《World Master》Chapter 3

“Hey, I still wanted to ask you—” I yelled, then sighed, “And he’s gone.”
Turning toward the doctors, I had a thought: “Hey, since I’m likely to send the next several hundred years with you, can I use your first names when talking to you?”
“Sure, I’m Lucien,” said Dr. Bastien.
“I’m Titania,” said Dr. Larkens.
“And I’m Oberon,” Dr. Stanton.
“And I guess you already know that I’m John. Also, really? You two are named after the High Queen and King of the Faeries?” I asked.
“Apparently, they are.”
“You two now have to be the beta testers for the Faerie race.”
“Please, please, tell me that faeries are an overpowered race that you won’t get to for a few hundred years,” said Titania.
“It will probably be a few decades before we get there. They should be at least tier 3,” I responded, “they are almost all magical, so they are rather strong as a race. Even as individuals they are at least tier 2, when they work together they are exponentially more powerful.”
“What kind of magic will humans have?” asked Lucien
“Humans will often be born with natural Aura or Qi abilities. They will also be very rarely born with mana affinity. I plan on making all the races in the first tier like that.”
“And what was it you said about RPG stuff?”
“Oh, yes, everyone will have stats, skills, classes, and other such things. They will even be able to create abilities. They get to name the ones that they make, but the names will go through us first,” Waving my hand, mainly for dramatic effect, I made a stack of nine sheets of paper appear in front of them, “This is what an average young adult’s stat table will look like for the basic races.”

The tables for the other races* looked much the same, the races being Humans, Gnomes, Halflings, Dwarves, Orcs, Merkin, Wolfkin, Tigerkin, and Bearkin.
*The other races’ status screens won’t be shown just yet, partially because I’m still working on them, and partially because I would be accused of trying to inflate my word count if I displayed 9 nearly identical tables in a single chapter.
“Why are the levels different?” asked Oberon.
“They will live in different environments for one,” I responded, “And a tigerkin would be more predatorial than a human or dwarf would be, while the most dangerous creatures live in the very deep oceans, where the merkin are the only creatures capable of easily getting to them, and are also the closest food source.”

Subversion
Subversion is a game with highly customizable settings that allow you to fine tune your character choices. It was state-of-the-art when it was released, won awards and everything. It's not a game for you to pick "random" and hope for the best. But, that's exactly what Miguel did when he started playing. And, of course, his characters came out a little...different. A pothead bombardier elf who cusses and engineers. A stubborn Chosen One who refuses to do anything but farm. And a world full of NPCs, bosses, and villains who act nothing like they should. Now Miguel is forced to adjust the situation in order to help his characters level up and defeat the Dark Lord. But, will they make it to the end of the game? And if they do somehow survive all the tricks, betrayals, and deception thrown their way, will the game be what anyone thought it was going to be? *** As of [13] Do a Barrel Roll! Ch. II, Subversion will no longer be uploaded on Royal Road. Please go to forestgreenwriting.com for more chapters.***

Dauntless Star
WWIII has come to pass and 91% of the Earth is left scorched and uninhabitable. From the ashes of WWIII two major powers emerged. The Southern Alliance (SA) and the Northern United Nations (NUN). The SA sought refuge in space devising devices to enhance the body and keep the mind occupied. This novel follows the journey of a young man named Crescent who saw the worst humanity had to offer in The Game and was given a second chance, traveling back in time when humanity first left for the stars. More importantly when The Game first started. Hello Author here just thought I’d say hi. This is the first novel and there will more than likely be a lot of grammar mistakes and slow writing but together we can finish this novel. Any constructive feedback you can give or editing you can do will be very appreciated. So come join in a journey of sci-fi, fantasy, time travel and romance (hopefully). Damn single life ? Ps if the cover artwork is yours and you can provide proof, I would be happy to take it down at your request as per you intellectual rights. If not thx

Steelhaven: The Rising Darkness
War rages on in the 10th millennium. Two interplanetary alliances, the Kyklos United World Alliance and the New Era Powers, are engaged in an intergalactic war that spans across the galaxy, with the latter slowly but surely achieving victory over the former. In a move of desperation, the Crown Prince of one of KUWA's allied nations, the Kingdom of Icaria, Verigan Aekarios XIII, assembles a team of specialists from across the galaxy to aid the war effort and put a stop to the NEP's progress. As our heroes begin their journey to win the Second Icarian-Orion War, they will go through many trials and tribulations. From the more obvious and direct, such as the thousands of enemy soldiers aiming for their heads, to the more inconspicuous and insidious, such as the prejudices of governors less than enthused by Verigan's course of action, as well as some... darker forces at play. Will our heroes prevail in their quest to end this war? What do these dark forces hold in store for the people of Kyklos? And is there any way to stop them? Find out in Steelhaven: The Rising Darkness! A sci-fantasy novel, collaboratively written by Denver Solace, J.P. Stefanno, Derrik S., Kezo D. Source, and a few other friends. Also available on Wattpad under the name Denver Solace.

Dhanurana
Out of an unnaturally quiet night, a bedraggled woman in noble finery requests access to the southern capital. Who she is has been lost to time for most, but her continued existence will throw everything further out of balance. Janurana had barely survived her royal house's destruction at the hands of foreign invaders, surviving day by day in the scattered pocket forests and arid shrub lands, constantly escaping the ghosts of her past. The south has barely survived their recent Pyrrhic victory against the north immediately followed by a coup. The north is bloodied but unbowed, on the brink of civil war, but still ready to take up arms against the southern invaders. The leaders of the south cannot afford another obstacle. And Janurana is just that. Yet her chance meeting with a woman expelled from the warrior class named Dhanur gives them both a chance to avenge the ones they loved, finish what they failed to do, and return to a normal life. *** Set in a fantasized bronze age India featuring LGBT female leads. Told in an omniscient pov with glances into multiple characters. This is my first book even if I've been working on it for a while but I hope you can all still find some enjoyment and take a break from everything happening in the world. Remember to work on your dreams. :)
