《Rain Revert (Reboot)》Volume 3 Chapter 50

V3 Chapter 50
Shaking his head, Rain could only ignore this kind of very sensitive topic for now and started eating his meal.
Hot and spicy, and extremely delicious as well. As expected of a Lv3 Cooking skill. Even though he only made it simply with ordinary ingredients, the taste was high class.
Although he is confident of his cooking skills, accumulated through a dozen years living alone, but Rain knows his limitation.
At most, he was above average, one that could perhaps be comparable to that of a good street stall. But he is still far from an elite restaurant chef level.
However, with his skill, his ability was enhanced even more. Right now, with the level of his skill, he was even confident that he can beat, if not at least, rival those professionals. It truly is like a Magic.
If what the Grimoire said is true, then was this world modeled after an MMORPG novel or fantasy online Game?
Eating more than his fill, Rain also prepared Zarda and Lafetti’s share as well, setting them out in the table, for when they get up.
There was no way they could miss the sight of them, let alone not smell them. Their senses of smell are almost better than his own, which was superhumanly enhanced.
After preparing the food for the two beautiful Lamian lovers of his, Rain finally had the time to wash as well. No reason to stink like a wild man if you didn’t have to. He took with him the [Kore] sap, which was used as soap, and went towards the nearby river.
Although he wanted to use the bathtub at the back of the house, there was no water, and it would be quite tiresome to once again stop and travel back and forth from the river to here just to fill it in.
He also didn't have the decency to wake up Lafetti as well just to ask her to fill the bathtub using water magic. Nor ask the other Lamians who has a good water affinity, selfishly just for it.
Apart from that, another reason is that it’s good to swim in a bigger place as well, like a river or lake sometimes. After living like a savage inside the Dungeon for quite a long time, he has the urge to stretch his limbs, and swim in cool water. It could him loosen up, and relax.
Walking through the village, he saw some Lamians already awake and at work. They happily greeted him as they met. There were even some who embraced him intimately, and saying ‘welcome back’, ‘it’s good that you’re back and safe’ and so on, which somewhat made him really happy.
Though, the fact that every Lamian he met and saw came over and hugged him happily made him somewhat feel like a Celebrity visiting. Nevertheless, it was fun and peaceful, so he walked rather happily to the nearby river where the Lamians often get their supply of water.
Living in the Dungeon, actually, aside from that one time, at the end where they were about to return, he hadn’t been able to properly wash in weeks and for a modern man who loved bath, he was starting to feel more like an animal than a man.
Though, Zarda and Lafetti didn’t seem to mind and even liked his smell, is what they said. But even if they didn’t dislike it, as a modern man who likes to even take a bath twice a day, not having one for a day, much less a week, is completely uncomfortable. Still, it was not to the point of being called a clean freak, he still much preferred everything clean and neat. In fact, he can be obsessive sometimes in regards to cleanliness.

*Rustle! Woooosh!
Rain heard the water long before he saw it. The sound of it assured him that nothing had changed. It even feels as if the thing about the Dungeon had all been just a dream. The familiar scenery, the people, the feeling, the wind, it feels totally normal. Or perhaps this is because he now felt this place as his own home?
Whatever the case, he truly feels as if this place was where he felt at ease, more comfortable, and at peace, much more than when he was still living in the orphanage.
Despite all the love and care, he was given, it’s as if there was always lacking. But here? He felt as if he truly belongs here.
Rain walked through the overgrown bushes and humungous trees. Despite this place, quite a bit far from the village, perhaps around 15 to 20 minutes walking distance from the village to the river, but this place was quite safe and free from wild and dangerous monsters and magical beasts.
That is because the Lamians regularly guard and hunt this place, chasing and killing monsters that might be deemed dangerous. After all, resources such as water and food from the river are quite an important necessity for them. And also the fact that Lamians travel this path often than not, making it safe and secure is a must.
Rain finally arrived in the river, feeling the incredible and cooling negative ions that struck his face and body. However, when he arrived, he was greeted by quite a lot of people.
