"Sara, I think you need to be prepared, they are coming. You should and activate the defence barrier surrounding all of [Frxye], before it's too late."

"Y-yes I understand."

Sara leads the elders looking a bit pale to the basement of the castle. In the basement where Sara and the elders are going, there is the formation of defence barrier which can only be activated by them. I found that after I detected [Demester] race on [Map] as I was searching for a countermeasure against them.

"Dusk and Pixy, you go and alert others, tell them not to go outside the barrier, and if there are any problems you can call me. Nemilin you should give orders to the Guardian fairies for the coming battle, and come back here after you are done."

Right now this should be enough, I'll have to see what can fairies do after their defeat by [Demester] race. And with the support of hotspring.

"Rin what would you like to do, I'll just sit and watch for now and if problem arises I'll help them."

"I'll stay here with you."

"Ok. Zeal, you will go with the guardian fairies and support them from rear, and don't use your full power it will only incease troubles."

There are total of thousand enemies mixing both Zou and Kazzou which is around 700 and 300. Kazzou which are human like are low in numbers as for Zou they are high in numbers, but even if the numbers' of Kazzou are low they are higher in prowess and standing than Zou in their race, so going against them will a problem for fairies who aren't much strong in combat. I chose Zeal for that reason.

Sara comes back together with elders after activating defensive barrier which can be seen from the windows of castle. The barrier is covering [Frxe] like a dome with every pieces forming and combining in the air. It also looks strong.

"Saito-san we have activated the barrier and I think we can perform better than before, not being able to defend our people as they got injured and killed before our eyes... This time for sure we can do both! And it's all thanks to you. Thank you."

Sara looks determined, and I'm looking forward to it, I want to see the strength of the fairies I made a [Pact] with. While I was thinking that, Pixy, Dusk and Nemilin also returns after completing their jobs.

"Master we have alerted the residends of [Frxye] to evacuate inside the barrier and also told them the reason for it... Many of them were scared but still some said they will join and fight with us, it's the only way they can overcome their emotions I think..."

"Now can they only become free! And now they are beginning to understand... Why weren't they like that when I told them, hmph!"

"It's good, don't you think. They are beginning to change their way of thinking and It may also help in the development of our race."

Dusk said that to me looking a bit lost. Maybe she is worried about them, their lives will be on the line if they were to join the fight after all. Pixy gave her complaint as she pouted after saying those words. You must have also have it hard when they didn't understand you huh. Nemilin also, in her Queen mode gave her pointers, I think?

Seeing her say that everyone around this place gave Nemilin a look.

"Wh-what! Why are you looking at me like this... Did I say something wrong?!"

Nemilin becomes flustered seeing everone look at her, looking around everyone with same look she then looks at me. I can only smile at her actions, after all her Queen mode just upped and disappeared making her look like a clown. Pixy being unable to hold laughs, after, Sara and Dusk also couldn't hold it any longer and spilled their mouths open.

I can only say... What they are doing is only making others to burst out as I can see some elders beating and cursing other elders to hold thier own with red faces, conveying they would not give up. And as for us, I mean Rin, Zeal and me. We aren't affected by it at all. Atleast for now.

"Sa-Saito...! They are all laughing at m-me?! Did I say something wrong? They are bullying me, why...?"

Nemilin jumps at my chest, complaining with her teary eyes as she looks up at me. It somehow became lighter, I can tell by seeing the faces of fairies around me. The Queen did her job well even if it wasn't her intention but it will help them face the danger they are about to face.

"Don't worry about it, they are just happy to see their Queen is energetic and is thinking about improvements even at this situation. So you should support them from behind as their Queen, don't you think? They will become more happy seeing you fight alongside them."

"Re-really?!"

"Yes, they sure will."

She smiles hearing me say that. I patted her head with my forefinger as her face burns up. Seeing her in that state I became puzzled as I glance towards Dusk, Pixy and Sara. They didn't show much reaction except that Dusk cheeks were red and Pixy and Sara were all smiles. Nothing was wrong as I can see from their action.

Nemilin settled on my right shoulder with happy face. I don't know whats going so I can only scratch my cheeks and check [Map], searching the distance between the barrier and the incoming attack.

Outside the castle, sounds of metallic clang! can be heard. Beasts and human like creatures are attacking the barrier with magics and brute strength, surrounding the barrier with their full force. Sounds produced by the attacks echoes throughout the surroundings scaring the fairies to grip their weapons tightly, eyes staring at the bizzare attacks of beast and human like creatures they resolve themselves.

"Alright! Everyone use wind magic Wind Smasher."

Hearing the voice of their Commander of the Guardian fairies, they began to chant, spirits around them began to help circulation mana towards them. Wind around them began to produce shockwaves, after the chanting was finished they released their attack.

Voices of many fairies overlapped as the voilent wind smashed directly at the beasts outside the barrier.

