Although Yuria is considered a Rank S, but she never had any combat experience before. During the demon war, she plays the role of Healer and Supporter. She always stayed at the back, away from where all the fighting takes place. When fighting monster, she also stayed behind while casting healing and support spells. After that every time when she meets an enemy, she has her own guards to take care off all of it for her. She always plays the supporting role and is being protected by her teammates.

Although her support and healing magic are at least Rank S, but her strength and offensive abilities are that of a Rank G.

But that’s not the reason why Yuria’s reaction towards the jelly life form is so exaggerated. That life form is called a Slime. Although a Slime is usually a Rank F monster, but it’s only applied to a bucket of water size. A Slime the size of a car is around Rank D or higher.

But that’s not the reason why Yuria’s reaction towards the Slime is so exaggerated either.

Slime is the natural enemy of women, just like a cockroach. The car sized slime is similar to a human sized cockroach in Yuria’s perspective. Moreover, a slime will trap its prey into his sticky liquid like substance and slowly dissolve its prey. Although human flesh takes a very long time to dissolve, and normally, people will eventually find a way to escape by then, without even leaving a scar on their body, but the body of the slime has high chemical reactions towards fabric, and it can dissolve fabric in an instant if it came into contact. That’s the reason why slime is a natural enemy of women.

Looking at the exaggerated reaction of Yuria, Raynor thought that the slime is a very dangerous monster. Immediately, he picked up a large piece of rock and throws it at the direction of the slime to test its strength. The rock easily went through the body of the slime, and knock down few trees behind it, and finally came to a stop.

Raynor curiously looks at the hole on the body of the slime made by the rock he throws, and he noticed that the hole is slowly covering up. He also found out that the body of the slime has become smaller. Suddenly, the slime leaps towards him and stretches all of its body out like a net, covering a large area. The slime’s action took Raynor off guard.

But that alone is not enough to take down Raynor. The moment the slime closes its distance between them, Raynor raises both of his hands which he has equipped with his powered armor towards the slime. If a life form made out of liquid is hard to kill using physical method, then what if he scatters the liquid, can that life form still survive? Raynor thought, and he came up with a plan and launch his next attack.

A violent shock wave was released from the palm of his powered armor towards the slime, while also shattering the surrounding trees. The shock wave has acted as a barrier and prevented the slime from advancing any further. Moreover, the body of the slime begin to disintegrate from the force of the shock wave. After few moments, what’s left of the slime is only a green colored crystal that dropped on the ground.

He picked up the green crystal and curiously examines it. After getting nothing from it, he hands it over to Yuria and asked her about it.

From what he gets from Yuria’s explanation, he concluded that the crystal is something similar to a battery. It can help to power daily appliances, like lamp, stove and such stuffs, to creating weapons for war, and also to help people in magic training. It is basically an important source of natural energy for the civilization of this world. And it can be found from defeating monster and mining for it. The stronger the monster, the bigger the magic crystal that is in the body of the monster. The bigger the crystal is, the more magic energy is stored inside the crystal, and the pureness of the energy is much higher.

Although if you mine deep into the earth, you can easily find large magic crystal, but the deeper you go, the more dangerous it becomes.

There is something called a Dungeon in this world. It is similar to a cave system, but it is infested with many dangerous monsters. And the deeper you go, the stronger the monster gets. A dungeon is very common and can be found in many places around the world. There are also many new dungeons being discovered.

People like to explore a dungeon, because not only they produce rare materials and resource, there are also many hidden treasures waiting to be found. There are also sites of ancient ruins and cities discovered in certain dungeons, and it contains large amounts of treasures, ancient weapons and lost knowledge.

A dungeon is basically a Gold Mine for a kingdom. It can improve a kingdom’s economic and military’s power.

Although there are many dungeons around, and many people going in and out each day, but not even one of the dungeons that has been completely explored. There is always a path that leads deeper whenever a dungeon is thought to be completely explored. And the deeper a dungeon goes, the harder it is to be explored. Even a rank S will find it difficult to advance.

There are also rumors told by explorers that all dungeons are connected and at the lowest level, one can obtain power to be immortal. There are also rumors that there exist the most powerful monsters, and also ancient subterranean people that is still alive down there..

Raynor pondered upon that statement..

(What type of living things could exist down there, deep inside the planet’s core where the high pressure and heat of the planet that can turn rocks into molten form?)

Raynor begins to think about hollow earth theory, where the core of the planet is empty and the interior of the planet has its own sea, land and ecosystem. Since this is another world, scientific impossibility may be possible..

While Raynor’s still having his delusions, Yuria already went to sleep, because it is already late night.

The next day, they continue their journey early in the morning.

They maintain their pace for around 2 days. Traveling during day time, and rest during nighttime.

They also met with few other monsters. A total of 3 Slime, 7 Mountain Wolves that comes in a pack, a Crimson Spider, 5 Goblins, and 3 Orcs. All of it does not hesitate to attack them and is killed by Raynor. They now have in possession of 4 Green Crystal, 1 Red Crystal, and 8 Clear Crystal.

Magic Crystal also has its own attributes. 7 different colored crystals for each magic attributes, and also a clear crystal for non-elemental attributes.

Raynor also used the crystals to train his magic perception when he has nothing to do during the entire journey. But it has not much affect compare to the first time. He also noticed that the changes towards his body has stopped. He has no idea whether the changes within his body, is good or bad. He can only do a full body scan to gather the information within his body. Unfortunately, currently he dosen’t have the suitable equipment to conduct a body scan.

He plans to find and gather all the necessary materials requires to build his equipment in the city that they are heading. He also need a place to work on his equipment, like the laboratory he has back on earth.

After the long journey, they have already arrived at the edge of the forest.
