Steady knocking brought Skye out of the fantasy world she had gotten lost in. Placing the last book of the Fablehaven series on her desk, Skye saw the time on her alarm clock. Skye let out a curse and rushed to grab her bag and get to the door. Lance stood on the other side smirking.

“Cold feet?” He asked

“As if” Skye laughed and pushed past the strategist “I got caught up in Fablehaven”

Lance joined Skye, and the two made their way towards the rest of the team waiting under God.

“Did you finish the last book?” Lance asked

“Not yet” Skye said “I just finished the part where they summoned Lady Luck. It was really cool, reminds me of the ritual my mom performs when we visit Atlantis”

“Atlantis is real?” Dale asked in shock

“Well, yeah” Skye shrugged “That’s why deep water exploration is so slow, they have to work with the locals”

As Skye finished speaking, nine beams of light shot down from God.

Enter the beam in thirty seconds. Target locked. Transportation to Raiders of the Lost Ark starts.

“Later I would like a discussion about what else is real in our world,” Lance said.

“Don't be too sure about that" Skye smiled and stepped into a beam of light.

Skye entered the half awake state she was told of since she was born.

As the team came to the first thing they felt was intense humidity. All around them was a vast rainforest. On the ground six bodies lie around them.

“So we’re starting at the beginning” Lance spoke first, nodding to a stone structure that was peaking above the trees

“Are we gonna work with Indiana?” Skye asked aloud and looked at her watch.

Protect Indiana Jones. Team Peru will arrive when the amulet is in the possession of Indiana or the Nazis.

“That’s not a lot of direction” Elijah complained

“God’s leaving some room for creativity” Lance smirked

“Is God letting us decide which side to work with?” Logan asked

“What do you mean?” Dale asked “Our mission is to protect Indiana, we’re on his side”

“Team Peru showing up when the amulet is taken implies they will be given a mission for the opposite side” Lance explained “We could ally ourselves with the Nazis and leave Peru with only Indiana as an ally”

“Hell no” Crystal spoke up “I draw the line at working with Nazis”

“I second that” Josh agreed “If we’re given a choice we should stick with Indiana”

“I agree” Lance nodded

“You don’t think it would be safer to go on the side with the army?” Logan asked

“The army only gives the illusion of protection” Lance explained “God will not throw problems at us that a few soldiers with guns can handle”

“But those guns could still work on most of the team” Logan argued “I’d rather have them pointed at team Peru”

“We’re not the ones giving the orders though” Lance countered “The Nazis are on a mission to get magical power to win the war. If Indiana or team Peru start complicating things, they might decide to change targets”

“We can handle them” Logan shrugged

“Not without casualty” Lance said, gesturing towards the unconscious newbies “This is a team battle, every death is 2000 points we need to make up”

“Are we actually arguing about this?” Crystal asked

“We need to do what's best for survival” Elijah shrugged

“We need to have some standards” Crystal scoffed

“This is a decision we need to make another day” Lance said “Lets focus on what we need to do today”

“I suppose we start with them,” Josh said, pointing towards the forest.

Standing unnaturally still were two men on the path facing the stone structure. Indiana Jones and his guide.

“Excellent” Lance said “We’ll be able to join him as soon as the movie starts. Now we need to find the plane and we’ll be ready to start”

“Start what?” A deep voice asked from the ground.

A man of asian descent was rising from the group of unconscious newbies. He stood taller than Matt, making him the tallest on the team.

“You woke up fast” Josh was the first to respond, welcoming the newbie as he was tasked with. Crystal also approached the newbies, looking to see if there were any other early risers.

“Where am I?” The man looked around in confusion, looking around the veterans his eyes landed on Skye and he froze.

“You’re currently in a rainforest” Josh joked “I know you’re probably really confused but if you give us a few minutes for everyone to wake up we can explain further”

The words brought the newbie out of his stare.

“Right” he nodded “I’ll wait then”

“If the newbies are waking up we should get to work” Skye said, grabbing Eve’s hand “Let’s get going!”

“We've located the plane" Eve reported "there's three seats and the pilot’s pit"

“Excellent” Lance replied “Have Skye approach the pilot”

“Already on it!” Skye’s thoughts carried her excitement.

The conversation rang through the soul link connected to the veterans. With Elijah exchanging for the actual skill he could connect up to six people, sadly his bracer had not worked with the skill. It was now stored within the team’s storage wand.

“Alright the movie is going to start soon” Logan said, “I’ll stick with Indiana and keep him safe”

“Based on the plane you can take someone else with you” Lance said “Why don’t you take Josh?”

Josh, who had been with Crystal giving the usual speech to the newbies, paused when he heard his name.

“You don’t want to take him with you?” Logan asked

“I don’t think i’ll need him yet” Lance said “besides he could use some experience dealing with traps. A trapped temple is the perfect place to learn”

“Fine i’ll keep an eye on him” Logan nodded

“I can hear you talking about me” Josh said, less than fifteen feet away “You could just ask me”

“Dale, Louie” Logan turned to the newest members “Can you two stick with the newbies with Crystal? Keep them safe”

“Yes sir” Dale said seriously

“I’m really sticking with babysitting?” Louie asked apprehensively “Shouldn’t I be with the action?”

“Not yet” Lance smirked “I have plans for you once the enemy team shows up. For now we really need eyes on the newbies”

“Whatever” Louie shrugged “but it’s fifty points for every surviving newbie”

“Let’s do five points a newbie” Lance countered “you’ll earn plenty from this movie regardless. I intend for you to be a frontrunner in this battle”
