《My Hermit Life》Chapter 62

Solomon spent a happy and content year with Loretta and her army. He found out the day he met with them that the level sixty he originally came to kill had already been dealt with, but Loretta said that as her conquest's became harder higher level enemies became more common. So Solomon happily spent around a month or so building Loretta's massive beasts armour. Solomon first made a battle armour for the elephant undead, he sis this because elephants are one of his favorite creatures.
The armour wasn't made of metal, instead Solomon cut a bunch of thin planks of wood which he threaded together like a carpet. He then painted the wood to look a lot like the the carpets one would see on Indian village elephants on earth. ( I couldn't find a proper name for the practice of putting carpets on elephants, all I could find were Howdah or Houdah which wasn't what I was talking about. ) Solomon thought of making war elephant armour but he didn't really know how to make it. He did make some fancy claws made of metal that would fit around the foot of the elephant. He also made two other pieces of armour, one for attacking and one that he enchanted heavily. The attacking weapon were extensions that fitted on the elephants four tusks, they had blades and were perfect for piercing and scooping. The last thing Solomon made was a Dastar, Solomon knew the name and that the headgear represented valour, honor, and courage, which Solomon thought was good for the elephant. Solomon was happy he was in a different world or else he would fear having hundreds of thousands of white women hate on him.
The next Secret Weapon Solomon worked on was the horse, since he liked horses. He did traditional knight horse armour from medieval Europe, also known as Barding. It was made of a bright chrome silver metal. And Solomon made it true to how he knew war horse armour to be, the only thing he didn't add to the armour was the feather, since he didn't know the signifigence of it. The armour had formations that would obviously increase defense, they would also lower the weight or the armour since it would be pretty heavy. Solomon made enchantments that would match up with the giants armour when it was riding it. The enchantments made a connection of telepathy between the giant and the horse, the telepathy would also allow the two to have complicated thoughts, instead of the usual no free thought; it was to allow quick thoughts in the midst of battle.

The giants armour was knight armour that was exactly like the horses armour. It was also a bright chrome silver, attention grabbing silver. The armour also came with a nice long lance that had nothing but enchants that would add to piercing and attack power.
The Sphinx which had the limber and sleek body of a lioness and the face with an eerie likeness to Loretta was given bronze armour that covered every inch of her body. The armour was made with layered bronze colored metal that was naturally much tougher than regular bronze. Solomon often read that Sphinx had wings, but the one Loretta made didn't, so he made some. He carved out individual wooden feathers and then Loretta used her space weaving to weave them together and make them able to fly. The armour itself was infused with fairly normal magic, while the wings had space enchants, gravity enchants, flight enchants, and that was it.
Solomon couldn't think of any kind of armour that would be a good fit for a massive sea beast, so he didn't. Instead Solomon covered the things entire body tattoos. He gave it's tentacles piercing and strength, he gave it's mind great intelligence, he gave it's eye basic ex-ray, as well as a few other basic up-grades.
Solomon also didn't give the High-Dragon armour, he did however play around with it the most. He engraved as many engravings as physically possible into its bones. He also added as many tattoos as he could. In the end the engravings added insane amounts of fire power to it's fire breath while the tattoos did the same for physical strength. In the end the High-Dragon could match the Giant-horse combo in power, though it's intelligence wouldn't be as high.
By the time Solomon was done with the High Dragon exactly one year had passed. During that year Solomon had not only did all he did for Loretta's secret weapons, he had also killed a random level sixty from a random country and leveled up. Solomon's power up wasn't accompanied by any power up's instead he only had his talent increased. That meant he could once again start working out, that was the only thing he could think of that would let him really strengthen himself. He didn't head straight back to the forest for his masters realm, instead he worked a hell of a lot on his and Loretta's world to increase the time dilation as high as he possibly could. He couldn't make it to where a million years in their world meant one in the real world, but he made it to where every 100,000 years would be a year. Though the results weren't as good, he could exit whenever he wanted, he could also upgrade it, so Solomon felt that the benefits equaled the negatives. With that Solomon once again entered seclusion.

