As we come into sight of the palace, I get an idea. "Kalvin, shall we run back to the palace? The distance should be about the same as running the walls." And if we run back we will be back early and I can have some more Emi time.

He thinks about it as he continues to ride. Coming to a stop, he dismounts then moves his sword from his hip to his back. Having stopped when he did, I too dismounted. I was dressed in nearly the same outfit as I normally run in except for having a mid thigh length tunic instead of a short one and my brogues instead of my boots. Handing my reins to Emi, I stretched. Then we started to jog.

After a couple hundred feet, Kalvin upped the pace. Emi follows behind at a slower speed. When we reached the road to the west, we turned toward town, speeding up again. We are at a fast jog now. Kalvin holds this pace until we reach the base of the hill the palace sits on then starts a slow sprint. I attempt to keep up but can't so I maintain the jogging pace. I do sprint the last hundred feet where the trail slopes down to the draw bridge. Kalvin is slowly jogging in a circle in front of the bridge waiting for me. When I run up to him, he crosses the bridge at a sprint, with me on his heels. He drops to walk as we cross in front of the front door of the palace.

"Not bad, your majesty, you are improving quickly." We are approaching the garden gate. I stop to check the new bricks, they need turned and stacked, which I start doing, he is soon helping. When Emi rides up, we stop to help her dismount then all of us finish the bricks. Once done with the bricks, Emi and I enter the garden, remove our shoes and stockings, go get ready for supper. Emi fetches a pitcher of hot water for us before we goto my rooms. Once there candles are lit, clothing removed and many caresses exchanged, we finally wash up. When Sophia mind speaks me, we are nearly dressed for once.

Going down to set the table, we find Eliza, Sophia and Helen have it already done and are sitting waiting for us.

"Evening Ladies. Have you had a productive afternoon?" I sit across from Sophia, Emi sitting beside me.

"Evening Rufina, Emi. We had a very good day." says Sophia. "Helen and I spent the afternoon at her shop making sales. And Eliza came along for the company."

"I was able to get three more pages for the alphabet book done, so through G is finish, now. Would you like to see them?" When I nod she goes to her work table on the other side of the atrium returning with three sheets of paper, which are laid in front of me. Like she had decided on a couple of day ago, E was an egg in a nest and F is a fence but G is different, it's a girl. They are well drawn, she is getting better. The picture of the girl is quite life like.

"Very good, Eliza. You are going to do a horse for H aren't you? Why don't you go watch the foal tomorrow and sketch her and her mama so you get practice drawing horses."

"Oh, that's a good idea." She gathers the drawings and returns them to her table, then sits back down. She looks around noting that the males of the household aren't present, before saying, "Emi, could you shave me this evening? It's getting bristly, Kalvin was grumbling about it the other night and it's itchy."

"We can do that." She looks at me then Sophia, "How are you two? Need a trim?"

"Yes, I could use one." I say.

"Not really, it's like the hair on my head, it doesn't grow unless I will it to." Sophia explains.

"Would you like a bath anyway?" Emi asks.

"That I can use."

Tilly comes down the stairs carrying a tray holding a pair of meat pies which she places in front of me. Then goes to the kitchen returning shortly with another tray holding bread and teapots. After she sits, Emi stands and whispers in her ear. "Yes I would." I assume that it's the what we were just talking about but as the guys have arrived she didn't want to let everyone know.

I slice the pies then place a piece on every ones plate when it was passed to me. The maids and Abbey have gone to town already, the maids to spend with their families and Abbey with her beau. There are only nine at table tonight, the fewest there has been in quite awhile.

Helen tells us that Daniel delivered the kick wheel to the shop this afternoon. Sophia had handled the shop for a hour while Helen spun some yarn on it, sitting in the corner of the shop where the customers could see. Several had show interest in it, even trying it out. Helen wants to talk business after supper so I tell her to help me wash the dishes tonight we can talk then.

"Hans has built four more ponds and was filling them today. He has been instructed on the lay out of the rest of the ponds. With his help we moved the cabana to the next inlet over, which is much better suited for swimming, having a large sand beach and a large shallow place to swim. Over the rest of the summer I would like to add a few amenities, a privy, a paddock for the horses, a floating dock and a second cabana, A picnic area wouldn't be a bad idea either."

Tobias reports that another wall is nearing completion on the bathhouse, only two to go. Aden says that Bob has started on the house and is using the wheelbarrows I had made. I asked Aden if he had ordered two more made? He had. Aden also says that the contents of the house is being moved here in the morning, what should be done with it?

"Tobias, is there any room in the barn?"

"Some, what all is being stored?"

"Four beds, a dining room table, a desk, a few chairs, a pair of kitchen tables, four wardrobes, four chests, four bedside tables, some crockery and some books and nicknacks and a large chair and a small table." Aden lists the furniture that is in the house by room.

"The books can be placed in the study, along with the nicknacks. The chests can be placed in the cellar along with the crockery. The beds can be placed in my old room. So the wardrobes, the desk and the tables in the barn. Aden, you had to borrow chairs for the meeting in the town hall didn't you?" He nods. "The chairs can go to the town hall then. The large chair can go in the barn also."

