Seth entered the Mine, just as he crossed the boundary between light and dark, nothing happened, no bite, nothing. He had not activated his spell yet, just to make sure it was not the darkness that was dangerous but the creatures inside it. he said, the mana was drawn from his mana pool and no reply. "That's a little anti-climactic," he thought to himself. He said, and a blueish light orb manifested above his head, "Strange" He thought, it changed color from it usually orange glow. Could he maybe change the color or maybe it changed dependent on his Intelligent or wisdom stats? Not wanting to use more time he continued down the mining shaft. He walks back to the exact place he had been and found nothing, the ore vein was gone. "They must have a time limit or something" Seth stated to himself, finding it comforting talking to himself in this darkness. The darkness was an absolute black, eating the light emitting from the light orb, he had a much larger radius of light compared to the orange glow, but still, he could feel something in the darkness looking back at him. "" He said, the mana disappeared but still no reply.

He looked at the walls, the stone was getting darker and darker, and the tunnel was never-ending. He started getting paranoid, had it not been for two things, his magical light and the fact that the tunnel was spacious he would have returned a lot sooner. Thinking he had goon to far inside the tunnel, and his unknown claustrophobia appearing he was thinking of returning, but wanted to find a new vein of ore, his inner greed getting the better of him.

He had walked for over an hour or more, he did not know time as he had no clock, but it felt a lot longer than last time at least. he started counting steps, "Should have started that from the beginning?" he told himself, before forgetting what number he was on. He had gotten up to 170, or so he believed before forgetting to count, it had no meaning for now anyway. Time passed and the tunnel had just continued with a slight slope upwards. Even with his stamina doubled it was still draining, he had lost over a quarter and that was with his increased stamina regeneration. Continuing analyzing the darkness as he walked, and sometimes the wall when it looked a little strange compared to everything else. The darkness was just at the edge of where the light ended, was it him or had the light diminished a little?

Finally, he found it, . The system did not give him any more information other than its level, not its health or anything useful. Before he could think, he shouted: "". He was lucky, he threw it dead straight, going further then he thought it would. But the inferno in front of him was terrifying, it lasted longer than he remembered but it did not expand that much further than last time. He looked up the skill while thinking he should be more careful with that spell.

Skill Lvl: Name: Effect: B.A.O.E A.O.E Lvl Multi: Total Mult M.Attack: B.Mana.C: Lvl 2 Fireball A ball of Fire is thrown from the hand of the caster and explodes upon contact 2m 2,2m +20% +20% 180 20

So it originally had a diameter of 2 meters, and now it was 2,2 meters, meaning it would increase when the skill level. Its cost was fixed at 20 mana per casting, and the damage was 180dgm for everything inside the inferno. calling it an explosion was just wrong though.

The inferno had died down within seconds, and the Shadow rat?

He had not Leveled this time, as he needed a total of 17430Exp for this level and not knowing how close he was to level, he had no idea when he would level.

But fire seemed like a great way of killing them, had it not been for the fact that everything that was supporting the mine shafts walls and roof was wood. he looked closely at the wood, it had burn marks all over but that was about it. He continued and still not finding any more rats or bats. It was so quiet, the damp stale air with the smell of rock moss and the darkness creeping after him as he walked. Until he found a large natural cavern inside, it was large compared to the shaft but still only about 20 meters across. At the opposite end was something covered in fog, it looked like a mirror inside the fog. The fog was sliding down it, covering it, just to reappear above it. The rest of the cavern looked just like the shaft without the wooden beams. Sharp black rocks, glistening with a layer of water. Seth walked closer to the mirror, it was a little taller than him and just a little wider.

He lifted his hand to feel the fog. It was cold and had substance to it, just as he retracted his hand something from behind pushed him. He tried to brace himself with his arms instinctually, but instead of finding something solid he passed straight through the mirror.
