Jonny called Jason watching the infected gather around the wall he built around the school.
"You got it done." Jason said instead of hello.
"Yeah, but the fish are gone." Jonny said glancing back at the sleeping Ray. "So your going to need to lock up tight they mite be heading your way."
"...Got it, i'll wait for the others what are you going to be doing?"
"Well i'm deep in so I guess i'll see what I can do here. If nothing else i'll just play zombie movie for a while and blast some with purification."
"...right." Jason said but Jonny thought he could hear a little bit of laughter in the voice. "Good luck with that, i'll send out the notice that we got set up. I doubt Luke will take that long to get over here."
"Yeah, maybe an hour at most." Jonny said "but it couldn't hurt to get a jump start on clean up right?"
"Prob not." Jason said. "Just watch out hate to have to explain why you got infected while I was eating dinner."
"Oh i'm sure Luke would love to gloat about how I didn't last 5 minutes alone with the zombies." Jonny said with a shake of his head.
"Bet." Jason said then hung up.
Jonny let the screens drop as Jerry came back from inside the school.
"The sheriff would like to talk with you, maybe say thanks or ask how much longer till things are finally all sorted and done with." Jerry said glancing at Ray. "Could you make me one of those?"
"...Yeah, hang on." Jonny said considering telling the man no, but he was very helpful today.
Jonny made a large chair and set it up next to Ray's Jerry jumped in got comfortable relaxing for a moment then seamed to focus hard tensing most of his body for a moment.
Before Jonny could ask what the hell that was, something like ripples started to appear around Ray going into Jerry then sucker fish, (much smaller then the ones Ray had made) started to swim out of him.
"yeah, it never gets easier to watch that." A voice from behind him made Jonny turn to see a large man with a very dirty cop uniform, sheriff on his badge.
"Yeah it's hard to take it all in." Jonny said noticing the bags under the sheriff's eyes and the start of a patchy beard on his chin.
"Still i'd give my left arm to help out right now." He said looking almost darkly at Jerry and Ray in there chairs.
"I'm sure your doing all you can..." Jonny tried to comfort the man.
He turned his eyes on Jonny barley holding back rage as he said "I'v got 200 plus people, more coming in every day each and every one of them looking at me. Asking me when is this going to be fixed, what am I doing to fix it when are the people I called coming to save us.
Mean while these guys are out there really working to fix things i'm stuck here with the keys." He brandished a bundle of keys at Jonny "I feel like a god damned baby sitter. I Let people in and open the door for the cooks to get at the food. Just trying to keep people calm waiting on fucking fish to save us."

Jonny let the man get it all out, he was clearly under a lot of pressure. Jonny noticed the guy didn't have his gun on him.
The guy let out a long sigh giving up the rant. "They said your here to save us all? You put up some sort of wall around the town?"
"yeah..." Jonny said and pointed to the zombies who were hitting there hands on air or bouncing off of what looked like nothing.
The cop looked then his eyes flicked upward he gestured with a chin. "How sure are you no one got in the way? These people may look dead but they still need to breath."
Jonny wasn't sure what the man was talking about until he saw a bird floating in the air struggling madly to get free from what looked like nothing at all.
Jonny grimaced "...I don't think so."
"So you can't be sure?"
"No... But the other guy should be here any minute." Jonny said.
"Other guy?" The cop asked.
"Yeah he's got a power that should be able to take them all out in one go." Jonny said.
"Better get here quick." The cop muttered. "Better put on a better show then that, I'm about to let the wolves on you."
Jonny was confused especially by the big smile the Cop gave him as he started back into the school.
"Com on hero, its time to meet the common people" The officer said leading him into the school opening the door.
"Wish I put on my shinny pants then." Jonny muttered heading in after him.
That got him an odd look but the cop didn't mention it going over there set up. Tonny was a will o' wisp and would lure people onto the bus, then Ray or Jerry would use fish to cure them before Tonny would lead them inside a class room to get dressed looked at and set up with clothes.
Once in a while Jerry, or Tonny would make a run for things like a truck load of clothing or food from the tiny Sam's Shoppe they had in town.
"I didn't think things had been going on that long." Jonny said.
"2 weeks." The cop said sounding like that was much to long a time. "We were preparing for the long hall."
"Makes sense." Jonny said trying to sound like he understood.
"Right..." The cop said unlocking an inner door, to were the people were before locking it behind them.
"Locking people in?" Jonny didn't stop himself form asking.
"Yes." The cop said defensively as they walked down a long quiet dark hallway. "Its safer that way, got my guys watching as many people as we can and anybody who gives any guff gets put into one of the class rooms for time out. Most of them where the people pissed we took there guns, even after we gave up ours to stop any accidents."
"Oh..." Jonny was a little impressed with this guy, in the movies cops were one of the main problems really. Cleaning to there guns and nearly killing anyone at the drop of a hat. Hell a normal man would want his gun in this situation and wouldn't give it up for god or gold.

