Jack was tensed because he didn’t know the strength of the enemy; he had summoned skills and weapons but if the enemy is very strong then it will be of no use. As he was thinking he heard a knock on the door.

“Come in.” Jack shouted.

The door was opened and Sam entered inside, he had food in his hand. Sam put the food at the table and sat down.

“Everyone has eaten except you.” Sam said.

Jack nodded and began eating the food; he was very hungry so he quickly finished it. After eating he sat down and closed his eyes. Sam was tensed as well and he kept looking at his phone, after few minutes a message arrived and he quickly read it.

“Lisa and others will be here within 5 minutes so be prepared.” Sam said.

“Where is my mother?” Jack asked.

“We have put her and the others to sleep and only Mr. Edward is awake.”

Jack smiled and asked, “Why? Will that old man fight as well?”

“No, he said he will try to talk with them and avoid the fight if possible.” Sam answered.

“Let’s see what the old man can do.” Jack stood up and covered his face with the mask.

They went out from the room and went outside, Edward was already outside and he was waiting for Sam. Jack thought that the old man would be scared but the old man was very calm and he even smiled at him.

“Thank you for your help.” Edward extended his hand.

Jack was surprised but he still shook his hand, after the greeting nobody spoke and they waited for Lisa to arrive.

“Sam that boy Jack and his mother, where are they?” Edward asked.

“I have put them to sleep, don’t worry they won’t wake up.” Sam answered.

Jack was dressed in a black robe so Edward didn’t recognize him, Jack wasn’t sure why Edward asked about him but he didn’t give too much thought to it. After few minutes a car entered inside and Lisa got off with 3 other people, the two were men and one was a woman. Jack used the identify skill on them.

She is able to heal injuries with her aura, the skill is very useful but the healing time increases as the aura is depleted.

Jack was very impressed with the skills of the 3 people and specially Eve’s, he really wanted her to be his slave as her skill was the most important. The four came towards them and Sam greeted them with smile. Edward also smiled and thanked them for coming; Jack didn’t go and greet them but observed them. Max was huge like a bear; he was around 6’4 and had dark skin, he had muscles everywhere and he kept smiling. Ark seemed like the leader, he was short and was around 5’5 with fair skin. He had covered his face with a black cloth and wore black clothes like assassin. Eve was around 5’9 and had white skin; she wore a long green skirt that came till her ankle. She had a very good body and even her face was beautiful.

Ark looked at Sam and asked, “Who is he?”

“Captain, he is here to help Mr. Edward.” Sam replied.

Ark came towards Jack and said in command, “Remove the mask.”

Jack hated when someone talked to him in a commanding tone, he never liked taking orders. So he was annoyed when Ark talked to him in such manner.

“I am not your subordinate, so don't order me around or else.” Jack said angrily.

Ark sneered and said, “What can you do?”

“Try to touch me and I will show you what I can do.”

“Sam stepped forward and said, “Captain, he is here to help.”

Ark glared at him and said, “Do you know who he is?”

“I don’t know.” Sam couldn’t tell the truth.

Ark pointed at Jack and said, “He is the enemy. Capture him.”

Max stepped forward and even Eve looked alert, Lisa also prepared for battle. Only Sam stood still, at that moment 10 men appeared out of nowhere. They all had black cloaks and had covered their faces, everybody looked at them and they knew that the real enemies had appeared.

Everybody stepped in front to protect Edward but Jack didn’t move from his place. He smiled and muttered, “Let’s see what you can do.”

If it had been a normal situation then Jack would have used the identify skill on the black men but he was very tensed at the moment. When Ark confronted him, he was barely able to reply without showing any fear. He knew then that Ark was very strong but still he chose not back down as he didn’t want people to know that he was afraid.

One of the black cloaked men stepped forward and shouted, “Master Edward, Can you please give Miss Sara to us?”

“I won’t unless you show me the proof.” Edward shouted.

The black cloak man looked back and nodded, another man stepped forward and gave a scroll and badge to Ark. Ark and his team was confused but they didn’t take initiative to attack, they gave it to Edward and he read the words on the scroll. After that he looked at the badge and nodded.

“She is inside, you can take her.” Edward shouted.

Jack was confused, he looked at the faces of Ark and his team and even they were confused. Sam looked at Edward and said, “We were supposed to protect Miss Sara right.”

Edward smiled and said, “Yes, you were but not from them.”

4 people went inside to bring Sara, after few minutes they brought Sara but along with her they brought Seema and Mary.

“Master Edward, you have read the letter so you should know what to do.”

“Yes, we will go with you, put her down she isn’t going with us.” Edward said pointing towards Mary. The man put Mary down and joined his group; Edward also walked and joined them.

“What happened to the group that was here before us?” The man looked at Edward.

“I think they were killed.” Edward replied.

“Did these people kill them?” The man pointed at Ark and his group.

“You can’t blame them; they didn’t show the proof so they were considered as enemy.” Edward said.

The man sighed and said, “I did warn them not to rush.”

“Let’s leave, my daughter should be waiting.” Edward said.

They were about to leave when someone shouted, “Stop.”