Well, something not unexpected. At this time of the day, there would be quite a lot of Lamians that come into the river, doing the usual chores they had. Though, at this time, aside from the Lamians, most were actually children happily playing around. There is even Starl, who’s laughter echoed in the forest like a jingling of sleigh bells. It’s quite pleasant to listen.
“Ah, it’s Rain!!”
“Rain!!”
“You came to wash as well?”
“Want to play?!”
When he was sighted, the children happily rush towards him.
“Yeppii,”
Rain chuckled in amusement as he grabbed Starl’s waist and lifted her up. She was the one charging like a mad bull, and if he didn’t do that, she would surely crash at him. And with the current toughness of his body, she would certainly get hurt.
Still, the way she wiggled in laughter, was so cute and adorable that he, who wanted to somehow scold her for her reckless charge could only smile wryly.
“Playing in the water?”
Starl nodded happily from his question.
“That’s good,”
Rain stroke her hair with his free hand and laugh.
“Aah, no fair, me next!”
“No me!”
“Wait, it’s my turn! I came first!”
The children started fighting. Some even desperately clung to him, coiling their cute tails around him. Though, Rain he if they did it after he washed himself. He still smells funny, especially the after fragrance of the previous heated night.
“Okay, okay, don’t fight. Let’s play in the water, shall we?”
The children clapped their hands, obviously delighted.
“Ahh,” Starl pouted after Rain put her down. But she smiled again when her hand was held.
Really, she became too attached, doesn’t she?
He led the children back to the water, where they immediately dived and played around chasing each other and splashing water droplets. Now, he’s all wet from head to toe. Though, even his clothes were drenched. Still, watching them happily play around, he can’t help but feel some nostalgia, missing the children in the orphanage.

I hope they are fine… he smiled faintly.
Pulling his shirt up over his head he immediately worked to clear his head. Dropping his pants, ripping his socks off, and working himself out of his boots. Afterward, he immediately dove into the frigid cold water.
It wasn’t similar to ice water really, but it wasn’t far from it.
Rain savored the cold pricking in his skin. With his enhanced physical toughness, the cold that would have chilled him before is now nothing to him.
The chilling water that is enough to make an adult shivered in cold, was like normal mild water for him now.
It seems like his Cold Resistance had also gone up.
The only problem he had right now was that the moment he entered the water, Starl who nearby hurriedly jumped on him, naked. Excuse me, but he’s not a lolicon. Even still, having her young body plastered carelessly on him, especially her smooth tail coiling around him, and abdomen hitting against his member, it would be impossible to not feel anything. He’s not impotent for heaven’s sake.
“Starl, you can’t suddenly do that,” Rain hurriedly said as he slowly peels her off. Fortunately, the cold water did its job. Both to keep his mind clear of any strange thoughts, and other distractions. If not, wouldn’t the readers start calling the FBI to arrest him?
“Do what?”
Starl tilted her head adorably as she asked the question.
Ah, the innocence of youth… now, Rain felt bad, feeling something weird with their intimacy.
That’s right, she’s just a child. A child. He shook his head and can only sigh. Smiling gently at the confused expression of the little girl, he let her do what he wanted. He would be scum and perhaps, even worse than a monster if he would even think strange things at this moment.
Starl, on the other hand, without knowing about his turmoil, laughed happily and then rubbed her head against his chest like a spoiled little girl. The other children seemed to have become jealous as well, and to Rain’s dismay, joined, nuzzling around his side, their arms and tails splayed and the water splashed along with them, happily laughing and having fun. Now, he was at the center of the children playing around. Rain could only smile wryly at this scene.
This kind of scene would surely make every lolicon die in envy.
Reaching for the bottle of the Kore Sap, he then spilled some on his palm, and rubbed it against his body, lathering himself up. He also used some towards Starl. However, “Ah, big brother, I don’t want! It stings!”
As Rain traced the body of the young girl with the bubbled kore sap, she let out a tearful cry. It seems like although she didn’t hate water, or taking a bath, she completely dislikes the Kore Sap. Perhaps, it’s because when it hits the eye, it somewhat stings. Like a soap or shampoo?
Nevertheless, despite its inconvenience sometimes, it’s needed.