Solomon soon fell into a sort of " state " where he was in a constant dream while his body did near non-stop working out. In his dream he actually thought about formations constantly, mainly thinking about his not quite perfect Creation Formation and nowhere near complete Destruction Formation. He worked a lot on the Creation Formation instead of his Destruction Formation since the latter wouldn't be as useful in his opinion. Truthfully if Solo didn't have the CF he wouldn't have been able to complete the armour's without a master blacksmith and quite a few more years of work. So he decided to focus on the CF until it was completed and then he would work on the DF. When he wasn't having any inspiration though he would break out of his dream and relax with some working out, or he would think of how to increase the time dilation.
Like that, one year passed for Loretta, Deam, and Gabrielle. It was 100,000 for Solomon though.

During the year Loretta had ran into a pretty tough enemy, it wasn't a country but instead was a school. A magic school. Solomon thought it was pretty a pretty average school, 100,000 Outer disciples, 10,000 inner disciple, 17 core disciples, 30 elders, 20 high elders, 3 grand elders, 1 school leader, and then four ancestors who were as stronger or stronger than the leader. The leader and the ancestors were at least as strong as all of Loretta's SW's ( secret weapons ) combined. Thanks to that she had been having a little trouble, but she liked that, she wanted a challenge.
Gabby had swiftly and easily taken control of her country and had moved from being a simple noble to being a royal, not through marriage, but as a nominated one. Nominated royals were for extremely talented nobles who refused to join through marriage, but they were to good not to have them join. Once she took over the countries under world, Gabby moved her business to other countries, though she kept mainly to her base country.
Deam had had a smooth sailing in regards to her conquering ever since she got her asura. Her asura were absolutely brutal, one wouldn't think that people who were usually scholars or farmers would be so brutal during battle, but the asura were insane. They would charge head first where ever Deam pointed them, they would then kill, eeevvvveeeeerrrrrryyyyyyytttttttthhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg, literally. In battle they would lead with their weapons, if they lost their weapons then they used their hands, no hands then legs, no legs then they would bite your throat, they were brutal. So yeah, Deam was doing good.

8 259Galactic Fist of Legend
In the year 2018 a bright star appeared near Earth. Humanity as a whole was briefly introduced to a race of beings far beyond their understanding. During that brief interaction a proclamation was made, Defeat the Grand Emissary or become the eternal slaves of those who had arrived at Earth. The only chance for victory was for people all across the globe to make a choice. When prompted to become a champion and a play a bizarre game of life or death they could choose yes or no. Those who chose no, went about their lives afterward. All memory of the event was lost despite the fact that their very existence as a free species hung by a single thread. Will those who said yes manage to survive the horror of the game and become strong enough to defeat the Grand Emissary. Can one of them become... The Galactic Fist of Legend. Also, it's a comedy. Pretty obvious, right? Notes: This story will contain graphic violence, stupid humor, nudity, sexiness, and maybe I'll give the main character a pet cat or something. I don't know yet. Still, you need to be pretty mature to properly take care of a pet. Notes2: This story is my answer to stories such as Gantz, Terror Infinity, Battle Royale, Btoom!, and strangely enough... Captain N: The Video Game Master. It is an original story, but it does seek to give a similar vibe to some of those tales of legend. However, it is not meant to be an overly serious tale as I have decided that the new stories that I release in the coming year will be mostly comedies.
8 216Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

8 133A Student...Like You
Fighting over the most ridiculous stuff, trying to escape punishments using all sorts of tricks, bemoaning the non-existent cafeteria or perhaps, the soaring price of the food there. Arguing like mad with friends but then going back to them only, when loneliness sets in. Skipping assemblies, cursing the march past, the freedom of the PE period and the 'official' bunking for school events. The care of teachers, the craziness of friends, the feeling of first love and the endless notorious escapes...ah, those were the days, our cherished...school days! Author's Note: Hello, everyone! This is my first Web Novel. I'll upload one episode every Monday. Constructive criticism is most welcome! I hope you all enjoy reading the story! Thank You!!