Voice of explosion and voices of many beasts that were hurt or blasted into pieces were heard. Seeing the beasts getting killed by their attacks fairies began to get excited and launched Wind Smasher one after another killing at least 120 0f them.

As Zou and Kazzou were getting killed, I'm watching things out faraway from the battle on top of the castle with Rin and others.

"It looks like they are doing well for now."

Words leak out from my mouth. I look at my side towards Sara who is floating by my side.

"What do you think? How long will they be able to hold out?"

"I don't know... Last time we were doing nothing but trying to flee for our lives, and at that time barrier was not active."

Sara said that looking nervous. She might be thinking what will happen if the barrier is broken, after all it all depends on it without the barrier they won't be able to fight properly with chants.

Fairies can use magic without chants but it won't be stronger than the one we are seeing right now. Chanting magic call upon the spirits for help in mana circulation but it's a bit different than [Spirit] magic. [Spirit] magic when used not only call the spirit for help but it also nullifies abnormal condition and strikes up the defence of the user. It really is of great use isn't it.

"Zeal must be bored being left out in the battle."

I turn my eyes towards Zeal who is only watching the battle sitting on ground with 'ready to battle' face. But all he can do for now is look nothing more until the barrier collapses.

"Haha he looks bored and restless somehow. He must me itching to fight with them. Was he always like this? Rin."

"Yeah he was, ever since he got beaten by me in tournament matches."

She must have beaten him pretty hard to make him like this, he is totally like a beast ready to jump at his pray.

"How many matches did he win against you?"

"Maybe.. None of out 805 matches."

Hm.. He is pretty good to have endured losing in these many, so I can understand why he looks like this. I think I should train him after I can get the feeling of battle on my journey, I beat him up and up and up until he gets the hang of it.

As I was thinking that the battle going on between the barrier is starting to take a shape, with the creaking sound of barrier as It can no lomger hold attacks of Zou and Kazzou attacks.

The barrier shielding fairies from the attacks began to crack with the bizzare attacks of beasts and human like creatures. Watching the barrier crack fairies began to sweat as they speed up their chants and fire Wind Smasher, Fire Blast, Water Explosion and many other attacks, smashing, blasting and turning them into pieces.

The barrier breaks leaving the unprepared fairies to use weapons to attack them, together forming a team of 10 they began to strike the beasts with their spears and swords they pierce the shoulders and gouge the eyes of beasts, and lastly using Fire Blast blasting their numbers. Every group of fairies used the same tactic to attack them. But because of using magic from the start they are exhausted, their attacks began to slow down and beasts and human like creature began to assault.

Dashing at high speed with ligtning covering their body, the beasts claws cuts through the air slashing at the fairies around one after another. Being unable to dodge, fairies use their weapons to shield themselves, blowing them away. Some of the human like creature using ligtning magic thrasing the fairies around, and some are using meele attacks blowing the fairies surrounding them one after another.

The battle between both races is getting bloddy but on part of the Fairy race no one is dead, except the injured are too many.

The commander of the Guardian fairies is slashing her sword around giving heavy injuries to the beasts with her hit-and-run tactic. Looking for chances to slash her sword at her enemies, she takes a stance readying her sword, and attacks them at the blind spot of her enemies. The sound of her sword clashing with her enemies body is heard as her sword shines with every attack she makes. Running at the speed faster than her enemies, she heavily injured them weakening thier state.

Fairies around her are burning with excitement watching her feats, which can also be called a character worthy of being a hero, they extend their weapon carrying the will of hers and joins the battle with exhaustion present in their faces, with a loud shout.

Covering backs of each other fairies began their adventurer to find peace.

It's getting interesting.

I'm impressed seeing how they are holding up after all that. And the female fairy looks really good at handling swords, her speed is also impressive. Having short dark-grey hair reaching till her shoulder with purple eyes, her body is slender with curves. The light armor she is wearing gives quiet an impact.

And I know who she is her name is Noa, student of Sara, also a candidate picked by Sara to replace herself from the seat of elder. I haven't asked Sara about it I just found her right now seeing through her status.

"Something interesting is going on out there."

I said it showing a bit of curiosity in my face.

"Sara do you know her, the girl with dark-grey hair slashing with speed faster than others, she looks trained pretty well in it."

"Yes I know her, she is my student Noa."

Sara gives her reply with a smile showing her pride in it.

"You trained her well, she is able to handle her enemies well even after being surrounded by them. She seems pretty decisive in taking actions."

"I had to beat her up everyday to make her sword swing like that."

She said that with a amile but I'm sweat can be seen on my face seeing her smile.

"What happened Saito-san, staring at my face.. Is there aomething."

"N-no."

She is scary! Even Rin could not hold a candle to her as she also looks scared a bit.

And the course of battle is about to change.
