They went to eat in the sweets store, bought clothes together, and even though Tulip was bad at it, they even played in the arcade.

It was night time when they finally came back to the flower shop.

"Where's granny?"

"She's probably in the back getting something, I'll look for her!"

"Can I come with you?"

Chiyo was a bit curious as to what the inside of Tulip's house is.

She hasn't been friends with Tulip for so long, but she know how much of a good person she is.

She wants to be able to hang out in her house too.

"Okay! I'm sure granny would be happily serve you some of her great tea!"

They then entered the house.

It was a Japanese styled house that seems old with cracks here and there.

The floor creaked as well as they did so.

They kept walking but for some reason, noticed something unusual.

"That's weird. Why are all the lights turned off? I know granny wants to conserve energy, but this-"

Suddenly, before they could approach a doorway, Chiyo's eyes widened.

"I-"

Chiyo suddenly grabbed Tulip and covered her mouth.

"Hmm-"

"Are you sure they're even gonna come?"

From inside the room where the doorway is, a man's voice was heard.

"Some of the other guys apparently saw them going away earlier. You know the little girl, right? From the sources, they said her grandma's a worrywart. She'll probably come back here early."

"Still, seriously? I know that brat's hella rich, but I've never seen someone so spoiled and bitchy as to get her own classmate be abducted."

Chiyo's eyes widened as she heard this.

Tulip started feeling scared as well.

"Come on, pay's good, right? And she did say we could do anything with the girls. Imagine that, it's all you fuck."

"That's why I told you to wear your ski mask after entering."

"I might get caught, you fucker. I don't want anyone seeing my face."

"If they saw you enter with a ski mask on, it'll look more suspicious."

Chiyo felt a bit scared as well, just kept her guard for Tulip.

"We need to get out of here…"

They were whispering so the men won't hear them, but they really wanted to rush out.

"W-what about granny?"

"We need to call the police. If we just barge in there, we'd just be in the same situation."

They both quietly stepped towards the entrance.

The door was still open outside, so they planned to just walk out.

Suddenly though, as they continued doing so.

Another large bodied man seemed to walk from the side to the entrance.

His eyes immediately went scowling when he saw them.

"YOU TWO!"

Chiyo, hearing this, quickly decided to pull Tulip with her upstairs.

They both ran from them and walked up.

"They're upstairs! Get them!"

The man told the other guys off.

Quickly, Chiyo and Tulip looked for a place to hide.

"Chi-chi-chan…what are we gonna do..!?"

Tulip seemed really scared and teary-eyed as this happened.

"Tulip…"

She suddenly saw a closet on the corner of the room.

"Here!"

The men quickly looked through the place.

They searched through the rooms and kept looking for them.

In a certain room, a couple of them were searching away too.

"Ch-chi-chan…I'm scared..."

Tulip and Chiyo were hugging inside the closet, while hiding behind the clothes.

"D-don't worry about it. Okay? Just stay calm…"

Chiyo was getting even more scared as well. There was no way they could go out of this situation now.

If they check the closet, they'll definitely be caught.

Right now, all they could do…was hope.

'Damn it!'

Chiyo had slight tears in her eyes as well as she hugged Tulip tighter.

'I'm a magician, right? Is there anything I could do? To trick them? To get out of this situation? I… I hate it… Why am I so powerless?'

Chiyo was feeling really scared but kept a hopeful heart.

"Have you checked in that closet over there?"

'I hate it… I hate it so much… Please... I wish I could just do magic... I wish I could just save both of us from this situation…If only…I wish I could just make this all…an illusion…'

Suddenly…

"Huh? There they are!"

"Get them!"

Sounds of footsteps were heard as the guys from the room suddenly ran out somewhere.

Hearing this, Chiyo and Tulip showed a surprised expression.

'What just…?'

Feeling curious… Chiyo slowly opened the closet.

"They're gone!"

Chiyo and Tulip then stood up and looked at the doorway to see if there's anyone else there.

"What just…happened?"

"Tulip-chan…"

It was the next day when Chiyo went to class.

Tulip seemed to have not come to class for some reason though.

Both Rina and the transfer student seemed to not have went to the class as well.

"Have you heard the news? Apparently, a bunch of shady men were seen wandering around class rep's house. One of the men sold his comrades out and told the police about what they were planning. It was said that they wanted to abduct class rep and the girl with her…."

A student told another student.

Chiyo was curious about this, but only eavesdropped from her seat.

"What's more is that it was said that…

…Maeda-san was the head of the operation."

Chiyo's eyes widened as she heard this.

'Rina…'

"She was arrested yesterday and was brought to the police. The article said she'll be in a juvenile correction center for a few years."

"I also heard that the whistleblower was one of our classmates. The story was that, the classmate was persuaded by Maeda-san to join them, but he felt guilty and decided to turn himself in in he end."

