《Terror Explored (a terror infinity fanfic)》Scream Part 2

Seven days later the team stood once again under God, in less than ten minutes they would be sent into Scream.Logan, Lance and Eve stood together looking over several papers related to the various exchanges and potential future exchanges. Elijah and Brutus stood away from everyone else. Elijah was wiping his bracer with a rag, the bluish metal shining on the nondescript piece of armor. Josh stood with Matt and Crystal, talking to help pass the time and ease nerves.
“I’m hoping it will help with the backlash from the unlocked mode” Matt said,, showing off his final exchange. A small gold ring now sat on his right ring finger, a ruby sat in the center of the ring. Matt had shown earlier a strange rune carved into the ring on the underside of the ring.
Minor ring of healing
A weak magical ring created to heal. Can release 3 minor doses of healing magic into the owner. Uses reset every twenty four hours. Cost D rank reward and 1200 points.
“If I can activate the ring right when i exit the unlocked mode it might speed up my recovery time” Matt elaborated
“You’re starting to get a collection of magical trinkets” Crystal pointed out.
The Star Hanbi Gwen had used in the previous movie had been returned to Matt when it was brought back along with the other items from Harry Potter. The young man was happy to have the item he bought back.
“I guess” Matt shrugged “Maybe this movie i’ll be able to actually use one”
“You’ll probably need to if Logan wants us out front” Josh said
“Do you really think you’ll have to fight much in the movie?” Crystal asked
“Has to be some” Matt said “God wants us to grow and we can’t grow without some kind of danger”
“I’m still not convinced that's the real point of this realm” Crystal said “God could just make people like Brutus and send them into the movies”

“Lance said that God couldn't create personalities and experiences” Josh reminded her “They’d all come out like Brutus”
Over the last week it had become apparent that there wasn't much to Brutus. Elijah had gone with a minimalist outlook when creating the personality. This boiled down to Protect Elijah above all else, help the team when convenient, and be the strong and silent type. This created a hulk of a man with nothing to him but a desire to protect Elijah. The man had no interest in anything that wouldn’t help protect Elijah. He spent all day training by Elijah, never leaving his side. Elijah had even complained about the man staring at him during downtime. Lance had solved this by suggesting the bodyguard wear sunglasses.
“He’s getting better,” Matt pointed out.
“Only because he’s around other people” Josh countered “If he were surrounded by people just like him i doubt he would change”
“That's true” Crystal admitted begrudgingly
Brutus had shown some signs of growth the previous evening when he had gone to Wilma and made a request for dinner that evening. Wilma was the other new human creation. Matt had created her to thank Logan for his exchanges, Logan had mentioned previously being nervous about Robin being on her own while he was in a movie. Matt then created a elderly woman to act as a nanny for the young girl. Along with skills helpful for childcare Matt had also given a love of cooking. It was becoming typical for anyone who didn't want to cook that night to have dinner in Matt’s room, Elijah and Brutus had been there every night that week. Currently Wilma and Robin were in Logan’s room, the two had said their goodbyes earlier as Robin was eager to watch a new movie.
Suddenly twenty pillars of light came out from God.
Enter the beam in thirty seconds. Target locked. Transportation to Scream locked.
Everyone stepped forward, Lance and Elijah being the only ones to share their pillar with another. The strange half awake half asleep sensation returned, an unknown amount of time past. Josh found himself in a grassy field with his teammates, nine people lay unconscious around them. Looking around Josh found that they were actually behind a large brick building, a sign by the side of the building identified it as a high school.

“We’re at the main character’s school” Josh announced
“That gives us a number of times we could be entering” Lance analysed “Depending on how the students move around the building i could give a narrower time frame”
“What's the mission?” Logan asked
Everyone looked at their watches as Matt read out loud.
Find and execute the Woodsboro killers. Any innocents killed will result in a 1000 point reduction to the player. If Sidney Prescott is killed 10000 points will be deducted from each player.
“That's an odd mission” Lance noted “ We need to kill the killers while protecting Sidney”
“Well that should be easy” Elijah said and pointed a thumb at the school “We know who the killers are, go in there and kill them”
“It can’t be that easy” Logan said with certainty
“We probably need t-” Lance began but was cut off by one of the newbies.
“Finally” a young woman of asian descent cried out “ Took longer than anticipated”
Everyone turned to see the young woman stretch as if she had just woken up in bed.
“Fast” Logan muttered
The woman looked no older than nineteen years old, her black hair was cut in a short pixie cut. She rose to her feet, showing an athletic build and average height. She wore casual clothes, a t- shirt, jeans, and a jacket. She also had a purple backpack on, which had a flashlight in one of the outer pockets.
“So this is it” she said, taking in her surroundings “much better than I expected”
Lance spoke up “Pardon me do you know where you are?”
The older teen looked at the team for the first time “Lets see” she said and raised her watch to look at the screen “We are in the movie Scream, i'm assuming at the high school the cast attends”
The team as a whole was stunned by the woman’s actions. Josh met Lance’s gaze and felt his concern grow seeing the confusion in his step brother's eyes. Usually Lance was amazing at keeping a calm expression but even he was struggling to make sense of this person’s actions.
“Or were you referring to this being God’s Dimension” the woman said with a teasing tone.
“You know about God’s Dimension?” Logan asked
“Did you plan to come here?” Lance questioned at the same
“Yes and yes” she answered mischievously
“How could you possibly know about this place?” Lance asked “Did you exchange for the Back to the Origin?”
Back to the Origin was the end goal for almost all of the people in the realm. Costing 50,000 points it permanently returns the person back to the real world along with everything the person had exchanged for.
“No i didnt” she said with a chuckle “I’m a legacy”
“A legacy?” Logan questioned “Like one of your parents came here?”
“Both actually” she informed “What team is this?”
“We’re team West America” Logan answered
“I’m guessing you're the leader?” she took a step closer to Logan, looking him up and down.
“I am” he said crossing his arms, he met her curious gaze with a glare.
“Good” she said with an approving nod “Didn’t want to be stuck with a weak leader”
“Hold on” Elijah snapped “Who the fuck are you?”
“My name is Skye” she revealed “I’m the daughter of Jennifer Holloway and Luo Gando”

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment.
