Early in the morning, the group of people that escape from the city started packing their stuff after resting for a night in the jungle when they have traveled a distance from the city. But none of them could rest properly. They take turns for nightwatch, they didn’t even start any fire to prevent enemy dectection. Every soldier that they bring along is highly trained in covert mission so that they may hide from the enemy and not leave any trace to follow.

The only female in the group, which is their queen also didn’t have a proper rest. She had hope that everything that happened till now is only just a dream, and that she could wake up anytime soon. But she know that she can’t wish for the impossible, she hope that they will reach the next kingdom beyond this forest soon and the leader of that kingdom will take them in.

The leader of that kingdom is also once a friend of hers, and is also a hero who slain the demon king many years ago.

225 years ago, a demon king appear in the demon territory. Soon after that the demons started to invade the land of humans in order to sieze the land and plunder their resources and to enslaved people. Then the war started between the 2 races. But the demons were stronger than the humans and the humans were force to retreat.

After 15 years of war when humans were on the brink of extinction, 15 heroes were chosen and they started to lead the humans into victory after victory. Their powers grow stronger after every battle and the humans have finally taken back all of their lands.

After 70 years since the heroes first appear, the heroes have finally slain the demon king and force the demons back to their land where they came from, which is the furthest north where the cold wind can even break a normal human’s bone. After that, the humans never see any demons again.

Nobody knows where the few heroes came from, even the heroes themself can’t even remember clearly where they came from. When the heroes first appear they were just a 15 year old brat, and 70 years have past since then. If a person can’t remember their hometown when they were a child 70 years ago, nobody will suspect anything.

After the war ended, humans need to start developing again. Many nations were formed, as many as a hundred nations scattred across the world. 10 of the nations were ruled by the heroes, the remaining 5 heroes no one has ever seen them again.

The 10 heroes who each ruled 10 different nations has different governing system. There were 6 male and 4 female hero rulers. The heroes who never tasted luxury before tested it 1st time in their life, and makes them wanting even more. Of course there are some who shared the luxury with their citizens. Those heroes who wanted to obtain the luxuries for themself started developing on military and exhausted the citizens.

140 years later after the fall of the demons, one of the hero started a war with his neighbouring country, ‘the Kingdom of Miore’, which is also ruled by a hero. And currently, the kingdom of Miore has been removed from the map and no longer exist.

The previous ruler of Miore, which is called Queen Yuria, is now on her way to another kingdom, through the jungle while hiding from the enemy.

An average human’s lifespan is around 100 years, but why Yuria, who ruled over the kingdom for more than a century has the appearance of an early twenties young girl? The reason is, the power and body of the heroes grew stronger everytime they won a battle against the demons, and it even affected their lifespan.

Throughout history, many people trained to prolonged their lifespan, but the maximum ever recorded is 999 years. No one ever exceeded that amount except other races, especially the elf race, which their average lifespan is more than a thousand years. But no one knows how much are the lifespan of the heroes.

Yuria herself governs her kingdom and treats her citizens like her own family. She even open her own healing facility and healed many people. She is a healer class and has many advance healing magic. She is not good with combat, also not good in attacking magic, so her job in the demon war is by providing support.

The kingdom that Yuria is travelling to is called ‘Kouma Kingdom’. The ruler is called Queen Erina. Yuria is now worried wether Erina would accept them into the kingdom or remove them. Erina governs her citizens like a spoiled princess, but did not focus much on military aspect.

Yuria and Erina were once good friends, but they each went their own way because of their different ideals of governing a nation.

Yuria’s group consists of 50 well trained soldiers that formed a formation that surrounds her and 2 of her guards in the middle, which could protect them against dangers from any direction.

While they were still moving foward, suddenly, a few soldiers at the back of their formation let out a loud shriek, and when the rest of the soldiers turn back to see what happen, all they saw was just a few headless soldiers.
