Hi, here is the first chapter in a while. Sry that I was away for so long without telling you, but I had to do some stuff for school and my brother had communion so I had to help to prepare it. To be honest I also had no motivation to do anything but reading LN and some H- Manga. So sry for this and I will try to write at least two more chapter for this week.
Chapter 77 Red
Zoe and Les closed their eyes as they stood on the wall turned towards the endless masses of fanatics, trying to storm onto the walls. A small smile played at their lips and for a moment there was no motion what's ever from them. Then suddenly they started to change. Their completely human form from before slowly were enveloped by faint blue light. The outlines of wonderful blue scales started to appear at their bodies, shining in the sun light. At the same time two small blue horns appeared at their heads. They were not shaped like the horns of devils, or dragons in western myths, but rather like the horns of goats and eastern mythology dragons.
A small blue drop like mark formed at their foreheads glittering in divine light.
The soldiers around them were shocked frowned. Many of them were demons who still saw it as improper to show anything of their true, beast appearance. Of course they knew that Zoe and Les, as well as Reis and Pinia would often do this to please their master Zes. But this was after all their master, a godlike person in the eyes of anyone inside of the city.
For Zes, it did not matter if he ordered them to take of their clothes, or assume their beast form. To please him, they would do much worse things then just that.
But at the moment Zes wasn't around, so why would the sisters attain this form?
How could this normal soldiers know that this had to do with the dao they were taught by Zes? This dao, the dao of Celestialwater, was a creation stage dao Zes had specially made for them. It's powers and natural rules involved the true form of their clansmen and boosted their powers. At the same time it was also a dao specially made for demons.
At first this did not matter as Les and Zoe had only a shallow understanding of the dao and did not need to exert it's full powers.
But now four years after they received it, they had already completely comprehended it and the rules behind it. At the time they had comprehended it, they understood that this dao was purely made for demons. As they went on using it and experimented a but with it they were astonished to see, that the power they could use grew bigger the further they went into their beast form!
Not only this. More water was in the vicinity the more powerful they would be and the stronger they could influence the dao's around them. It could be said, that only near to the sea and in their their true from of blue dragons, they were able to show their true powers.

In midden of a continent they couldn't just make a sea and increase the amount of water. But what they could was going back into their beast form. So they just changed their appearance a bit, making them more like their beast from. Completely going back into their beast form would be kind of disgracing and would harm their reputation within the demons. They were both influential demons and had to mind their reputation. After all who would really follow a disgracing ruler?
Going back a to a half human, half beast form and regrow their horns and scales, this was the furthest they could go without causing a scandal.
Standing there on the wall in front of millions of enemies and surrounded by a faint blue light, the two of them gave the soldiers the impression of two sea goddesses facing of against their enemies.
The natural beauty of the two sisters, added to the divine like light and the very sparse clothing they were wearing, only added to the effect and slowly the moral of the troops started to boost. Fighting for two goddesses, what can be better?
In the end it does not matter were you are or what race you have, beautiful woman rule.
They rule in the bed room, they rule in the house and in the end they rule over your whole life. A king might have the real authority, but a real queen would always have the last word. A emperor might have the power, but the empress will always convince him.
A beautiful woman with a bit of skill will always get her way.
So now, two beauties were standing there, looking like goddesses and asking them to fight with them. How could anyone not get exited? How could they not think about certain rewards that might come?
A young guards face suddenly flushed bright red as he quickly looked down. Other man already had troubles to control the mountains on their lower bodies as they started to sweat. But in midst of all this troubled man, the moral was over flowing
In this moment as the moral was at it's peak, the light around the two of them suddenly intensified. It started to pulsate in a strange rhythm and with every pulse the light surrounding them was expanding. Then like a wave the two lights surrounding them unified and flooded the area.
Every corner, every street, the whole army before the city wall, everything was covered in the blue light that continued to pulsate.
Then the heaven started to darken, black clouds gathering over the city and the surrounding land.
Gaping the people looked to the sky, imagining just how powerful the expert was, that managed to influence the nature in such a overbearing way.
The dark clouds gathered further and further and soon the whole land was completely isolated from the sun light. Now the only light was the pulsating blue covering everyone. The whole area had turned into a light blue.
Suddenly it thundered. A huge lightning bold broke through the walls of clouds, causing them to dissipate. As the lightning descended everyone was able to witness the boundless power concentrated in the blackness it was made of. Everyone recognised the lightning. It was real, true tribulation lightning! Celestial lighting that was also used to test Zes as he broke through four years ago!

