitting his head and grilling his brain into charcoal. The next moment another man fell in the same manner, followed by a third. Every second at least one, if not two man were suddenly hit by the lightning, pried on by a invisible hunter.
One man after another was hitting the ground and slowly the troops at that part of the monolith started to lighten up and disperse to other locations. No one was willing to stay at a place were death was only a question of seconds. Of course the other side's of the monolith were also dangerous, but at least there was no super sniper killing them before they can even react to it.
-Bam-
One last lighting fell down onto a poor soldier that reacted to slow and hadn't left Nia's range in time. Then Nia fell back into her seat. Sweat ran down her face as she struggled to get up again. But it was no use, she had used up all her mana and even more importantly all of her bodies strength.
Two hours she had kept up her insane fire rate having a 100 percent hit change and firing at least one or two shots a minute. In fact at the beginning it had been more then three a second!
But by now she had completely used up every kind of energy stored inside of her body, helplessly lying in her chair, unable to get to work again.
From the side a woman came near. As she saw the completely drenched and out powered Nia she speed up and quickly arrived at her place surrounded by other snipers around her still sniping down the enemy.
"Nia are you alright?"
The woman asked tenderly quickly using her qi to form water and wipe down the sweat on Nia's forehead. Nia now noticing the woman suddenly felt her emotions welling up. Worries, fear, unwillingness and most importantly a strong need to do something suddenly broke out in Reis as tears began to flow down her face.
"It's to late… I can't change anything.
he will die!"
Powerless she murmured as she began to cry even stronger.

In midst of the endless storm of fireballs, lightings and hostile qi techniques, suddenly something started to move. At the very top of the monolith, suddenly a blinding blue light started to shine, becoming broader and broader.
The worked church soldiers down on the ground looked up and started firing a few long range qi techniques. But as they saw that they had no effect they had to once again focus on their own defences, as the shower of attacks did not stop at any moment.
Slowly the point of light seemed to get bigger and bigger, comming closer to the ground. As the light radiated by it became broader and broader and started to blind the soldiers on the ground, some of the commanders of the church reacted and let her troops retreat. Better to be overcautious and retreat without a reason then to get caught in a enemy's technique and loose all their troops.
But this commanders were only the wises and most cautious, the ones that had already fought many wars and were used to difficult situations and sieges. They were also the once that had retained the biggest parts of their armies and did not suffer as many causalities as the newbie commanders.
But even amongst the accomplished commanders, there were a few that do not retread.
This were the ones that were confident into themselves and believed that they would be able to fight back anything comming onto them. They were the ones that had a true desire to fight and get a name for themselves, to be the ones to turn around the tides of the war.
One of this commanders was a certain woman. Long black hair fluttered around her beautiful face. A long sword tainted with blood reflected the dark black amour protecting her body.
It was exactly the woman that had spoken against the church's representing some days ago. Back then she was opposing the church, now she was fighting the monolith.
She two saw the blue light closing in onto their defence lines and she also guessed it's meaning. But different to the other commanders that had retreated, she stayed and instead constructed a tight defence at her position.

Heavy armoured soldiers holding reinforced shields shimmering with formations on them stood at the front covering the lighter armoured soldiers.
Experts versed in the art of ranged attacks were positioned at the back, instructed to fire station everything getting into their range.
And in midst of all that stood the black lady proudly overlooking the whole battlefield and awaiting the blue light and what would come with it.
Slowly the people at the ground could discern the blue light. It was a shield crushing down at insane speed. Behind it's blue luster lines of soldiers were visible standing disciplinary and gazing down on them. Crazy killing intend suddenly crushed down onto the church's lines taking their breaths.
"Here they come."
The black lady cheerfully said, but her eyes were frozen.
-Smash-
Finally the whole shield slammed into the ground burrowing a few unfortunately squads beneath them.
There neatly lined up squads were standing in midst of the field. Every squad was composed out of three thousand men all of them wearing a light armour emblemed with a blue dragon. Lines were pulsating all over the armours as formations sucked the qi out of the air and build their own shields.
The soldiers belonging to the church were frozen as they stared at the suddenly appeared newcomers. Even the black lady was completely shocked over this brash entrance not able to find herself for a moment. But this moment was all the kingdom needed.
"Men
KILLL!"
Suddenly the blue armoured soldiers advanced. It was no neat advance, no ordered attack.
It was the pure chaos. Soldiers were charging on their own running into enemies, clashing into the bodies of the soldiers and pushing out with their bare fists. No order, no rules, no sense. There was nothing reminding someone of a clash of two armies in this fight.
Pure body power clashed against the overwhelmed church troops and overran them.
Blood splashed all over the place as finally some of the Kingdoms soldiers began to use their cultivation and weapons and slashed the enemies apart.
All this was accompanied by a terrifying killing intent. A dark cloud floating around every single soldier suppressing every though of a counter in the church's troops heads.
Pure fear paralyzed their brains making them unable to move as they were killed like dogs and thrown to the ground.
And right there was Rean.
Blood shoot eyes he was circulating qi inside of his palms as he ran into the enemies, taking their head and crushing them. He took a man, gripped his leg and began swinging him around wipping out everything around him.
Moments later, all that was left of the man he took as weapon was a mass of flesh and gore.
"Kill!"
That was all that was on his mind.
"Father, mother, sister, I will finally truly avenge you!"

"Hahahahahahaha"
Nice story you have there!"
Zes laughed as he faced the blue gowned man. His broad smile was the complete opposite of the troubled face that sat in front of him.
All three of them, Zes, the red man, the blue man and the green man were sitting around a fire roasting some kind of fish and chatting around. While Zes was completely relaxed and cheerfully blabbered around, the three man were rather restrained and cautious.
Even right now they did not really know how the situation had ended like this.
-twenty minuted earlier-
Zes blocked a wide punch of the red man. Or rather his clone was. The true body was currently fighting the blue man while another clone retrained the green man in a close ranged fight. All three were busily blocking everything the three gods were throwing at them, not bothering to counter attack.
There was no sign of any counter from his side making it easy for the three man to continuously attack and even tried out new things by the way.
But even though it was kind of relaxed compared to the extreme fighting before, in fact the danger in the three gods minds did not lessen. They were even more tensed then before as they did not knew what Zes was planing and were warry of any sudden attacks comming onto them.
So even though it looked very relaxed, it was even more desperate then anything up to know.
That was until Zes said.
"I'm hungry, let's eat."

Grimm Tales: A RWBY Story
Two years after losing everything, two sisters will try to rebuild the lives they one had, as well as mend the heartache left behind through their connection with the many strange cast of characters they meet, and the many strange story's they're caught up in. Grimm Tales is a RWBY fan fiction I wrote and illustrated from 2014 through 2016. Keep that in mind when experiencing the story and the art within it. Also keep in mind that this story is technically unfinished. I put this aside in October of 2016 after completing what you can call the "first season" of what was going to be a multipart series. Even though the entire story remains unfinished, things do end in a somewhat satisfactory manner.

Living With Magic
Arthur, a young magician, is struggling with crippling social anxiety. The issue has reached a point where he likely won't graduate from University. Reaching a crossroads, he must decide whether to try and return to a family he despises or make his own path in the world. Is the magical power he has actually beneficial in the real world? Authors Note: I'm terrible at writing a synopsis, but over time I hope to write a better one. One of my favorite series of books is the Magicians by Lev Grossman and I hope to follow that same line of thinking within my story. How would a society built around magic actually exist and is power and magic actually as great as other stories make it out to be? The story and characters will be completely original and I will try to update the story on a regular basis. Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
