“Just die alreaddddy!!!”

Lafetti went right up to the monster’s face, leaning her body to dodge its attack, and then she jumped and hit it in the face with her sword. A large, gruesome wound appeared on the monster's face, even its bones could already be seen. And yet, it has yet to even fall down—

The Monster's resilience and vitality were incredibly absurd for its kind.

The Goblin Champion roared out loud, and in anger smashed its spiky club at her. At this moment, Granite appeared in front of Lafetti and quickly raised her shield, blocking the attack. Perhaps, whether it was fatigue, or the wounds on its body finally taking its toll on it, its strength had significantly decreased over time. And even Granite was finally overpowering it.

At this moment, the importance of Potions and Tonics finally showed its true worth. Granite and the others felt refreshed and energized compared to the Goblin Champion who seemed to have already been exhausted.

With a cold snort, Granite charged her shield and rammed it against the Goblin Champion. She activated Shield Bash. With increased speed, she instantly crashed into the wobbling Goblin Champion.

The Goblin Champion was startled. Such a fast charge!? It tried to block her with its enormous weapon and succeeded in reducing Granite's impact. However, although the damage was very small, the force was still large enough to knock the monster to the ground. Immediately, Lafetti coiled her long tail on the Goblin Champion to restrict it.

The Goblin Champion wanted to break free, but Lafetti’s strength was not something you can just easily ignore. Rain can affirm it.

As Lafetti stabbed her sword on its chest, at this moment, Rain suddenly appeared at the Goblin Champion’s back, his hand holding his favorite dagger. His left hand, however, gleamed dimly and thin, white silk started coming out at the tips of his fingers—when the Goblin Champion was about to break through Lafetti’s restriction using the sudden power from its pain, it suddenly noticed that sticky threads suddenly coiled around is body. It tried to struggle free, but the thin spider-thread-like silk was harder than it had expected.

Rain immediately took this chance, and climbs on top of the Goblin Champion’s shoulders, and started stabbing his dagger on its head.

The Goblin Champion roared loudly, its roar seemed to shook even the entire mausoleum. However, as Rain continued his stabbing actions, he realized that the monster’s skull was actually as hard as metal, as only Clang! Clang! metallic noises echoed when he stabbed its head. And to think, it was still even alive. It had not even passed 5 seconds when the muscles of the Goblin Champion expanded—

Baang!! Rooooar!!

The Goblin Champion break away from its restraints, and its arms grabbed his legs. Surprisingly even Lafetti’s restriction was cast off—what an unbelievable strength.

"Gah?!"

The mere grip of its hand was already enough to make Rain felt as if his bones were going to be broken into powder.

“Rain, get off from there!”

Lafetti cried out worriedly, and she appeared in front of the Goblin Champion. Her sword already in mid-swing, clashed against the Goblin Champion’s weapon that was rushing towards Rain, intending to knock him off—but with that power it possesses, it would surely not stop of him being knocked off.

No, I can't!

I need to kill him now!

Kill-!!

"Raaaahhhh!!"

Rain let out a roar, and in desperation, his eyes turned icy blue, and long canines appeared on his mouth—even grey fur started to grow on his cheeks, arms, while snow-white fur on his hands. His long nails turned into sharp, long claws that seemed to radiate a metallic shine.

Letting out a loud, deafening howl, Rain stabbed his claws at either side of the monster’s head, in clear desperation—blood spurted like a fountain, and even the Goblin Champion knelled on the ground while giving out a horrible, loud scream.

Rain felt the resistance that had stopped his sharp claws from penetrating further as if he had just stabbed through a thick metal plate. The Goblin Champion’s skull and bones were incredibly hard to the point of it being perverse. Nevertheless, lightning sparks crackled around his arms and then, he shot a lightning bolt directly into its head.

Baaaang!!

Rain’s figure was blasted by the explosion, causing him to crash against the wall.

“Raaain!!”

Lafetti slid across the ground, like a water strider sliding through the water surface, and in a blink of an eye before Rain completely crashed; she appeared behind him, catching him.

Using all her strength, she was able to reduce the impact but still caused them to crashed against the wall. Lafetti immediately coiled herself around him, desperately protecting him from the force of the explosion.

Baaang!!

Laffeti felt her entire body crashing against the wall and even felt some of the bones on her back being broken from the incredible impact. But still, she endured it and held the urge to spat out a mouthful of blood., as they slid towards the ground.

“Lafetti, are you okay?”

Granite came running towards them.

“What about the goddamn monster?”

Lafetti gnashed her teeth, but she immediately calmed herself down.

“Well, you can see for yourself,”

Granite smiled wryly as she glanced at the Goblin Champion, who was still emitting a burning smoke. It was now kneeling on the ground, unmoving. But one thing that would surely catch your attention is the fact that starting from the neck upwards, all flesh and blood had been scorched and had been burned away, leaving only a skull on it, which was burnt black.

Even if it has nine lives, those lives would have been cut short at this moment.

Nothing would be able to survive that, unless, it is an unkillable monster.

“How’s Rain?” she asked worriedly.

Lafetti furrowed her brows and opened her arms. Her expression fell the moment she saw his state. His skin burned, and even his arms were in a bad shape.

“Rain, are you okay? Here, drink this,” she immediately took out a Healing Potion and hurriedly let Rain drink it.

“I’m…okay,”

Rain smiled wryly. Although the attack burned his arms, it was not something he couldn’t endure. And besides his injuries would slowly heal over time. With the support of Lafetti, Rain slowly drunk the healing potion.
