“Ah, I forgot to buy you a gift”

“I just thought it would be nice to give you one”
[He misunderstands a lot so he made up another reason to out of practice]
“If you do wish for a gift then I think you already gave me one”
“I don’t recall”
“I enjoyed our date. I will think of this date as a gift. ( ^◡^) Bye-Bye”
She waved and started walking
“B-Bye-Bye”
The way she says bye-bye
It’s cute! [Everything is cute with this guy!]
And so our date ended
Ah, I didn’t follow the schedule even the least bit
Well, Life should be full of surprises
And Hey! I didn’t faint!
The Date was a success!

I ended up just telling him that I was waiting for someone, and he scampered off, wearing a silly smile. I can’t help but feel jealous of him. The beginning of next spring; the day that the world ends. It seems so far away, yet so close. Wherever you are now, I have to ask, how are you spending your last spring? Did you get to see the flowers bloom? Did you smile? Did you cry?
