Day 1,438

I am now a warlord. There are so many things that I have to do I kind of regret taking up this gig. There are so many things that I have to do. I wonder if I should have the people fear me or love me...

I don't know how the hell I'm gonna rule. I'm at least going to set up the basics in this city.

First we need a strong military force so that this city can at least protect itself. Then I need to make sure it has a strong economy so I will need merchants and traders. I also need something to make this city special.... probably a monument or some special good that this city can sell.

I need to find specialists like blacksmiths or bakers as well. Hmm.... Maybe I should teach these peasants some magic.

Hmm.... a magic city..... magic=wonders=curious people=tourists=more money....

This is something I need to work on...

I levitate into the air about 50 feet so that everyone can see me.

About 6,000 people came to the town square about 1,000 were former slaves. There were no other races... Sigh.. how unfortunate...

"Okay everyone this here is Hanson, Harken, Ptolemy and Ran. They will be teaching you how to fight like real men unlike the pussies you are. Hanson will be teaching you hand to hand combat. Harken will be teaching archery, Ptolemy will be teaching you the dagger and Ran will be teaching you the way of the sword. You will be trained by them for 3 months and then you will be assigned stations along the city walls.

After you become full fledged soldiers you will have to report to training at least once a week. Your payment will be decided accordingly and your rank will be determined on your individual traits.

Hanson led them and they went to become real men and women.

I asked my friends to train them harshly. Huehuehue they will regret signing up for the military.

I created training weapons using earth magic. I made them pretty heavy so that they get stronger... Hmm... I need blacksmiths now....

I asked the slaves what they wanted to do....

Because they have never been asked that many of them didn't know what to do. Eventually some of them wanted to become soldiers and protect this town. Others wanted to earn money by specializing in things. So I called over the people that had special skills.

I went back up to the sky.

"ANYONE WHO SPECIALIZES IN A JOB SUCH AS BLACKSMITHING OR CARPENTRY COME TO THE TOWN SQUARE."-Me

Around 100 people arrived. There are 20 blacksmiths, 40 carpenters, 30 bakers, and 10 tailors.

I spread them around evenly around town to make everyone happy. I sent the slaves that wanted to work for them to the person for the job that they wanted to do and sent the others to the barracks.

Next I called up the farmers. We went outside the city walls and I created new farmland for them. I taught them the crop rotation technique. Sigh... these farmers don't know shit....

They were skeptical of my new idea but since I was their new lord they had no choice but to follow.

They currently only had 4 types of plants. Potatoes, cabbage, carrots and corn. Hopefully by next year the crops will be fruitful.

Next I called up the sailors and merchants. We are going to need trade to keep improve the economy.

We currently had 10 ships on the dock including mine. There were around 40 merchants. I gave each merchant 500 gold and a handful of gems. I told them to go around the world and trade with people and bring back goods to sell back to this city. I told the sailors to protect them and take them wherever they wanted.

I put a mark on each of the merchants and sailors. There were about 150 sailors. I told them that this mark will kill them if they ever betray me. They all blanched and i was satisfied. I told them to prepare for their trip and that they leave tomorrow. I told them to come back in 5 months if they could. I just told the fisherman to catch fish and sell to the people for food.

I want to create a monument that will inspire people all around the world. So called the sculptors and artists to the town square.

I ordered them to create a huge monument that will become the symbol of this city. I tell them to create a giant statue of someone i don't care who. I want it to look like the statue of liberty. I will be funding their project. I then call people to work in the mine to get the materials to create the statue.

There were about 200 people. I told them that I would pay them 10 silver a week. They eyes were filled with greed as they heard that amount.

10 silver is quite a lot for peasants so I am giving them quite a bargain cause I'm a nice guy.

Hmm.... now I need to gather the mages and adventurers... if there are any.

I call them over. There are about 20 adventurers and 1 wizard in this town.... Wow.... this sucks...

I ask them what they want to do and half of them just want to keep on adventuring and the rest want to join my army. I let them do what they want but I tell them to spar with Ptolemy before they join.

I ask them what happened to the adventurer's guild and they told me that this city doesn't have one. The adventurers guild was not really affected by the multiple wars in fact they got a lot more business.

Hmm... I need to make an adventurers guild here somehow...

I talk to the wizard and ask him why he is the only magic user around. He replies that many mages are wanted by different warlords. He was the only mage for this warlord because he was one of the weakest ones. I tell him to do whatever he wanted and that I will call him later on.

Now.. I don't really know what to do for the women and children. I guess I'll just create some parks for the kids.

Ran POV

Things are happening so quickly I'm kind of confused....

First Regis becomes king, then he takes over the town, and then he tells us to train the people into soldiers... What in the world is he planning to do?

He's changed a lot ever since we got off the dragon island. I don't think he's noticed but he grew a lot. I think he is a little over 6 foot now. His voice got a little deeper... more powerful... and he's gained some more muscle.

I hope he doesn't do anything dangerous. I don't want to get into a dangerous situation like with the dragons again.

