《The summoner》The beginning

In a dark night, a middle aged man was running while looking back in horror, along with him was a 13 year old boy and he was sweating. You could see the pain in his face and he was gasping for air, the man looked at his son and stopped running. He came and squatted in front of his son, “Are you all right? Let’s rest for a while.”
“No father I am okay and we have to hurry or they will catch up.” The boy said while trying to smile but the man could see the fear in his eyes.
The man sighed and stood up; he could hear the voices of people following them. He knew that they couldn’t outrun them, so he decided to sacrifice himself to let his son live. He searched his pocket and found a pen, he wrote a number in his son’s hand and said, “This is your mother’s number call her after you reach somewhere safe, I will try to stall for time.”
“No dad let’s run together, I won’t leave you.” The boy had tears in his eyes.
“Jack, listen carefully. They won’t kill me because I am still valuable to them but if the catch you, then you will be imprisoned. I can’t let that happen.”
Although Jack was 13 he was very mature although he didn’t want to leave his father, he knew that he would be a burden so with tears in his eyes he ran away in the opposite direction. Jack couldn’t go to the police because the man behind their pursuit was very powerful and even the police couldn’t do anything.
“Dad I will save you.” Jack muttered.
As he was running he glanced at the number written in his hand but instead of joy he grew angry. He spat in his hand and rubbed the number making it unrecognizable. There was no love but hatred for his mother, his mother left him and his father for money and she already had children from another man. His mother hadn’t visited him even once after the divorce. He knew that she was a CEO of some company and he had seen her on TV.

Jack had run for fifteen minutes and he was very tired, the place was isolated and he hadn’t seen a vehicle in the road. He sat down under a tree and to rest for a while. He looked behind but he didn’t see anyone following him but he wasn’t happy because he knew that his father was captured. Jack didn’t know the reason they wanted to capture his father he just knew that his father was a great scientist and the one to order the capture was his father’s boss.
After resting Jack started walking and moving forward, Jack finally saw a vehicle after 3 hours. It was a large truck and he climbed the back of it, he didn’t have anyone so he didn’t care where the truck went.
Kathmandu City
There were around 30 students in the class; a male teacher was taking lecture on physics. He wrote some questions and said, “Jack, can you solve this question?”
Jack stood up and went towards the board; he was around 175 cm tall and had short black hair with black eyes. The body was toned and he had a good looking face. He solved the questions and went towards his seat, the teacher was impressed and praised him loudly, “Every one you must be like him, and it is your final year so work hard.”
Jack was 18 years old and it had been around 5 years since the incident, he came to this city and had to struggle a lot. No one gave him jobs since he was minor and he had to starve for few days but a kind lady took him in her house and adopted him as her child. The lady was a widow and she had no child, she saw Jack when he came to ask for work in her restaurant. She sent him to school and gave him everything that he required; he didn’t get the love from his mother so when the lady loved him he was very happy. Jack worked hard and got full scholarship; he also took part in wrestling and was one of the best in the district.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.
