《Painting Horrors》Clash

It was night, the cold drafts blew into the poorly built apartment. Gabriel was sitting on a stained mattress that looked quite old, he could hear noises coming from the other apartments. Although he was in a bad living condition right now it didn't stop him from focusing on what was important, and that was how to eliminate the people the church sent after him. Although the situation was very tense Gabriel looked quite calm, like the events going on had nothing to do with him. He was waiting patiently like a spider waiting for a fly to get caught into his webs. Time crawled quite slowly, when a red mist squeezed under the wooden door. Gabriel smiled when he saw this, "How many people did they send after me?" Gabriel asked the red mist inquisitively and the mist transformed into the number 5. He frowned when he saw this, although he was confident he could fight 2 people at once he wasn't confident if there was 5 people together. As the red mist noticed his expression, it then transformed into a sentence. "Although there's 5 people they're split up right now, 2 of them are at the east, 1 of them is by their self at the north, and the last 2 is west." His expression was better when he heard this although common sense told him to get the person by their self he knew that the person must be quite confident of their strength to go alone. "Well, I guess I'll go see the people who are at the west as they're the closest to me anyways." As Gabriel decided on his action he jumped up from the bed and opened the creaking wooden door, his silhouette dissipated into the night.
"Ugh, we've been searching all night but we haven't found anything I hate being at the slum it's so gross." Rose complained as she rummaged through trash. "Don't complain Rose you know that the people living in this condition are unfortunate, I hope that they find some simple modesty in their life even though they're at rock bottom." Luke reprimanded Rose as he prayed for the well being of the people living in the slum.

"I get it, I get it, but why did we choose to go west anyways." Rose waved her petite hands in annoyance.
"We didn't choose to go west, you dragged me with you." Luke corrected rose as he walked around and searched everywhere.
Tap tap tap, a sound of calm walking interrupted their conservation, Rose stood back behind Luke and she took out the mysterious bottles from her robe while Luke took out his cross shaped sword and took a position that was ready for a fight. It was quite silence after they took position they waited and it was quite agonizing for them as time seemed to slow down. Clap clap clap, the sound of hands clapping interrupted the calm silence, and out came a young man who wore a black robe with a mask that was completely white, his body was revealed under the dim moonlight. "Hello people from the church of modesty, I wonder what caused you to go look for me this night?" The man in black robe with a white mask asked the duo, obviously the man with the white mask was Gabriel as he didn't want his identity to be revealed in case there was something that was monitoring him right now or they some how escaped. When the duo took a good look at the man in mask they frowned, the intel they got was he was heavily injured but looking at him right now he looked completely fine, and worse he seemed quite confident to be able to beat them. "Were you the one who took the siblings away from the parents?" Luke asked the man in white, although he knew the answer in his heart was doing this to buy time. "Oh them? Yes I did but they're here with me right now. Would you like to see them?" As they heard the man in white mask say that, a monster came out from the darkness. Their eyes shook as they saw the abomination, it looked like the description they got from the parents about what their children look like but they looked quite monstrous right now.

As Luke was preparing to engage with the monster in front of him a red blur came from behind him and a loud crash happened. Luke's eye shifted to where the noise came from, there was dust every where and out when the dust dissipated it revealed Rose's mangled body. The once cute looking little girl was hard to recognize now with her limbs twisted in awkward angles and her organs smashed every where. "Hehe who said I only had one." As he heard the mocking from the man in white mask, Luke finally felt fear and his back turned cold with sweat, but although he was scared he felt vengeful for the man who mercilessly killed Rose. "I swear I'll avenge her and kill you here monster." As Luke shouted and swore to the heaven he charged at Gabriel.