“You need to properly clean yourself, you know. A good girl needs to be clean, so that she will always be healthy.” Rain let out a wry sigh as he felt water bubbles splashed on his face. “So stay still, and stop splashing things,”
“Eeh, I’m very healthy!” she said. Though her face seemed to shine in satisfaction. And she even had already stopped waving her hands wildly. No matter what Rain said, Starl would surely obey him without hesitation.
Rain shook his head, somewhat proud that even with this he felt no arousal. His junior not reacting. So, I guess there’s no problem, after all. At least, he’s normal…
“Ouch, it stings!!”
Starl cried out as the bubbles reached her eyes, despite her closing them.
“It’s just for a bit—and this wouldn’t have happened if you had properly taken a bath always. You should wash up every day; you’re a girl so you should focus on cleanliness. Look! Your fingers are like raisins. How are you this dirty anyway? Did you not take a bath since yesterday?”
The little girl moaned and groaned along the bathing process. Having finished washing the girl’s body, he poured a pitcher of water over her face softly to rinse her face.
“Okay, you’re good. Now play over there, but don’t play in muddy places anymore, okay?”
He let go of Starl, and then turned his attention to another girl. However, just like Starl, it seems like most children really hate taking a bath, and they hurriedly scattered away, giggling and laughing.
He can only chase after them, and the bathing session turned into playing cat and mouse. Though they dislike it, it seems like no one tried to run away and instead swam around the river—or perhaps, they think Rain was playing with them and happily went along with it.
Shaking his head, he sat on the shore after finally washing the last kid he had caught, and the children resumed playing by themselves, laughing and giggling like little angels, splashing water and chasing each other. This kind of peace and tranquility is something he deeply loves.
Savoring the peace and quiet moments he was having, Rain closed his eyes.
The water seemed to have a relaxing effect on his quite exhausted body. Bathing was extremely comfortable.
While leaning on the rock, and relaxing, he took out his smartphone. Looking at the screen, one can see the Black Book Icon, the Grimoire located at the upper, left of the screen.
Opening it was like opening another home screen as there were several icons that could be seen.
[Profile], where his Character Attributes could be found, like a status screen, but more detailed.
[Skill List], the comprehensive list of all his skills and their description and levels.
[Item List]—a Storage Space where he can store things and items, though cannot store living things.
[Familiar/Pet App], similar to [Item List] but only living creatures that Rain had tamed, though, for now, it’s still empty.
[Harem App] where the list of all women he had loved and acknowledged as lover or wife could be seen—now, only has two people: Zarda and Lafetti Amani.
And lastly, [Kingdom Building App].
There's quite a lot of new Applications. But as he browse through them, what caught his attention more, is the [Kingdom Building App].
This was the [Territory Building System] he had heard from the Grimoire that can turn the entire village into his territory. And from what he knows, once do so, would have the capability to distort the law, and turn into something similar to a Game Simulation.
A combination of a Farm+City+Kingdom Building Simulation Game.
Rain was most concerned and most interested in this ability due to the fact that it could be an incredible boost to improve and develop the entire village.
This could be my hope to turn the Village into something safer and more secure for the others…
At this moment, his desire to improve and develop the village was much stronger than before. In fact, it was to the point when he wanted to do it, and realized this dream as soon as possible.
Perhaps, it's got something to do with the fact that, he will now become a father, with his child growing in Zarda's womb. The desire to build a safe haven for them is growing strong by the minute.
I will surely make a paradise for them. If this world is a harsh place for the Lamians, then I will deny this world, and make a better world myself!
He declared inwardly.
For the sake of my children, I will change this twisted world!
Gods or Demons, Humans or Monsters, I will kill those who stand on my way!
Having those expectations and sense of responsibility, his dream for a brighter, and better future strengthened into full resolution.
He pressed the icon of the [Kingdom Building App].
When he opened the App, what greeted him was a Game-like screen. In fact, it almost looks like any mobile Kingdom Building Games he had seen before. And even played actually.
He looked at the game-like screen, where small houses-like icons made of wood and bamboo stood.
Clicking on the Village Icon at the right top of the screen, more detailed information appeared.