The fact he could put that a side for public good and rational safety was truly impressive.
"You sir deserve a metal." Jonny said firmly.
The cop stared at him blankly for a moment seeing if he was messing with him and when he wasn't gave a soft chuckle. "I'd settle for a long vacation."
Jonny smiled at that as the cop unlocked the door to the gym then vanished with out so much as a sound.
Jonny blinked looking at the spot he had been. 'What the fuck was that?'
Jonny was just getting his thoughts together when the door opened and a older woman stood nose in the air.
"You cant hid from me Mr. Barbrady I demand you let us into the food store room I have been starved and treated rudely for far to long." She seamed to finally notice Jonny was not the sheriff. "Who in the world are you?"
"I'm here to help?" Jonny asked unsure of himself now.
"And where is Mr. Barbrady?"
Jonny thought quickly. "I'm sure he'll be back soon I was told to come in and talk with everyone. Let you all know things should be sorted by the end of the day." Jonny said in his best and brightest talking to a Karen voice.
"He did say that we where to meet a lovely lady who would be of the best help." Jonny added in his most sugary lying voice.
"You liar." The old lady snarled "TELL ME WHERE MR BARBRADY IS RIGHT NOW!"
Jonny blinked he never failed to charm before but then again he had never tried to charm an old lady who thought the world was ending.
"I don't know." Jonny admitted as others gathered around the screaming old woman.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?"
Others gathered around Men in uniform moving quickly.
"That is enough!" one of the younger ones snapped at the lady "I Have had enough of your bullshit."
"EXCUSE ME? THIS MAN JUST SAID MR BARBRADY RAN AWAY"
"NO I DIDN'T" Jonny called trying to be heard.
"THAT'S IT!" The younger man called grabbing her by the arms and with the help of another officer started dragging her away into the hall.
A 3rd man came out looking around. "What the hell happened?"
"I... don't know. He was just standing there then he was gone." Jonny said "I... think he was pulled away into a world portal."
The new officer was a little older then Jonny looking even rougher then the sheriff. "What he's just gone?"
Jonny felt helpless as he shrugged. "Yeah?"
"Where are his keys?" The guy asked.
"With... him?" Jonny said looking around the door not seeing the keys.
"So were trapped?" The guy said loud enough for the people behind to hear.
"NO, NO I can get everyone out" Jonny said quickly, but he was drowned out by a small city worth of people panicking.
Jonny had heard of riots had seen some news shows talk about them but he had no idea what it was like to be in one or to see that moment when a group of people flipped and madness took over.
Jonny didn't know even a little of the story but the old lady who yelled at him was the first to go, the officers and some of the regular people beat her to death, followed by a few others then they started trying to tear the doors down.
Some went for the food, others for the guns. Jonny was quickly overwhelmed just putting up a wall around himself and huddling behind it as he tried not to watch the people lose there minds.
A bright light shown and everyone went still, Jonny looked up to see smaller jellyfish floating around mesmerizing everyone.
A ball of white fire floated to Jonny and a figure appeared out of it. "How the hell did you fuck up this bad this fast?"
Jonny just shrugged hopelessly. "Sheriff's gone. I don't know where just ...poof."
"Fuck." The figure said looking at Jonny's wall. "You better get your fucking people here fast. Did he leave the keys behind?"
Jonny shook his head. "That's what started this."
The guy sighed Starting to head away.
"But I can help." Jonny said "I can open the doors."
"Good, come on we got a lot of people to keep apart." The guy said and lead Jonny to open the doors using his solidification like a key, leading small groups of people to get locked into the class rooms or anywhere else they could fit them.
"You set up the big wall right?"
"Yeah..."
"Set up walls around everyone, keep them separated." Tonny said and Jonny did as he was told setting up walls around everyone except families that were clearly huddling together before they got zonked.
After everyone was set up and put away Tonny had Jonny let them out to Ray and Jerry.
"What the fuck did you do!" Ray yelled at Jonny as they came out. "YOU WHERE ONLY HERE 10 MINUTES"
"Look it's not his falt." Tonny said "I put a little whammy on him to tell the truth, Sheriff Barbrady just vanished. Got pulled away to some other world he thinks."
"OH fuck." Jerry said clearly losing it a little starting to pace a little back and forth.
A message appeared on Jonny's phone. "incoming portal on your left."
Seeing that the way was clear Jonny didn't bother to say anything as a portal opened a blond scarred skinny figure stepping out looking around seriously.
"Right, so who ordered a walking anti-zombie nuke?" The messed up Luke asked before giving a little smirk and exploding with a dark green light.

Generic Zombie survival Wuxia Cliche story
Same old same old. Zombies attack. Zombies Evolve. Humans evolve. Humans gain superpowers. No deep plot, no plot planned out at all actually. Writing it as I go and because I'm a sad boi trying to use stories as a form of escapism. Not going to proofread, not going to check for grammar or anything. Will definitely read like a machine-translated Chinese amateur web novel. Have a nice day. (The cover is from one punch man, no this is not a fanfic) (I don't actually plan/think anything in this will be too gory or "traumatizing" but since its a zombie survival story I thought I might as well add it, plus the fact that the MC does some pretty messed up stuff. He's the stereotype Wuxia villain so to speak, expect competently and not dumbed down to make the hero look smart.) I will add warnings in author notes before chapter starts if anything particularly "gory" or trigger events happen.

Grey [HIATUS]
I was originally fueled by anger and disdain to write this and looking back, most of what I wrote for this story was unplanned and a bit trashy. I kinda stopped having ideas for this, so I stopped in the end. If you're looking at this right now, you probably shouldn't read this because it's only 12 crappy chapters in and yeah... Sorry to the people who might've liked this. (Maybe one day I'll continue this, but for now, I have other plans) Grey, a prince, is unsure about what to do when he starts running away from an enemy beast tamer. He's unsure on what to do now that his father, the king, is dead. In the forest alone, he'll discover a small companion and a rogue. Together will they figure a way to take back Grey's kingdom? Or will they just die in vain? Let's be honest here, most of you probably like the fox aspect of the story the most. (BTW the cover design is made by me. Terrible, I know) I'm kind of done with writing bs descriptions that I might change in the future, plus I'm not very good with being thoughtful with quotes and stuff like that. I just write what pops into my mind, which is usually stupid things. So the description may or may not be accurate so I've changed it to being very vague.
