[Day 19]

Last night I arrived the cave carrying with me five baby goblins. One and the goblins woke up when I arrived. I told them to greet their new siblings. The were happy to meet their new siblings. Buttercup commented that it will be fun to have more siblings. The others agreed and said that they need to grow up fast so they can become stronger. I went to sleep after placing the babies in animal skins. I woke up in the morning and the five goblins were already children. I instructed One and the older goblins to teach their new siblings how to stretch and right after to immediately begin their daily routine. While they stretched, i crafted some clothes for the new goblins. I finished some simple garments for the five of them. I gave them the garments to wear and i joined the daily routine. While we trained, I kept recalling the event from the human's festival. It enraged me which cause me to run faster and harder. One, Mojo, Blossom and Buttercup were able to keep up but had a hard time due to the pace. The new goblins kept running though they lagged behind, they were determined to catch up. My mind was preoccupied with the actions of the humans in the festival. I couldn't believe how savage and barbaric they were. Though i use to be a human and i had an idea that some humans had bad morals. But everything is different now. I am a goblin and humans are a threat to my race and many others. I swore that the humans will get what they deserve in due time. After the run to the mountains and back we ate some of the goats that the goblins dragged back to the cave. Since we were depleting our water source faster, I decided to be the one to refill the water containers and return it to the cave while One and goblins trained. The reason for my decision of going alone to the river is that there might be humans patrolling the area just like previously and if i brought One and the goblins i wouldn't be able to protect them all at once.

I left the cave carrying the water containers and headed east. I arrived at the edge of the river and checked the surroundings for humans. Since it seemed safe, I began refilling the containers. Then without me noticing three arrows hit me but all three bounced off. It must have been because of the [Steel Skin] ability which enables my skin to be hard as steel and [Steel Hide ability which enables clothes made from animal hide to be as strong as steel. One of the arrows hit me around my collar bone which wasn't covered in animal hide. Though it did't penetrate my skin, it was very painful. A net was then casted on me by one of the humans. There were three of humans. I tried touching them with my index finger but they were wearing leather all over. They kept kicking and punching me while I was inside the net. I was being overwhelmed and i was frustrated. Clearly they were after me to capture me not to kill me. After many strikes from their punches and kicks i was hit directly in the jaws and blacked out.

I woke up being dragged to their camp, which was somewhere upstream of the river. I observed that the water was going the opposite direction from where I was being dragged. My captors and I, arrived at waterfall and entered a concealed cave. They occupied a cave which is hidden behind the water fall. They they dropped me in the corner. I looked around the cave and it was furnished. There is a long table with fifteen chairs, a board with the map of the continent displayed on it. There is also a weapon rack with weapons stacked on it. Near the weapon there is a post and tied up to it, is a kobold which is brutally cut up and close to dying. I assumed that they toyed with the kobold. That made me angry. Another group of violent and ignorant humans. They began to talk about how they should deal with me. The man that looked like a grunt suggested to sell me while the other suggested to tie me on the post and torture me. The man that looked like a grunt sat in front of me and pointed his knife. I grinned and used [Brainwashing] ability on him. I then commanded the grunt looking man to use his knife and slice the throat of the two men behind him.The two men behind the grunt looking man laughed. The grunt looking man turned around and sliced the throat of the man standing right behind him. The other man looked stunned. He couldn't believe that the grunt looking man did as I commanded him. While he was stunned with disbelief, the grunt looking man came up to the man sliced his throat. Blood splattered everywhere. I then commanded him to release me from the bounds that restrained me. I asked him to point to the map where this area is. He pointed to the area of the goat mountains. That means this place is right behind the mountains where the goats live. I also asked him if there were others other than the three of them. They said that three of their members disappeared. A ranger, a woman swordsman and a novice adventurer. There were more but he doubts that they'll ever return because they have taken jobs as knights for one of the kingdoms in the continent. I looked at the map and it was different from the map that I found from the ranger. The grunt looking man said that this map is the most current one because kingdoms have just recently been founded not so long ago. I had heard enough and decided to keep the man as a slave since he has many useful information. I walked over to the kobold that was tied up. I asked the grunt looking guy about the severely wounded kobold. He said that this kobold is the leader of a pack of kobold they had attacked many days ago. They attacked their cave and kept him to be toyed with. I used [Healing] ability on the Kobold Leader. He woke up and requested to be put out his misery. The Kobold Leader feels ashamed because he couldn't protect his pack. I tried to reason with him but he said it is too late for reasons. I respected his wish and killed him then consumed him.

Ability [Severe Pain Resistance] learned.

Ability [Intimidation Glare] learned.

I then ate the two humans that the grunt looking man killed.

Ability [Conceal Presence] learned.

Ability [Hide] learned.

Ability [Sense Trap] learned.

Ability [Sense Enemy] learned.

Ability [Unlock] learned.

After consuming all of them I decided to look around the cave. I found a room full of weapons and armors. There is a room with up to twenty single beds. There was also a room that was locked. I used [Unlock] ability which I just recently learned. The room is a big bedroom with three shelves full of books. I decided to return to the cave. I commanded the grunt looking man to stay and guard this cave.

[Day 20]

I arrived at the cave really early in the morning. Since it was very late at night when i left and the cave under the waterfall was quite far, it took me a while to return to our cave. I woke up One and the goblins and told them to grab everything they can and follow me. Once everyone carried everything I took them to the cave behind the waterfall. We arrived late in the afternoon in the cave behind the waterfall. I told them that from now on we'll be living here. This place was a very lucky find. We now have unlimited source of water. Also the fact that its hidden and unknown to most humans plus with all of the things inside the cave Its a very big advantage. I showed One and the goblins where they'll be sleeping. Their face lighted up when they laid on the bed. One yelled out that its so soft and comfortable. After everyone has settled i told them to follow me to the the table. They felt weird sitting on the chairs.

I announced to them that there will be a few changes with the daily routine. I told them that the training will be the same except that in the morning the cave must be thoroughly cleaned before going out for the daily training. Then after the training I will be teaching everyone how to read and write. After the reading and writing lessons we will train again but this time we'll add hand to hand combat. One and the goblins nodded their heads. We all slept after the announcement.

[Day 21]

One and the goblins cleaned the cave. After cleaning they went out to their usual routine. I joined them the separated from them when they reached the goat mountain. I told them that i would meet them in out new home. I dashed to the old cave. I wanted to check if the woman had returned but she wasn't there. I was curious where she went. I returned to the cave expecting One and the goblins to be already there waiting for me. When I arrived all the goblins were gathered around in one spot crying. I asked what happened. They said that One was severely injured due to fighting a brown mountain goat. He was defending them from the brown goat. The goblins said that One managed to kill the brown mountain goat. But before he killed it, One was stuck by the goat's horn which snapped and was embedded into him. I looked at One and he had a horn stuck in his chest. I began using [Healing] ability. His wound healed but still he looked as if he was in pain. I decided to carry One to one of the beds. I told the goblins that today's routine was for the rest of the day. Everyone gathered around One. I looked at One with guilt. I thought that everyone would be safe in the goat mountain since i killed the black mountain goat. I didn't know that there would be others. I stayed by his side and worried. The goblins cried praying that their big brother would recover. We all stayed by his side waiting if he'll ever wake up.
