" Alright Loretta before we continue buisness how about we work on our houses? "
" Sure I was thinking the same thing. I for one dont like the out side walls of this house, I dont mind wood inside just not outside. Maybe we could do some thing similar to the tiles we have on the roof. "
Solomon after thinking for a bit pulled a face as though he had a great idea.
" Cob, its perfect it is cheap and easy to make plus it looks very pretty, and it is easy to engrave so I can do enchantments on the house itself. Oh, I can also add grounding rods to power my enchantments using the Mana in the lightning. "
" What is this miracle material that you seem to be in love with? "
" Cob is basically mud and fiber mixed together it is like what peasents we see in some countries using to build, of course we will use high class mud that soaks up and some wheat that we have growing in our Barrier world. And before you say anything we wont be living like peasents just cause we have a house made of mud. "
" That didnt bother me one bit, Ii have lived in worse situations I mean hell we have lived in cave for a few years now. I was interested in the grounding rods you speak of though. "
" I wanted to use some metal rods to attract the lightning all around us, the reason is for the lightning to run into a sort of battery I am planning to make. A battery is something that stored electricity in my old world, I want to make one that I can store Mana and Lightning energy in to save up in case I need a big bang or something in the future. "

After thinking about it a bit Loretta nodded her head and they both got to work. Solomon started making the cob using some dirt a few minutes walk away from where their house is built. Loretta on the other hand started to quickly tear down the house that had been built a few hours before. Solomon explained to Loretta that he had never personally worked with cob before but he had seen a few house built out of it, he also said that all of those houses were circular and he wants to build their house like that as well. After Loretta agreed, Solomon got some of the cob made and Loretta tore down the house they proceded to start building. Solomon showed Loretta how to make the cob so that he could be the one building the house because Loretta wasnt confident in actually building it with out super vision.
A few hours later Solomon had three feet tall walls all around the area they had decided to build. While taking a break Solomon brought up and idea he had seen on tv in his old world that he wanted to replicate on there house.
" I want to grow grass on the roof of our house. "
" What do you mean? "
" Exactly what I said, I want to grow some lightning attribute grass on top of our house, it would look nice and purify the Mana in the air around us. "
" Then do we have Lightnigng attribute grass? "
" I was going to grow some in the Barrier world as soon as I got your consent. Meaning I will be back babe, see ya, keep making cob. "
When Loretta heard the last bit of his sentence she was about to mouth off but she realized he was already gone. At that point she might as well get back to work making cob. In the Barrier World one would see Solomon shaking the tops of some tall bluish grass. The grass its self was willowy with very thin straight strands that would make some fell immesurably comofortable to lay on. Solomon didnt know the species of grass he just saw a few thin stalks when he was walking along in the forest and decided to pick it as it seemed rare. The proscess to give something a specific elemental atrribute is fairly simple, all one would have to do is lightly insert whatever kind of attribute into the object.

After Solomon covered the seeds in lightning mana he popped out of the Barrier world in order to help Loretta continue building.
After that began the week long process of building their house, that of course includes the time Solomon spent spent inserting formations into the house. After they did that the couple visited their old friend Pater to ask him to build the lightning rods for them. Apparentely Pater was one of the best blacksmiths in the younger generation of the forest, he even gets commisions from some gods in his clans bringing immense pride to his parents and sister. While Solomon was there he got Deam to take Loretta sparring that way he could ask Pater for some parts for a special gift he has planned for Loretta. Solomon ordered a lance made to sixe for Loretta but it was hollow inside with a weird handle as well as a finger sized hole at the tip of the blade. After that the two love birds spent a few more days hanging out with the only friends similar in age to them, before they decided to hang out together at home.
When they reached the house Solomon and Loretta saw both of the armys charging straight at each in what was surely going to be a bloodbath. Solomon and Loretta had showed up at the perfect time to watch what was going to be one of many battles to come. They decided to cook some food on a basic grill Solomon had made out of stone, after their dinner that cuddled up on some chairs and watched the few hour long battle while cuddling on some lawn chairs.

What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.

The origin story of The god and The Demon. While technically the third installment I've written, and first that I've ever shared, it is chronologically the first saga. An apocalypse, the school saga. "The best lime comes from a world destroyed. An apocolyptic world. That is the only place you can find sweet limes. Or, at least, limes as sweet as the one I love so very much." Evan said, upon being asked where to find sweet limes.