"That's really a shock. Class rep's probably traumatized by this whole situation. That's why she didn't go to class."

Chiyo knew though, that that was not the reason…

It was a rainy day, when Tulip and a few of her relatives stood there, crying at the scene.

Chiyo just looked at it with a serious expression.

They were all wearing black in a field with lots of tombs in it.

There, a casket was being lowered as Tulip and her family cried.

"Granny!"

During their encounter with the men, an old woman died due to a heart attack.

Apparently, the men tied her up and decided to bound her to make sure she couldn't say anything.

The fear that was brought to her though, caused her entire world to shatter, as her heart failed.

'…Why…?'

Chiyo was pissed by this.

'Why do the good people have to suffer?'

She was angry about what happened and hated it with her whole heart.

'I gave my all into taking care of Rina… I acted like her sister…'

She clenched her fist as she cried.

'If only…if only…I could be…a hero… If only I saved her…If only if I had the power to…'

Chiyo's anger was swept away by her tears.

From a far though, stood a beautiful woman, holding an umbrella, watching the scene from a distance.

Suddenly, as class was still going by, the announcer at the radio called for Chiyo.

"Oh. Mayou-san please head to the principal's office now."

"On it, sir."

She felt confused as to why she would be suddenly called, but followed suit.

Akira slowly opened his eyes to see himself back in his bedroom.

'Huh? What time is it? Where am I…?'

He slowly pulled his torso up as he scratched his head.

For some reason, Akira felt as if a few memories from his past suddenly flashed in his mind.

Feeling a little bit woozy, he turned the door knob in his room.

"Did something happen to him?"

"A-akira-sama isn't the type to skip class! He probably just didn't f-feel well today."

Akira started hearing some voices from downstairs in their living room.

Since he was half-asleep though, he didn't seem to notice 'something'.

'Is that love girl? What are they doing here…?'

Akira decided to greet them so he immediately went for.the living room as soon as he got downstairs.

"You're really something, aren't you, Ishikawa-san. You've really surprised us twice in just one day.", the dark blue haired senpai from the newspaper club said with an amused smile.

"Yeah. Quit it with the- wait…what do you mean twice?"

"I didn't know the tough guy you is actually an obsessed otaku."

Akira started sweating buckets as he heard that.

Suddenly as they were chatting together, the dark blond haired female senpai from the Journalism club and the blond haired male senpai walked next to him.

"Can we talk to you about something?"

Akira felt curious, but at the same time, hungry, so he decided to eat some chips while he spoke with them.

"Sure. What's up?"

"It's about…ummm…Mayou-san."

"You mean Illusion girl? What about her?"

The female senpai showed a concerned expression as she looked at the blond haired senpai, he showed her a difficult expression as well.

Hearing this, the others seem to have felt curious and listened intently at what she was saying.

Akira kept eating chips as they continued questioning him.

The two showed a somehow guilty expression as if they didn't want to say what they were gonna say but still chose to do so.

"Apparently, a lot of people have seen her walking around with an older handsome guy."

Akira's mind suddenly remembered someone he saw just yesterday.

[It surprised Akira to see an unknown man before him.

He had pale skin, fixed brown hair, violet eyes, and was wearing a what seems to be his work outfit, a tuxedo.

Although he looks older, he looked so handsome, he looked like a model that normally shows up in magazines.]

"They said they saw her hanging around with him a lot. They seem very close."

Akira just kept an indifferent expression as he continued crunching on some chips.

"There was also a rumor about a fourth year senpai involving her...

The others hearing this started to realize what they were saying. Koka seemed to start to be irritated, while the others seem worried and concerned.

The brown haired senpai just kept a smile as she stared at Akira.

Even Kami wanted to say something as to defend Chiyo, but it seems like he doesn't know what to say.

From the wall before the entrance of the living room, stood a familiar figure.

She had long black hair with brown at the tips.

Her eyes were slightly sad as she heard their words.

In Akira's mind a certain scene suddenly flashed.

[He saw her standing in front of a tree with what seems to be a random handsome guy pinning her on the wall.

The handsome guy had a black earing, had his blue hair brushed up as he showed her a smile.

He wasn't doing anything too creepy, but he did had one of his hands on the wall, pinning Chiyo to it.

"So…what do you think?"

He seemed to be really confident as he said so.

Chiyo showed the guy a smile as if she was planning to tell him something.

It happened behind the school building, so Akira was stood near the corner listening in.]

Ken seemed to be irritated as well, as he clenched his fist.

"Just by the way she dresses, acts and all that I really don't think you should ever consider starting a relationship with her, if you could, Ishikawa."

"Just listening to rumors without basis wouldn't be good for your journalistic career if you plan to seriously follow it. Maybe you should try looking if your accusations were any significant first."

