Chapter 34: A New Journey

Grey and the others were discussing what they were going to do now, the town was protected and will be protected for a long time, the shadows were still out there somewhere, holding my parents and hiring bandits to do their dirty work.

Grey decided they were going to leave this town, but before that he needed to go to the graveyard one last time, as he goes out he asks them to not follow him.

Coming by the graveyard he kneels down by the grave talking toward it for a while, 'You know... I never liked you, Jack, we never did get along very well, even when we were little, you always pissed me off so much, but now that you are gone... something is missing, it is like a piece of me got ripped out of me, I will never forget you, little brother, I will revenge you someday... you have my word'.

Grey talked a bit more to the grave of Jack before going back to their hideout, most of them had packed their things already, ready to leave the town that was almost invaded by bandits and mercenaries.

On their way toward the gate they see Robert pass them by, 'Ahh, you are all going out I see, I will be leaving for a while as well, have a safe journey, and hopefully, we meet again, in some nicer circumstances', Grey nods toward him, as Robert quickly passes them further and further away into the distance.

On arrival at the gate, they see John with a full bag on his side and his sword on his back, he clearly looked like he was about to leave town as well, 'Ah I see I did not miss you guys yet, I decided, I will join you guys, for now, it so happens to be I overheard you guys talking about the next destination, I was going there as well.

*Small flashback*

Grey: 'We will leave tomorrow toward-'

John standing behind a shelf in the guildhall totally not listening in on their conversation, after Grey leaves he asks Jessica if there were any quests in that town, there were.

*End of flashback*

It just happens to be there is my next quest, John laughs.
