《My Hermit Life》Chapter 5 ( re-edit )

One day after Solomon became Aoparas student. During the day the group had visited ever being they were friendly with in the forest. From tiny sentient bushes to ancient sentient mountains. They even visited a floating lake that Solomon thought had a great sence of humour.
" Phew I think that that is all of our friends that are still in the forest, Cery, Beast thank you both for joining us in showing off Solo. "
" No worries Shie, Cery and I always enjoy hanging out with you two and now its more fun with nephew being around, plus it was more than worth to see everybodies surprised faces . "
" Well I thinks its about time we head off, you two can come visit when ever you want. "
" All right bye, you two and bye to you aswell Solomon. "
" Bye Aunt Cery bye Uncle Beast. "
While Solomon and his parents were walking home Solomon started thinking about some of the fantastical creatures he had met. His favorite of which was a Queen Harpy whose mountain the group had passed yesterday.
The mountain that the harpies were living on was bigger than three Mt. Everests from Solomons old world. The groups destination was at the top of the mountain, while walking up the mountain Solomon saw millions of bird nests big enough to fit an adult human male. At the top of the mountain was a nest that could fit a football field, the nest looked like it was made of entire trees instead of twigs. Inside of the nest was a massive bird with the face of a gorgeous human woman. That giant was the Harpy Queen who just so happned to be great friends with Solomons mother, Shie. They didnt do much other than talk with the Queen but Solomon did get to lay on her back and he almost fell asleep simply from how soft her feathers were. Apparently thats how harpies compete for mates, who ever has the softest feathers gets the first pick of captured males.

While Solomon was thinking back he remebered his master and decided to ask his dad more about him.
" Dad can you tell me more about my master? "
" Sure son, lets see where should I start, well for one your master is extremely old and powerful even by the standards of other Gods, to the extent he has seen many universes be born and destroyed even destroying a few himself. He has mastered many ancient and powerful magics and techniques and he is one of the few creatures to learn Dragon Magic without the bloodline of a dragon. Not many people have seen him use his full power and any who might have are most likely dead or have had there souls and mind destroyed making them nothing but a vegetable. "
" Wow, then why would he want to teach me? "
" Son your parents are two of the most powerful species of Legendary Beasts and even then we are both extremely talented individuals even by our race standards, so even if you didnt become a seperate Legendary Beast species you would still be extremely powerful in the future. So with you being a Tribulation Monkey who has a race skill even though you are the first of your kind which means you will definitely become a God as long as you are not killed early. Another thing is that your starting stats are at the level of a Lv1 Lesser Dragon after it has gone through puberty, dont let the Lesser or Lv1 throw you off Lesser Dragons can still become real dragons in the future so the fact that your stats are like this is truly insane. "
" Oh alright I will keep that in mind in the future, do either of you know when he will be getting me and if I will be able to see you guys often? "
" We have no idea son and we will probably not meet often so we should spend as much time together as we can. "

" Sounds good to me what about you Solomon? "
" Yes lets do that. "
After that the family of three spent exactly one month together, though to Solomon it felt like a day. Solomon truly loved his new parents in this world, he could feel the pure love radiating off of them even though he is a reincarnated individual. One day while the three were together outside of the tree house that is actually there house both of Solomons parents stopped and started waiting. Solomon knew what this meant so he also stopped moving around.
" Hohoho its been a while since I have visited you house little monkey, I still love the design. "
" Well Master you can visit whenever you want, and I would hope that Master likes it afterall it took me thousands of years to find the Dragons Blood Baobab, and it took even longer to grow the branches into a house that is livable. "
" I very much like that Shie used her Dragons Magic to make a natural formation using the ambient mana, its even perpetual, you did an amazing job with it. "
" Thank you very much Mister Aopara your compliments arent given very often after all. "
" Well lets get going Little Solomon. "
Solomon was sad to actually be leaving his house. Even though he didnt spend much time with his parents the three had truly built a connection. Before he left Solomon ran up to both his parents and got a hug and a kiss from both.
" I will miss you both and I will try to visit as much as I can. "
"" We will miss you to, now get going dont keep your master waiting. ""
" Alright Solomon lets get going it will be a bit of a trek. "
3 Days Later
" Alright Solo I am sure your parents told you about how I am very old, powerful, and knowledgeable right? "
Solomon nods his head up and down.
" Ok good then I will make a list giving of magics I will teach you, you can choose a minimum of three and a maximum of ten, here is the list. "
In front of me pops up a screen. Before I decide I ask Master a few questions.
" Master before I decide can I ask a few Questions? "
" Sure. "
" Alright then why is there a limit to how many magics I can choose and how did you make a screen pull up? "
" For one, one of the magics you might choose could take up all of your time and plus if i teach you to many magics you could be jumbled and not know which magic to use leading you to die in a fight, and even though I am teaching you and want you to live I do want you to have to struggle sometimes as that will give you a solid foundation for God-Hood something your parents would agree with. "
" But master God-hood is so far away for me. "
" So, you should know the Divine Domain is the total of all your experiences meaning the more extreme and impactful your experiences the stronger your domain will be. Anyway to answer your second question when you become a God this is one of the perks you get. "
" Oh ok Master then I will choose now. "

Legacy
After a gruesome accident, John can't live a normal life anymore. While he's in a coma, he is offered an interesting proposal. If he can't live a normal life in the real world, maybe he could try living a good one in the virtual world. It sounds like an easy solution but things may not go as planned. Chapter 1 and 2 can be considered prologues but I advise you to read them to get a better understanding of both the characters and the world. The story picks up after chapter 4 so if you wish to read a story with a """"slightly"""" dark main character, please be patient. Warning! Some chapters may include : strong coarse language, violence, scenes that are suggestive of or depicting sexual intercourse, rape and ritualistic murders.

As per the edicts of the Celestial Court, humans Cultivate the Dao to seek strength and rise above their common roots. If they rise to one day serve the Dragon Gods directly, they have the chance to be initiated into the Greater Secrets of the Daos, which can allow them to live for millions of years. Coalescence, the Path to Transcendence, is considered a Heretical Art of the Demonic War Masters, whose evil empire was said to have been overthrown hundreds of millennia in the past by the Celestial Court. Wolves, a species that are said to have once served the War Masters, are listed by the Temple of the Celestial Court as one of the most corrupt of Demonic Beasts. They are killed on sight. Surrounded by the Demonic Wildlands and protected by the ancient Watch Towers, a number of human nations and empires thrive atop the Great Plateau. Cultivators rule over the general populace and the Temple of the Celestial Court rules over the Cultivators. Anyone caught practicing Coalescence is sentenced to death by torture. I am half human and half Wolf. Since I am already under a death sentence for my Bloodline, there is nothing to stop me from setting out on the Path of Coalescence. As I promised my mother, I will grow strong. When I am strong enough, I will destroy the Dragons and Dragon Gods. I will set this world, once known as Sirius, free from their chains. The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
