In My Hermit Life I make it to where the system doesn't grant stat or skill points, instead I make it to where everytime you level up or increase the level of a skill or unlock a title it unlocks a bit of hidden talent. Like with Solomon who at level one had his physical stats cap at 10,000 each. ( Spoilers Ahead ) For each consecutive level I plan to have Solomon's physical talents be doubled. So level two his physical stats will cap at twenty thousand. For magics, say Solomon has barely any talent with fire magic and he can only reach Superior Level with it at level one. Then at level two he could barely reach Max Level. If Solomon were to continuosly use his trick to reach Max Mastery then eventually Solomon could get extremely talented with fire magic. Though there would still be beings better at it than him. Dao is the only thing that can directly increase fighting power other than new skills or increasing stats, which even then you need to be at least at the Physical Embodiment level to actually use it to attack.
