In a certain room, a group of 6 people are gathered together, and they seems to be discussing about something important.
[Boss, there are rumors circulating around the soldiers that seems to be affecting our forces morale.]
[Damn those bastards, what are those rumors about?]
[They are talking about how embarrassing that our king, couldn’t even capture a weak little girl, and lost some of our rank B warriors in the process.]
[How dare they talk behind my back! Find out who is spreading that rumors and execute all those who are involved!]
[Your majesty, I suggest that we reconsider that decision and think it through. I suspect that there might be some unknown motive behind those rumors.]
[How dare you question the decision of our Boss! You are just a defected rank A warrior, you do not have the right to speak here!]
[Yeah, even without your help, we can even take over your weak little kingdom ourself!]
[Get out of here loser!]
[Tch!]
.
Ignis is a Rank A warrior that once serve in the kingdom of Miore. He is the only Rank A warrior in the kingdom, naturally he is appointed as the Royal Protector of the kingdom, which ensure the safety and continuation of the entire Kingdom. But his own vision for what a Kingdom is, is the opposite with what the Queen desires. He long for a kingdom that has unpaired military might, which spreads fear to the kingdoms around it, a Kingdom so powerful that can even rival the top few Nations in this continent.
He became so dissatisfied with the actions of the Queen which promotes peace and equality among commoners, that he defected to the neighboring kingdom when he hears that the neighboring kingdom planning to launch an invasion against his own kingdom.

He was openly welcomed when he just defected. He is even allowed in the meeting with the high rankings officials, which consists of all 4 rank A warriors in the kingdom and the king himself.
But shortly after the war ended, he has lost all respect among the council members. Even soldiers of a lower status won’t even greet him or look at him when he pass by.
[Why did they have to treat me like this! Im a Rank A warrior! I deserve a certain amount of respect! What did I do to diserve this... This must be that woman’s fault! Its all because of her that my reputation has gone down.. its because she is still alive.. why is she still alive, why did she escaped, she should’ve died during the war.. ]
.
[It seems that guy has leave the castle.]
[It is better for him to leave. Eventhough he may be a Rank A, but we never know when will he betray his master again. Speaking of his previous master, where do you think she is now? Still in Kouma Kingdom?]
[I bet that little girl is still hiding in that kingdom, and the queen of that kingdom should be sheltering her. Once we take over that kingdom, we can capture both of them together.]
[This coming battle will be the most difficult battle so far, but we can be certain of our victory. Once we conquer that kingdom, we will be the most powerful Kingdom in this vicinity. All the surrounding Kingdoms will fear of our strength.]
[Yes, a Kingdom only focusing on magic users won’t be able to survive for long. It will fall eventually.]
[And a special gift for them to divert their attention just in case the situation become difficult.]

[Nortem, make sure your subordinate does not fail this time. I had enough of their ridiculous reason on their last mission.]
[Understood..]
[O~hohoho, Nortem, your subordinates sure are pathetic. I’ve never heard of anyone get damaged by the enemy through their own “corpse control” skill, and you even lost 2 valuable undead soldiers armed with Mithril weapons. Are you sure that we won’t lose our large undead army to the same trick again? That will be a huge setback to our strategy.]
[You shouldn’t worry too much about my problems Silvia. Naturally, I have countermeasures against it. I won’t be fooled by the same move twice. Maybe You should be the one worried about countermeasures against your own forces..]
[O~hohoho, you shouldn’t worry too much about it. My forces are unbeatable. No matter what kind of tricks the enemy uses, my forces are immune to them.]
Nortem has the appearance of an old man in a long robe. Usually, people will mistake him as a skeleton wearing a robe, and attack him. Because of that, he don’t usually leave his chamber. All those who once tried to assassinate him, end up serving him instead, but only if they are all dead. He has his own army of undead, and a few other followers that he personally train.
Silvia on the other hand, is a haughty noblewoman. She is famous for her extremely high resistance to magic attack. Any kind of magic attack will have less effect on her. It is said that even a Rank S magician will be at a loss against her. She also has her own army, and followers that she personally train. Her squad will always be at the front line, when fighting against any magic users.
[Both of you, stop your nonsense. Both of your troops are the key to our victory against the Kingdom of Kouma. If anything went wrong, the blame will be on your head. Understood?]
[Yes~ , Yes..]

The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.

Alone in a vast expanse of knowledge and void of any previous memory what else was I to do but learn? The world above awaited me, but down here it was all I could do to read about it, prepare for it. How long would it take for me to see my first of the Learned Races, or encounter my first monster? To simply see a [City Guard] or a [Warrior] maybe even a [Mage], even then I'd be sated no matter how basic the Class. I wanted to witness what I read about, the fantastical [Secret Stache] of a [Treasure Hunter] or a [Pickpocket] using [Deft Hands]. These were natural occurrences above, but alas, I was below. And this deep down, I'd see my first horror before seeing any mere monster. My escape were the books but soon I'd turn that knowledge into a real escape, I'd emerge from this dear library and claw my way above. But I'd need to prepare myself, I just didn't know how yet. Sweet Minds
"No one can see it, some can feel it, and only the few can use it. We belong to the few." Marith Merryfield felt anything but merry that morning. She found herself waiting for a delayed train on a deserted platform, in the freezing cold of the Dutch autumn. Just when the strangeness is making her consider turning around and going back home an empty train rolls into the station. For reasons unclear to this day she decides to get onboard. An unlikely, and quite impossible, train accident is about to hurtle her into a world she had always suspected existed. It was a dark and absurd place she had rejected and suppressed when she was young. Now she would need that dormant part of herself to survive. After a brief hospitalization she must choose between two continents and finds herself reluctantly boarding a plane to Oregon to be reunited with her shadows. She returns to the town she grew up in, which is where her father still lives and her childhood memories linger. By the end of the week the mysterious train accident turns out to be the least of her problems. Her life was never supposed to become this serious this fast. Through an improbable and unfortunate series of events she is soon introduced to a motley crew of characters that appear to be carrying the same struggles through life. They possess a familiar sense of inadequacy and insecurity. Marith realizes that for the first time in her life she has found herself a tribe, or, as they prefer to call it, a Chain. She is introduced to a world of Prophets, Runners and Mages led by an Oracle and a Watchmaker. Over the course of several weeks Marith learns that, together with her Chain, she is expected to save this fabric of reality, by fighting a mysterious and immortal creature and his aggressive pet. In order to have a chance at overcoming this force of nature she has to revisit the darkest and most desolate corners of her mind. ***** The total word count of the first 12 chapters amounts to about 85.000 words. It is a story about a man who wanted to move on from living as he had done everything he wanted to ccomplish, but instead of meeting his end he became God of his own world, his own sandbox. See him build a pantheon out of nothing and experience many tales that bards would sing across the world for eons to come. Extra tags : Omnipotent character, God, immortals.
