Previously, while the group of soldiers escorting Yuria through the forest to reach the next kingdom, few soldiers at the back of the formation suddenly lost their heads. The rest that are still alive stunned at the situation, the blood of the dead soldiers sprayed around, and when the sound of their body fall to the ground, it make the rest came back to their senses.

[Enemy attack! Prepare for battle!]

The shout lead the rest to draw out their swords and quickly move into formation while shielding Yuria and her 2 guards in at the middle. The rest of the soldiers form a circle while facing outwards while detecting the enemy’s location.

All they detected are a total of 10 enemies surrounding them on different direction. Each and every one of them are many times stronger than their well-trained soldiers. 10 enemies consist of 8 assassin class and 2 warrior class. Their enemy clearly wants to exterminate them.

[Shit, we are clearly outmatched.]

One of Yuria’s guard who is called Robert said with a troubled expression. The other one who is called Sebastian have a more calmer expression said,

[We just have to get past them and continue towards our destination as fast as we can!]

While he decided to outrun from the enemy, the enemy already rushed into the formation of soldiers and killed few people. But the formation defence is also not weak, it cause the enemies to have a hard time killing the soldiers, but its only a matter of time before the formation break.

[All units, do everything to contain the enemy! All Hail Queen Yuria!]

All the soldiers shouts in unison after the guard Sebastion gave the command to the soldiers, and suddenly the aura surrounding the soldiers increase tremendously, and even their fighting spirit and power increase many times. They have used a secret technique that increases their attacking power beyond their capability for a short amount of time at the cost of their life. The soldiers have determined to sacrifice everything in order to contain or to kill their enemies for the sake of their queen.

After that every soldiers break free from their formation and charge towards the enemies, while opening an escape road for their queen and her guards to escape.

Using the opening chance, Robert and Sebastian grab Yuria, each rode a horse, and escape quickly.

The enemies wanted to chase after them but couldn’t, because they hardly can manage themselves with so many people surrounding them while fighting like a mad lion.

Leaving the soldiers that are occupying the enemies behind, the party of 3 people continue riding foward as fast as they can. Suddenly, they felt 2 presence pursuing them from behind and they are getting even closer.

[Shit, they shouldn’t have escape from our soldiers by now, it must be extra 2 enemies that are hiding while waiting for a chance to kill us!]

Robert said while forcing the horse to run even faster.

After a short while, even with the horse full speed, the 2 pursuers still maintaining their distance and drawing even closer.

[Your Highness,... .. ...you must survive and lead a better life..]

Suddenly Sebastian turn to Yuria and said something with a serious expression.

[What.. are.. you.. ]

Yuria turn a pale expression, not sure why did he suddenly say stuff like this.

[We believe that your highness will be able to survive this hardship because of the oracle, but we must also do our part to contain the enemy.

We hope that your highness will be able to live a better life without us, and to encounter your awaited person.]

After that, Robert and Sebastian jump down from the horse and dash towards the location of the pursuers, while leaving Yuria on her horse that is still moving foward.

Yuria looking at the the spot where her 2 guards vanished, without even having a chance to stop them or saying goodbye. Tears fall from her eyes for she has been left alone to flee by everyone. Everyone sacrifice their life for her and leave her alone to survive because of an oracle that she is not sure is it true or is it even about her.

The oracle first appear few years after the demon war said,

(When crisis emerge from the North and South, Under the earth, and other realm, the Goddess of Healing with her Fateful encounter and their followers will be the hope for mankind’s survival.)

Yuria dosen’t even consider herself as a goddess, how will she be able to save humanity, when she can’t even save herself and her citizens. Despite how she show her boldness in front of her citizens, she is actually timid and very scared inside. She dosen’t want to end up dying while still telling her citizen that she would die with them.

Yuria has hated the oracle and hating it even more now that it left her alone and cost her the life of her citizens.

At least she is not all alone, she still have the horse that she is still riding.

While still moving forward with her horse, suddenly, a large object came flying from the back and smash into the ground, causing the horse to stumble. As a result, causing Yuria to fall from the horse and rolled off few meters away.

The fall has cause her injuries and bone fracture all over. Despite the injuries, she still tried to get up and escape because of her fear of being killed.

[Eh? A human?]

Suddenly she heard a voice just directly in front of her.

She immediately look up frightened as she feared the enemy has reach her.

What she saw was a young man.

A young man around the age of early twenties, with tattered clothes and strange armor. A helm that does not cover the head entirely, with a transparent material covering the eyes, a bulky gauntlet that is not suitable for hand movement, with one hand holding a large cylinder shaped metal object and the other hand holding a half eaten mushroom..

While she has doubts that this young man is one of the pursuer or not, another 4 older man with weapon on their hands came from the path behind her and stopped while looking at the both of them curiously.
