Chapter 65 Casino
As Zes and Maaran entered the casino, they entered a world of extravagance. There was gold and silver on every part of a wall, every piece of furniture. Even the plants in exquisite vases that were probably worth a future to any normal person were covered in layers of gold and silver. It was as if someone had thrown the whole room and it's interior into a pool of gold, the pure quantity of this metal was already making most normal people unable to control their breathing.
Despite the amount of gold and silver in the whole casino, it did not give the feeling of being too much. It was kind of in place and the whole thing seemed to be in a strange equilibrium.
"Seems they had a good architect to build it this way."
"And a feng shui master at that."
Zes and Maaran quickly shared their impressions.
Indeed, the Green Phoenix family had requested one of the most famous feng shui masters in the whole realm to construct the two casinos and the auction hall for them. Coupled with the wealth and the materials the Green Phoenix Family had on hand, they constructed three grand buildings that could even measure up to the palaces of kingdoms.
Soon the two of them found drinks for themselves and started to play on multiple tables making every one they visited more lively. After all, both were core disciples and were deeply valued by certain people. The presents Zes got from the countless young masters of wealthy families were already more than enough to play for a whole week without winning once.
But in their case it wasn't so bad. Zes win to loose ratio was 50:50 while Maaran’s was slightly worse. So they essentially played without loose or gain.

At the same time in the same casino.
On a certain table was sitting a group of young men and women merrily playing various games and making casual bets. The table seemed to be no different to the other tables. There were bets, there were winners and there were losers. The only difference were the wages they were betting.
On other tables there were bets over a low level cultivation treasure or a magic treasure. Although both were quite expensive, no one would suffer much over their loss. If you lose, you lost a good item but if you win, you gain a good thing. Nothing too serious as every bet was only for the fun.
But on this particular table it was different. Even though to the owners the loss of those items wasn't too tragic but to anyone at the other tables it would be equal to lose their family heirloom! There were high class attack techniques, precious cultivation treasures and even slaves that were bet just so those young masters had a bit of fun.
No one dared to even get close to this table as everyone knew that this was the table for the descendants of the big families and factions. Not even speaking about the so called geniuses but if you don't have a few primordial cultivation treasures to squander, you shouldn’t even think about taking part in their outrageous bets.
At this table in a minute was more money flowing than a normal person would gather in their whole life. Faced with such enormous sums, who other than the rich families could afford to take part in this free time activity?
Suddenly a roar broke the merry atmosphere on the table. The son of the Sun family’s head had just lost three extremely rare cultivation treasures, each of them comparable to the ones growing in Zes garden. The Sun family was one of the top three families in the sect that held enormous influence that was only next to the one of the patriarch. They had four elders and more than a dozen core disciples to boast with and represented a power only few could go against head on. Other than the Sun family, the Blue Heaven Soul Family and the Green Phoenix family also were counted as the top powers in the sect.

The Blue Heaven Soul Family because of their elders and core disciples that were as numerous as the Sun family's, while the Green Phoenix family had their wealth that gave them enough power to be counted as top family.
This son of Sun family’s head was currently raging around, unable to endure the loss of the three cultivation treasures. In the first place he had never intended to use them as bet as they had been prepared for himself to consume to boost up his meager cultivation base. But the Blue Heaven Soul's young master, a grandson of the family head, had provoked him until he had to place it as bet in order not to lose his face.
Right after that, the Sun clan’s young master had an exceeding bad hand and instantly lost losing the bunch of precious stuff. Of course he was enraged as he knew that he had been linked but in the end he couldn't do anything about it as he had lost in a fair way.
Because of that, he suddenly broke into rage to vent his anger and calm himself down.
"You fucker, how is it that you even dare to show up here? Hasn't your young mistress been striped a few days ago and even forced to climax all the time? Oh, right, I have seen it myself, I have to say really not a bad view to see that impatient bitch getting taught manners. A really thick skin you have to appear right after this. I for my part would have been too ashamed to even show myself in public."
Backed by the anger and a certain amount of alcohol he had consumed earlier, the Sun clan's young master started to curse even more viciously and his voice got louder and louder. At the same time, the Blue Heaven Soul Family's young master's face turned green and anger appeared in his calm features. He had been raised as a very proud person and never endured any insults directed at him. Because of this he also quickly flew into rage.
On both sides the other family members and guards became alerted and positioned themselves next to their respective masters. Soon two factions had formed and faced each other throwing vicious glares at each other. As for the other young masters and their followers, they just stayed outside of this and positioned themselves as mere viewers. In fact, many of them looked forward to the clash as it would certainly be even more interesting than the games on the tables. Many other tables’ players also stopped playing and soon the attention of the whole casino was gathered on this one point.
Tension quickly grew heavier as the two camps’ experts glared at each other waiting for their masters to command the attack.
Suddenly the Sun family's young master couldn't take anymore.
"Attack, crush these damn bastards."
A moment later the Blue Heaven Soul family's young master followed.
"What are you waiting for, give those guys a good beating."
Both sides started to use their soul realms and attack techniques and the invisible divine soul energy soon filled the air.
The sun family's young master was just about to release his top level attack technique Golden Soul barrage, as a powerful voice suddenly rippled through the whole casino.
"Hey you retards, quite down will you? There are other guests here to. SO MOVE YOU MONKEY ASSES OUT OF THIS CASINO AND FIGHT OUTSIDE."
The whole crowd was startled and it took them some time to realize who had spoken right now. It was Zes that sat in a corner nipping on a drink and holding a book in his hand. He did not even seem to realize the glances of the whole casino as he calmly resumed reading.
The surprised face of the Blue Heaven Soul family's young master soon turned ugly as he comprehended Zes’s words. It turned even uglier as he saw that Zes was paying no heed to him. It was the same with the Sun family's young master who also directed his resentment directly on Zes. After all, he was also a culprit for the suffering of his cousin and the loss of face he had experienced tonight.
Both faces turned vicious as they yelled.
""Get this guy for me""
At the same time Zes startled.
"Wait, this is kind of a deja vu. Where…. ah right the red serpent clan….."
Zes mumbled as a group of hundred plus guys rushed towards him.
