Soldier POV

The King has been gone for a year. We kind of got used to him being gone but one day an army of about 50,000 attacked.

The fighting was terrible. I mean I was in the war with the Republicans and Democrats but it sucks when you are on the side with less numbers.

After the first 2 days I have been recently promoted to a 1,000 man commander. Now if I survive this occasion I will be pleased but I am just trying my best to keep my men and I alive.

Where the hell is the king and his cohorts when you need them. Did he possibly abandon us?

Day 7 of war...

The king returned.... We have been under siege for a week and morale is low. But suddenly the king came back and turned the tides of the battle within minutes!!! He is truly a wonderful ruler.

Wilson's POV

I knew my lord would return one day. On the 7th day of the siege I was about to lose hope as the enemy had superior numbers but our lord came to rescue us like a knight in shining armor.. he looked so dreamy...

It was similar to how he picked me up from the streets when i was just a wild werewolf. But he saved me from my misery. I fell in love with him when he found a way for me to transform without going berserk.

I fell even deeper in love with him when i saw him flying in the sky and taking care of the enemy.

I'm scared of telling him my feelings in fear of rejection and that he would cast me away...

'Grumbles.... Well anyway I have a question I want to ask you.

How come you don't talk to any of the other gods throughout this universe and don't create any new worlds if you are so much stronger than the younger gods?'

I am the second generation of immortal deities. You humans forgot about the Elders, that was what we called our parents. Humans got all of their facts mixed up because they die too quickly. What they believe happened in a hundred years actually happened in probably 100,000 years.

Also us older deities never really played well with each other so stayed out of each others way. The newer generations thinks of owning planets as a game and tries to get as many followers as possible. I think it's quite boring.

I have created several hundred worlds. I have gotten bored of creating them.

I decided to let the enemy soldiers rest here for a bit before going to kill their lords. I was pretty tired from the dungeon and I wanted to chill and relax.

I was walking in the hall on my way to the dining room for breakfast...

"Would you like to go with me?"-Ran

"I would be delighted to accompany you madam."-Wilson

*giggle*-Ran

'WTF Ran... are... you.... flirting.... with Wilson!!???'

'How come... you never giggle with me....???!!!'

I was hiding behind the door as Ran and Wilson left.

"H-h-h-h-holy SHIT!!! What the hell!!! I have to follow them."-Me

'hehehe... it's not like i'm jealous or anything.... I just want to make sure that Wilson doesn't do anything umm.... to take advantage of Ran... She is still young and probably doesn't know much about the world after all... hehehe.... yeah I'm going to take care of her...'

I quickly disguised myself and went after them

Ran and Wilson were walking together and I saw them smile and laugh. For some reason my chest started feeling tight when I saw Ran laughing together with Wilson...

They were just buying groceries and miscellaneous objects. I saw Ran look at something for a while but Wilson called out to her and they left.

Hehehehe.... foolish Wilson, you know nothing of a woman's heart...

I went over to the merchant and asked him what Ran was looking at.

It was a golden necklace that looked pretty and had diamonds embedded in it.

I bought the necklace for 100 gold.. That stupid merchant probably ripped me off but i was in a hurry.

Sigh... I lost them... stupid merchant... I'll get you back for this....

"My lord is that you?"-???

I turned around and saw that it was one of my pretty blonde maids. (the one with the student brother and soldier dad)

"Umm.. ehehehe yea.... I'm in disguise right now cause I'm looking around the market."-me

"Wow. You must really care about your people to go and check that nothing is wrong. You are truly a great and benevolent ruler."-Maid

"Um... yeah... thanks."-Me

"Do you mind if I join you?"-Maid

"Huh? Oh. Sure."-Me

She smiled as she hugged my arm and dragged me to different shops as she gazed at all of the fine jewelry and expensive silk clothing.

'Hmm... looks like my merchants are doing pretty well.'

I bought her earrings and she looked ecstatic at my gift and she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Heh well at least it was kinda worth 20 gold coins.

With a long day of walking around with a girl I was pretty tired and went back.

Ran POV

I was shopping around with Wilson and saw Regis.

He was with one of the maids from the palace. He bought her a pair of earrings.

He never bought me anything before....

And what is with that disguise?? It's terrible. Everyone is staring at him!!

Hmph... all he does is flirt with pretty girls...

Hmm... I still have to find out the perfect timing to give Ran her gift. Oh well.. I guess I'll think about it later. I'm pretty busy after all.

I decided to experiment with my new powers today and screw around.

Today I gathered all of the prisoners of war and told them that I was sending them back home but that I was going with them.

I made sure we had plenty of food and we set off to the city of the lord that plotted to destroy me.