"What are you saying? Didn't you hear-"

"First of all, we don't really have a right to judge her. It's her own body, if she wants to take care of her lust then it's fine, but let me just set you straight here.

The older guy she was with, isn't he just her brother?"

The members of the newspaper club's eyes widened their eyes.

Hearing this, the others' expressions suddenly turned more lively.

Megumi showed a smile as she stared at Akira.

Kami nodded his head and smiled as he heard Akira's words.

It felt like the dark atmosphere from earlier suddenly turned bright.

From beside the doorway, stood Chiyo who's face…

…was completely, and fully red.

She was showing an embarassed face as she heard something beating...faster and faster.…inside her chest.

"Ow!"

"Hahaha! I knew our Akira would find the right words to say! If Mayou-san was here, she'd probably fall for you immediately!" Kami said as he suddenly hit his fist on Akira's arm with an amused smile.

"Sh-shut up. I just say what I want."

"Yeah, yeah. That's our Akira alright."

"Ow ow ow ow ow! Get the fuck off!"

Ken suddenly put his arm around Akira's shoulder as he noogied Akira's head.

"A-akira-sama! Why do you know so much about Chi-chiyo-chan!"

"Yeah! How'd you know all that?"

Bother Koka and Ai seemed bothered by what Akira said.

"Ah, that's because I had a date with- I mean nothing."

"I heard that Akirachi. Our little boy is growing up now, isn't he?"

Everyone started getting chatty as they kept teasing or urging Akira.

They were suddenly surprised though as the sound of quick footsteps were heard near the doorway.

Akira was confused as well as to who was there…

But suddenly he noticed…

The brown tips of her hair swayed through the air before she could leave.

Suddenly, Akira felt himself scrunch up.

He normally could say compliments to people, but what he said to Chiyo, to him, was just creepy.

Him knowing so much about her although they've only spent a small time together made Akira think that if Chiyo heard what he said, she'd probably think he was creepy.

Due to this, again Akira was in a mental dilemma as his face fell on the table again.

Chiyo suddenly glomped her mom and rubbed her head on her shoulder.

"I missed you so much!"

"Well, it looks like you're done with the tsundere act."

Chiyo just escorted Akira and came back home when she suddenly hugged her mom.

She was reading a magazine on her hands while sat in the living room's couch.

She didn't seem surprised at all at the sudden change of attitude from Chiyo.

"I-I don't want others to know I'm a mommy's girl. Especially that Ishikawa. He'll probably just tease me about it."

"He did look like quite the troublemaker."

"Y-yeah…"

Chiyo showed a hopeful look as she stared at her mom.

"What is it, Chi-chan? Is there something you want?

"Mom, can we sleep together again?"

"Did something happen?"

Chiyo's mom showed a worried look at Chiyo as she asked this.

"Really? You seemed really unnerved since earlier, as if you're concerned about someone."

"Before he left, he immediately decided to take the train to leave us two to bond here. He knew you wanted to stay here with me."

"I'm just guessing here, so I don't really know the whole picture...but when he left, I think he knew you wanted to spend some time with me, and he didn't want to interrupt that."

Chiyo's eyes widened as she heard this.

"It was an option that was way more convenient and less of a hassle than forcing himself in a crowded train. If he just let me drive him home, he would've gotten home quicker, but he decided to just go straight home and avoid that."

"Earlier, when he said those words he immediately pointed his eyes on the rose you gave right there. He knew just how much of a spoiled child you are."

"I've experienced lots of stuff while taking care of you, Chi-chan. I've met lots of people as well, and I'm confident that I have a solid grasp on how to see through people and their motives. If it was someone with bad intentions you were with, I would have never invited him in our house, but that guy…

Chiyo's mom placed her palm on the back of Chiyo's head as she rubbed her hair.

"His eyes were much more determined than any other guy's I've ever seen before. He had this bad glare he kept all the time, but there was this special thing about them, as if they were those that would never linger."

"I just want to tell you this, Chi-chan, but I believe he's the kind of guy who would risk everything, just to protect you."

Chiyo's eyes widened as she heard this.

Chiyo sat in what seems to be the clinic, next to Akira's body.

Kana was standing next to her looking at Akira.

"He's a weird guy, isn't he? I really didn't expect that from him."

"What do you mean? Can you please tell me what happened? Why were you guys involved? And what was Ri-chan's ability?"

"… I bet you've already got something in mind, don't you?"

"Does she have some sort of mind manipulation ability? Is that why she was able to make Ishikawa follow him all over?"

"Close. But no, it's way different. It might seem like she was controlling Akira, but that was just a slight part of it, most of it was Akira's free will."

"Desire enhancement. That was the term given by the council about her ability, the ability to enhance desires."

"The girl did a couple of things with Akira that was necessary to be able to control him to do her bidding. This was not that noticeable though, because normally, a skill that makes you 'more horny' is not something people would think exists."