Astlan and Chrom(the dragons) are growing up nicely. It's been about 2 months and they are about 5 feet tall now and about 200 lbs and they can fly. They eat a lot of meat. They can't breathe fire yet. I wonder when they will be big enough to ride. I usually play with them and train them everyday and have a lot of fun. They are Astlan(red dragon) is very aggressive against new people he meets but Chrom(green dragon) just ignores them. I had to yell at Astlan not to hurt the new soldiers. The soldiers were very afraid of my friends... It made me feel bad.

I had to teach the soldiers the way of the sword. Most of them were veterans of war so they knew what to do but they were all weaker than me.

Hanson and Ptolemy are teachers from hell. I feel bad for the new recruits.

Day 1,439

Regis POV

I woke up in my king sized bed and realized that I didn't create schools for the children. I'm assuming that not all people can read. I'm gonna have to change that.

I go outside to the town square and call out all of the scholars and the mage from yesterday.

There were only 3 scholars... Sigh....

They came and I told them of my plan.

"Okay. I am going to create a school to teach the children from ages 5-16. But I will only be taking children from 13 and under because it will be too late for the older kids."-Me

"But there are too many children for us to teach all of them!!"-Scholar 1

"Yes how do you expect us to teach thousands of children that do not know anything?"-Scholar 2

"You expect me to teach little brats magic???!!!"-Mage

They stopped complaining after I released some killing intent and I saw sweat on their foreheads.

"I am expecting you to teach them to raise these children to be smarter and so that the next generation and the next will be able to think for themselves."-Me

"Now I will be telling you what to teach and your pay will be 2 gold a month."-Me

They seemed happy about that.

I gave one teacher the job of teaching the kids how to read and write (to make things simple let's just say that the language is english). I gave another to teach the children math and the other one the job of teaching them history and science. I told him to teach them history first and then science after he covers all of the history.

"Okay, now I want you to teach the kids that only have potential with magic. First send the kids that have the potential for magic first, because I don't want stupid bullies learning magic to hurt the weak."-Me

"Okay but how do you expect to me find the kids with potential?"-Wizard

"Hmm.... Okay never mind I will be the one to determine whether the kids have potential in magic or not. You just teach them magic."-Me

He agreed to that and set off to prepare to teach the children.

First i had to create a school.. Hmm...

I made it big cause i didn't know how many kids would actually show up. I also plan on teaching the kids how to fight so I can have more slav.... soldiers.

I need to ask Hanson to teach the kids hand to hand combat also. Maybe I should teach them as well... Huehuehue

Maybe I should ask Harken and Ran to teach the kids some magic...

Merchant POV

This new king is... awe inspiring? I don't know... He seems like a benevolent man but he did murder the former king.

He gave us so much money. I have never seen this much in my entire life as a merchant. After the conflict between nobles after the king died there was so much chaos.

I quite nearly crapped myself after he released his killing intent. I plan on going to the demon continent. I heard there are lots of valuable goods I can buy there. He said to be back by 5 months and it takes about 2 months to get there so I should have about a month to trade and buy goods and come back.

I hope the other guys don't follow me and our group. I have 3 other merchants on the boat with me and I thought of the idea to go to the demon continent and they all agreed.

I wonder if I can somehow gain the new king's favor and get more money...

Former slave POV

I am no longer a slave.... I was born a slave and I am now 12 years old.... words cannot express my gratitude for the new king. I was simply in awe of his powers of completely renovating the entire city.

I plan to serve him for the rest of my life... I joined the army in hopes of being useful to him...

The training was worse than being a slave. The beast man is absolutely terrifying and the young man with white hair makes us run till all of us are puking.

The beautiful girl who seems to be about my age is the nicest out of all the instructors. On the first day of training a group of men tried to touch her in a sexual way...

She killed them all... The message was clearly sent to everyone not to do anything.

After that incident she trained us even harsher than the other two.

The dark elf just doesn't care about training us. He just tells us to shoot the bow and hit the target.

Girl POV

The new king is absolutely HAAAWWT!!! He has shining white hair and piercing golden eyes and I fell in love. Many of the younger girls have been talking about him.

We plan on going to him and ask to be his "maids".

Former soldier of the city POV

Sigh... first our king dies and some pretty boy becomes the new king...

He tells us to go to the barracks to get some "real" training from his so called friends.

Hmph... I have been a soldier for 10 years what can those brats teach me??!!!

I don't care if there is a beast man I bet I could kick his ass... or so I thought.

The former soldiers of this city quickly rebelled against the new instructors and were put down even quicker by them. They showed strength that we have never seen. The guys that rebelled were swiftly killed off and those that challenged them to a one on one fight lost and the instructors hardly broke a sweat.

I was one of them....

The training was hell.... Everyone was pouring sweat like blood and the instructors were smiling... Sadistic bastards....

We better be getting some good pay for this.

At lunch time the instructors actually cooked for us.... and it tasted pretty fucking good. Not even my wife can cook as well as them.

Harken POV

Training these maggots are pretty boring if you ask me...

sigh.... I wonder if I should just leave Regis and go back home... I miss my pets....

I love being in command! Watching the poor chaps run until they puke is quite fun!

It's probably gonna take maybe a week maybe more for one chapter cause I'm busy.
