Day 2

We woke up early in the morning before the sun rose. The master gave us a small waterskin and 5 loaves of bread to each of us. (What a cheap bastard.) It is supposed to take us 4 days walk to get to get Red Sox and I'm wondering how we're supposed to ration out our food.

He hands the five of us a spear and a round wooden shield. The spear was about 8 feet and 5 pounds, the shield was 24 inches in width and about 10 pounds. And without further ado we headed west towards the city. It was pretty have to me as I still had the body of a child.

'Why the hell is this bitch sending a child off into war?'

When we were finally out of sight from the mansion I asked Jack

"Why don't we take these collars off and escape?"-Me

"Did you forget that the collar is magically enchanted and will explode with we try to take it off?" - Jack

'Hmm.. so there is magic in this world... I wonder if I can learn it somehow.

I ask Jack various questions about this world and what is happening. Jack doesn't know much because he is a slave and was sold as a child because of his parent's debt.

I learned that there are many races and species living in this world the kingdom of The Republic is the eastern most country and had the sea on it's coast. The Kingdom of Democracy is right to the west of us and is stronger than us militarily and has very good relations with the elves in to our north who reside in the Great Forest. There is also a rumor that the Democrats got the assistance of the elves so they can finish this war because it has been going on for so long.

Far west past the Democrats is a desert that is hundreds of miles wide and many merchants and caravans die each year trying to get to the mountains where the dwarves live. They are attacked by bandits and various giant desert monsters.

To the south of the Democrat kingdom is the Beastman Kingdom. There are various types of beastmen lions, wolves, tigers, rabbits, alligators, sharks, snakes,and etc. There is the Breor Ocean to the south of the Beastman lands and in that ocean there is the dragon islands. As the name states dragons reside there and only 3 people have lived to tell the tales of that island. Dragons are magical from the points of their fangs to the tip of their tails, they are possibly the most dangerous creatures in the world. Dragons are immortal unless killed in battle. There is said to be a couple of dragons over 10,000 years old and they are as powerful as the gods.

There is another continent to the south of the Dragon islands. It is called the Wastelands. There are many demons and monsters that reside there and that the Demon Lord is a barbaric ruler. That continent is full of raw materials such as gold, silver, and rare gems, so the Demon Lord is probably the richest man in the world.

We take a break as it is now about midday and we have some lunch. I spot something green behind the small boulder next to the road and see a green slime creature. I almost laugh because it looks exactly like the slime from M*plestory but I get hit by it and get sent sprawling into the ground.

I cough up some blood as it hit my ribs and I yell out in pain. I quickly get up and was barely able to dodge as it jumped to pound me again. I balance myself and stab the the god forsaken monster. I stab it multiple times with my spear in fear and it just dissolved and left 3 copper coins and a slimy ball.

The other guys came to me to see what happened and laughed at me for almost dying by a slime which is the weakest monster there is. I quickly pick up the dropped loot and we set off again.