Of course the lightning testing Zes was much stronger then the one now. But nevertheless it was still celestial lightning, something even deity exceeding existences were evading if possible. As for deities? A single touch of this lightning would already instantly eliminate any deity that was dump enough to take it head on.
This all exterminating lightning now slammed into the army of the church!
With a huge boom it reached the countless bodies standing next to each other. Even if the soldiers tried to dodge it, they had nowhere to dodge. On all sides were their own comrades blocking the way. The man they fought with. The man they were seeing as their own. They were now the reason of their death.
A light flashed through the blue in the area. A black light forecasting death and extermination. Anyone looking at it knew, that this lightning would not leave behind anything alive. With the light a crazy silence sank down on them.
It wasn't that they did not speak. There was just no sound. No matter if it was words, yells, the sound of steps or the dying voices of the fanatics.
Black lightning danced through the air, going from one corpse to the next and catching up to any lucky survivor that evaded death. It a split second, almost a quarter of the army was gone! The only thing left of them were black corpses and empty armours glittering it the sun.
There was no blood, there was no suffering or cries of pain. Only complete silence and area of more then a mile covered by death bodies.
Bang.
Les suddenly collapsed to the ground, sweat on her fore head. Because of her skirt raising a bit the outlines of her lower body become visible.
"No underwear…"
A soldier absent minded said, still shocked from the everything exterminating lightning.
Zoe still continued to stand, but it was obvious that she was barley holding herself on her legs. Her breathing was rough and sweat was soaking her clothes making them transparent.
"Mylady! Are you ok?"
A soldier that finally regained his focus quickly ran to her, worry in his eyes. Zoe holding onto the wall winked.
"….I…i'm ….o-ok."
The strain was visible on her beautiful face.
"s-sister…. It's too early. The ma……main part is still coming."
Shock grew across the soldiers face as he heard Zoe's words.
"T-this was n-not all?"
Zoe tiredly smiled.
"T-this is a dao… given by my master…….. do you believe…. it to be this simple?"
Just as she said this, the black clouds finally completely dissipated. Strands of sunlight once again reached the ground and illuminated the earth. Everything seemed to have retuned to normal.
But suddenly surprised yells echoed through the city. Everyone looked upwards the the sky.
There, a celestial scene had emerged. A blue sea seemed to have formed in the sky with small beings swimming through it. This beings were small, had scales and small fish tails.
It were mermaids. Mermaids made of strange light blue water.
They swamp across the sea in the heaven, seeming completely un bothered by the city and the army below them. Care free they were playing around and swimming. But then suddenly the sea started to descend. The mermaids, having played around a second ago, looked down to the city and upon seeing the small figures of Les and Zoe on the wall, a look of understanding appeared inside of their intelligent eyes.
They turned their gaze towards the army before the city. They saw the countless corpses on the ground. They saw the destroyed formations, the reckless advance of the fanatics, that did not even bother with the death of their fellow man. Still chanting and attacking the formations before the city wall.
They saw the city guards and soldiers quickly waking from their shock and pressed hard to once again defend the endless tides of bodies. Multicolored lights flashing from both sides, the one from outside the city smashing into the blue formations and dissolving, the other from within the city passing through the formation and causing blood to cover the earth.
The mermaids small bodies suddenly jumped out of the falling sea, closing into the army below.
But they never touched the fanatics. Just as their bodies were only ten meters from the ground, their bodies turned into blue mist. The mist floated there for a moment, but then quickly formed into small blue blades of water, that then continued falling down.
In mere moments, thousands of fanatics were pierced and died. The blades pierced their skulls, their hearths. The lungs or other important organs. The men died quickly and as they lied death on the ground, the blades of water suddenly turned back into mermaids.
They stared into the sky and in a strange language they started to sing.
The melody quickly crossed the whole battle field mixing with the death cries of the dying.
Blood soaked the ground as the falling sea finally caught up. Like a huge wave it swallowed everything in it's way.
Just as it seemed that this would the end of the church, a piercing red light appeared.
It reached the sea and the sea vanished. It reached the formations and the formations vanished. It reached the wall and the wall vanished.
Everything that had been between the city and the fanatics had completely finished, leaving only the defenceless soldiers and civilians behind.
"I got to late him? Never expected you to be as powerful as this. It seems your master is even more powerful then we had imagined. It's quite wrenching that I have to kill so promising talents, but unfortunately you are on the humans side.
I'm sorry, but you will now die."
A men clad in red had appeared before the city.

But Emiluna is not a normal girl and her destiny far bigger than she could have ever imagined.Join her as she finds out what awaits just behind the horizon.[Word from the author]I am looking to create a fantasy world that has some logic to it and stays believable even as characters gain power and progress in levels.Classes and level quantify the people's progress, but they do not artificially inflate their power to demi-god levels. I am primarily trying to write a captivating story, not "power-porn". That means it will be slower than the fast burning litRPG you might be used to, but it won't burn out that quickly either and I won't drop half of my plots at the wayside. I should mention that English is not my native language. I hope it is mostly unnoticeable, but sometimes I manage to slip some awkard sentence structure in there (German sometimes puts things together in reverse). It it also my first time writing an actual fantasy novel and the first time writing anything at length in English. Any constructive feedback is very welcome.Credit where credit is due: Cover picture by Paul Bica (Licensed under CC 2.0)Check out his amazing photos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dexxusYes, my cover picture is a photo, not a drawing. :D I might try my hand at some Paint-ification later to add the title.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
