《YOLO?》Chapter 30

Day 1,335
Today was me against the other remaining orc, Ran against Harken, and Ptolemy against the dwarf.
I was up first. This orc looked really similar to the orc I defeated yesterday except this guy was fat instead of muscular. It didn't really matter because I did the same thing to his orc comrade and sent him flying.
It was Ptolemy against the dwarf. The dwarf's name is Brorn.
When the bell rang for the match to begin Ptolemy rushed towards Brorn with great speed. Ptolemy swung his dagger at the dwarf's face and it went cleanly through him. I thought that the match was over but Ptolemy quickly jumped backwards and barely dodged as the axe was swung over his head.
Brorn casted illusion magic. Ptolemy was more cautious this time. He first through his dagger and ran towards the dwarf with his other dagger in hand. The dwarf blocked his dagger but was caught in surprise because he didn't expect Ptolemy to reach him so quickly.
Ptolemy was able to quickly get behind him and stabbed him in the back. It was another illusion. The dwarf was behind Ptolemy and slashed him with his axe. Ptolemy lost his match and was carried away by the healers.
Ptolemy was lucky that the dwarf didn't kill him.
Next was Ran's turn. She was up against Harken.
When the match started Ran used ice magic and sent spears of ice in Harkens way. He dodged gracefully but he was unable to dodge completely as he still got some cuts from the ice.
He then began shooting his arrows at Ran which she easily deflected with wind magic.
I guess she was getting kind of bored because she could now use magic in her fights and quickly just blew him away with wind magic and she won.

Day 1,336
Today was the final round. It is a one vs one vs one.
In other words a free for all. I was wary of the dwarf because he could use illusion magic and you never know if you were actually hitting him or not.
The bell rang for the fight to start and I quickly created 3 hell fire tornadoes. (hell fire= blue fire) Ran shielded herself with earth magic and I don't know where the dwarf went.
The crowd was lucky that there were barriers that protected them or they would have all melted to death.
I stopped the spell and Ran attacked me with a barrage of lightning magic.
I shielded myself with water magic and the dwarf appeared next to Ran as she was concentrating on me and knocked her out.
Frankly I was quite pissed off. I used wind magic to send her to the healers so that I don't get her hurt with my magic.
I used lightning shower. A spell that I made up a few days ago. I had no idea if I was hitting him or not.
Apparently not because the dwarf somehow got next to me and swung his axe. Luckily I brought my glaive to this battle because I thought that I would be fighting against Ran.
I blocked with my glaive and the dwarf disappeared again. I used wind magic to fly about 10 ft into the air.
I created a light earthquake( this cost a lot of mana... I had about 1/5 of the my mana now). The dwarf lost concentration and I found him stumbling to the ground. I quickly used quicksand and trapped him.
I got behind him and knocked him out.
I was the winner.
It turns out that the dwarf wasn't a dwarf.

The crowd gasped in shock.
"ADRIAN!!!!!!!!"-Demon Female
I turned to where the scream came from. It was from a beautiful woman of the demon race. She had big breasts and horns on her head and a tail.( she was pretty sexy in a kinky way)
I found out that I just knocked out the demon prince.
I was sent to the royal demon palace and got a room and was told to wait there by the servants.
Apparently the demon king was gonna meet with me after he sorts out the mess with his son.
Sigh... what's gonna happen to me now? I just knocked out a fucking prince.... I still have my collar... I'm fucked...

I'm still sick.

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice. Ruins of Dalághast
I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but I'd always been torn between different projects. Within, though, they find much more than they ever expected and find themselves in a race against time to unravel a mystery centuries old.