Chiyo showed an incredulous expression as she heard this.

Chiyo kept running through the fields reminiscing those recent memories.

[From Akira's line of sight though, a car was speeding from their left, about to hit Chiyo.

Akira showed an incredulous expression though as he felt how incredibly weak his ability is compare to them.

A large wall of stone immediately spawned from the ground, striking their opponents upwards.

"Team Flint Ishigaki and Lailah Kawaguchi wins the sixth year tournaments!"

"That was a long time ago, besides I bet if the villain were to attack us now, he'd be the one saving me." Akira replied with a normal expression.

Akira sighed as they finished their exams.

"Finally after so long."

They were able to finish their midterm exams today as they started to relax.

"It was pretty easy, as long as you kept studying."

Akira was stretching as he just finished answering his questionnaire.

"That's it for today, your highnesses. Tomorrow we will be announcing your exam results.", said Sir Knight.

The class started to stand up as they prepared their bags to go home.

"Still. It was kind of easier than I thought it would be."

"Sir Knight only handicapped us by making sure no one would study only before the exams. He never said it was gonna be too hard."

"Speak for yourselves. Hard being geniuses in this school, huh?", Kami approached them while carrying his bag.

"Geniuses, my ass. If you actually studied rather than mess around during our study sessions, you would have done better."

Suddenly though, as they were talking…

Chiyo suddenly interrupted them.

She seemed to be showing a flustered face as she approached Akira.

Chiyo just stood there for a few seconds then turned around and walked away.

Kami and the others just all looked at Akira with a wry smile.

"Just what you'd expect from our friendly neighborhood playboy."

"Playboy my ass. Illusion girl's been avoiding me for a month now. I don't know what I even did wrong."

"Did wrong? You mean what you did right. You did say you think you saw her when you said all that on the table in your home, right?"

"What are you talking about?"

"It's nothing, just wait for a while. She's probably too conscious of you to talk to you for now."

Kami just showed him a bright smile as to relieve his worries.

'What the hell are they talking about…?'

It was finally the day where they get their results.

Akira was stood there looking at his score.

'Huh? 20th, huh. Not a bad score.'

Out of 200 students from the from the support class, Akira was ranked 20th for their midterm exams.

"Akira…I passed! I'm so glad!"

Kami was crying tears of joy as he saw his results.

"Yeah, yeah cut that out."

The others were also there talking about their results.

Even the girls were looking there. Checking what they got…

One girl there, stood there, looking at Akira from afar.

Maiki was with everyone, checking her score from the board so she wasn't with her.

She immediately gulped as she stared him.

As if she finally gained the courage she hurriedly rushed towards him.

"Like I said the questions in the first page was probably-"

As Akira and Keima were discussing about the exam.

A certain girl suddenly hugged Akira from behind squeezing her soft chest on his back.

"Heya, Akira! What did you get for the exam?"

It was Chiyo, she showed a cute smile as she hugged Akira.

"Wh-what the hell are you doing? G-get off of me!"

Akira suddenly blushed as she did this.

"Come on, Akira! Don't tell me my charm doesn't work on you anymore?"

"J-just get off of me- I -I got 20th, ok? That's it. This is really embarrassing-"

"Thank you."

Suddenly though, as he kept trying to wiggle her away, those words suddenly came out from her mouth.

Words that felt so tender and full of love as she squeezed tighter on him.

"Wanna go out with me?"

Akira's eyes widened as he heard this.

"Wh-what?"

"J-joking! I'm just joking haha! You really are just so cute, aren't you, Akira?"

"Yeah…shut up."

Chiyo showed him a loving smile as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"A-akira-sama? What's going on here?"

"Chiyo? Why don't you get off of him for now? You seem to have forgotten to give Akira some personal space."

"A-akira, you pervert! Get away from her!"

Ai, Megumi and Koka complained at them as they saw this scene.

"T-tell her off, it's not like I want this-"

"Oh come on, really? I know you like feeling my chest. You're just that kind of pervert, aren't you?"

"Wh-what the hell are you saying? Of course I-"

The three girls seem to be getting more and more irritated at the second.

"W-wait…I have nothing to do with this...I…"

Chiyo suddenly pulled Akira's wrist as she tugged him away.

"Wh-what? A-akira-sama?"

"Chiyo-chan! Come back here!"

"Akira, you pervert!"

"Where the hell are you bringing me?"

"Anywhere!"

"What?"

Chiyo then stopped as she turned at the girls following them.

She then pulled her eyelid and showed her tongue at them as to mock them.

"He's mine now."

Akira's eyes widened as well as he heard that.

"Wha-"

The girls seemed completely enraged by this.

Even the usually cute Ai seemed to be in complete rage.

They then ran off and followed after Chiyo, who kept pulling Akira away with a smile.