I see that most of them are done eating, myself included so start loading the tray with dirty dishes. After placing my dishes I hug Tobias, Aden and Kalvin goodnight. When there is a stack of dishes on the tray I carry it to the kitchen, fill the wash tub with hot water and scrap some soap into it. Then the dishes get placed in the water, then a small tub get filled with hot water to rinse the dishes in.

Helen joins me as the other four fetch pitchers of hot and cold water. "What I want to talk to you about is spinning wheels. Several ladies asked if the kick wheel was available, I had to tell them no. What I would like to do is have Daniel start building them but I need some cash to pay him. Would you loan me the money?"

"First, how much were you planning to sell them for?"

"One silver 5. I think that is a good price, as Daniel makes them for 18 copper."

"I'll give you the money. As the spinning wheels are part of my plan to increase productivity in the clothing sector, it should be the kingdom to bear the cost. I'll give you five silver, you order five wheels from Daniel. When you sell a wheel, order another wheel built. As you sell them put the profit back into inventory. For every three you sell you can order an extra one. Is that okay with you?"

She hugs me so it must be fine. "Thank you, Rufina."

"And I have an idea for a skirt you could make, though I doubt there would be much call for it on the island except for us. You have ridden a horse so you know what a pain it is to ride in a skirt. What I was thinking was to make a skirt with panels dividing the skirt into a pair of trousers so you could ride, But when you are standing or walking it would look like you are wearing a skirt. They could be any length, ankle to mid thigh. What do you think?"

She stares in to space, imagining what I described. "You are right there wouldn't be much call for something like that here on the island as we are the only woman that ride regularly. I'll bet they would sell well on the mainland though. Do you have any other styles of clothes I could make?"

"Several, actually. We can goto dream space and view them after we bathe."

All this time I have been washing and Helen rinsing and drying the dishes so we are close to being done. When the last fork is dried we head up stairs, stopping at Helen's room to collect her night wear. I suggest she strip down and wear her robe, so she doesn't have dirty clothes to move around in the morning.

Collecting her clothes we goto my rooms. Knocking on the door, I open it far enough for us to slip though. Tilly is sitting on the edge of the chair getting her pubes shaved by Emi as Sophia brushes her hair. Everyone is naked except me and Helen, who sheds her robe, leaving only me. Standing near the basket I start shedding clothes into it. When I am in the uniform of the moment I drop into a meditation position. Relaxing I watch as Tilly gets washed, rinsed and dried. She kisses Emi and Sophia, tells the rest of us good night then leaves.

Eliza is next. Sophia put a small amount of water on her head then soaps her scalp as Emi washes, rinses and rubs her feet then trims her nails. After Sophia rinse her hair and drying it, Emi soaps her pubes, shaving them, when finish there Emi does her underarms next. After her hair is washed and she is shaved she is passed to Helen who start scrubbing her.

I get seated on the chair next. My hair, feet, under arms and pubes are washed, rinsed, shaved or brushed. Then they stand me up and start scrubbing me. When I am finished I switch places with Sophia. The process is repeated on her then on Emi and Helen. Then we dress in our night clothes. Sophia and Eliza are wearing their pads tonight. When I notice that I asks if they are cramping? No, lucky girls.

"Sophia, can we go to dream space for a bit, I would like to show Helen some clothes designs."

"Sure we can do that. The same as the other night?" I nod.

She lays in the center of the bed, then Eliza and Helen next to her with Emi and I behind. Sophia rises her head, looking each of us in the eyes sending us to dream space starting with me. When I get there I form Eliza's meadow, then dress myself in a sundress, a one piece loosely fitting dress, knee length, bare shoulders with a slight flare to the skirt. As each of the others appear I cloth them in a different style dress, some with short sleeves, most with no sleeves, some with deep cleavage, other demure with barely any. Some have bare backs, one has the skirt slit to the waist on the sides. Some are brightly color others in natural flax tan.

Mirrors, so large it would impossible to make in the real world appear, reflecting them in their different dresses. Helen is examining the different styles. She ask me to show her the spilt skirt, which I do, wearing an ankle length one to start with. Then changing it slowly to just above the knee. The other have noticed and are watching. Sophia states that she would like one of those, mid calf length, please. The others chime in too, most going for mid calf or just below the knee. Helen asks me to form one on Emi so we can figure out the tail opening. Emi stands back to us as I change the tail hole for Helen. Finally settling on a flap with four buttons though two don't do anything.

"Thank you Rufina, that was interesting, some of the designs have too much skin showing for the here and now but others are definitely going to be made."

"I'll let you all know what the split skirt is going to cost in the morning after I figure out how much cloth one takes."

"All right ladies, the same as the other day, you will not wake up just go into regular sleep once you leave dream space." Sophia tells everyone then kisses each of them, which cause them to fade away. After Helen fades away I take Sophia in a hug,

"See you in the morning, sweetie." She gives me a long passionate kiss and I fade away.
