Chapter 46 Basement

A black mist appeared in the garden and made it impossible to see anything. After it slowly dissipated, Zes could finally see just what was inside of the interspatial ring.

After taking the steps, he reached a heavy door made of some hard wood. He opened it and to be honest, he wasn't surprised to see what it was like.

The basement was made out of crude stone and illuminated by a few torches. But the important thing were the countless torture devices that literally made out the whole basement.

Zes closed the door. After that he used his finger to paint a few symbols on the door. A formation immediately appeared on it. Then he turned around to Pinia, Reis, Les and Zoe that were standing behind him and said while having a beaming smile.

"Get out of here."

A shiver crossed their backs and they hurriedly got out of the stairway. As they got out of it and now stood on the main hall of the first floor, they heard an exasperated cry. After that cry, a huge boom followed close behind. The whole mansion started to shake and a huge cloud of dust came from the tunnel that led to the basement. A bit frightened they glared into the black tunnel.

A moment later Zes came out of it. There was a strange sense of pressure emanating from him. A crocked smile was on his face and any child that would see him now would certainly start crying.

"Whose idea was it?"

The frightened Pinia lifted her hand while trembling. Zes strongly glared at her and Pinia couldn't help but start to tremble even more. But at the same time a bit of anticipation appeared inside of her masochistic self.

"NEVER EVER DO THIS AGAIN. And apologize to Gay. Now I can understand why he was so down. As for your punishment we will do it tonight."

Pinia was just speechlessly nodding. Only after some time she finally noticed the hidden meaning in Zes’s words.
