Chapter 42- Eradication Bolt
Roen's plans were impeccable. Other than the small hiccup in the growth of his servants, Roen had planned everything. From the soldiers movements to the Draconis's spells. He had spent the time to study some runes Engil had on him and realized that most of them pertained to spells that originated from ether. All he had to do was modify the runes to be a large ether consuming formation. Roen was never well versed in using ether, so he needed the dwarven weapon to act as a conduit to run the giant spell.
"I feel bloated..." The shining glaive broke the tension. Roen couldn't blame it because currently a massive amount of ether was being channeled through it.
"Suck it up, you dare call yourself a weapon created by a dwarf!" Roen spoke condescendingly towards the whining glaive as he slowly advanced towards the fleeing Draconis.
"Humph, seriously I am made for generals such. Not for mages to channel ether through! Still how much of a monster can you be to create and control such a huge spell?" The glaive retaliated to Roen's insult as it wounded his pride.
"There are many things that you don't need to know. Anyways give me your name or grand spell before I feed you to this." Roen threatened the glaive and the white scales on his arms started to wriggle towards it.
"Stop! Please alright, alright, I'll give you my grand spell, but my name cannot be given to anyone who a don't recognize as my one master!" The glaive was extremely fearful of Roen's cloak. And regretfully sent some of the light that surrounded it up Roen's arm to his head.
Roen paused for a second and digested the specifics of the spell, and a smile spread across his face as he began walking towards the panicking Draconis again.
"Although it can't use it's magic, it can still use it's racial magic and it has that insane body. Plus it is still a royal bloodline Draconis be careful." The glaive warned Roen and the blinding light that surrounded it slowly got pulled into it's black blade.
Roen nodded but didn't verbally answer and stopped a good distance away from the Draconis. It was flying around the fields that it had previously burned examining the pink and purple barrier that trapped it. When the fire that covered it's face saw Roen moving towards it, it's rage reignited and aggressively turned to face Roen.
"WHO ARE YOU?! HOW CAN YOU DO ALL THIS?! WHY DO YOU HAVE MY BRETHREN'S BODY?!" In it's usual booming voice it furiously questioned Roen. However the madness and anger that it held was no longer there, and only confusion remained.

"Seriously I thought you would remember me," Roen sighed and shrugged his shoulders mumbling something about about how he needs to plan better then continued, "Well it doesn't matter who I was, I am now Roen!"
"ROEN? VERY WELL, SINCE YOU CAN OPEN THE DOORS TO THE NIGHTMARE REALM I CANNOT LET YOU LIVE! HOWEVER SINCE I WAS ORIGINALLY JUST A PUPPET OF MY ANGER, AND NOW THAT I HAVE REGAINED MY SANITY I WONT UNDERESTIMATE YOU!" The Draconis grew serious and he mumbled a couple of inaudible words after he spoke. Roen was a little surprised that the Draconis could forget about him, but after he realized that it was originally a being of pure anger a smile of confidence grew on his face.
'This might not be that bad then...' Roen thought to himself as he remembered the backlash of after using that specific spell. He assumed that the spell dissipated due to his giant spell from earlier. And he quickly sent a message to he servants to get everyone out of the barrier.
"'Immortal Anger' right?" Roen suddenly asked with his confident smile.
"YOU... HOW DO YOU..." The Draconis immediately stopped chanting his support spells and took a more cautious approach to Roen after he said the correct spell that it was previously under.
"Hahaha don't worry about it." Roen gave a lazy response and disappeared from his spot.
He reappeared above the giant dragon's head with three purple spheres circling him and purple greaves on his legs. His original scale mail had turned into a tight fitting black suit and two more arms were already formed out of his back.
"Depth Charge!" Two of the purple spheres flew in front of the glaive as Roen thrusted it at the Draconis's head!
BOOM!
An explosion occurred as they collided and Roen flew several feet back. The third purple sphere grew smaller and Roen stabilized himself in the air! The purple greaves were shining brightly and the air underneath Roen felt solid.
"POWERFUL, VERY POWERFUL! YOU ARE A MYSTERIOUS BOY WITH UNREASONABLE METHODS!! I WILL GIVE YOU THE HONOR OF LETTING ME SIPHON OFF YOUR SOUL TO HELP ME RESTORE MY RACE!!" The Draconis was only reeling from the impact and had not real damage done to him. It turned towards Roen, who stood in the air above it, and it saw twenty similar purple spears behind Roen.
"Grand Arc!" The twenty spheres all came to life and turned into twenty long strings. The strings came together and formed into a large purple spear around 20 feet in length. Then it shot out at an unreasonable speed towards the spot Roen had previously hit!

The Draconis tried to evade, but the spear would make impossible twists and turns every time it moved. The spear had locked onto it's target and would not miss.
"Draconis Script!" Following his words thousands of runes of various sizes spread across the scales of the huge mile long Draconis. The space around it rippled and the ripples grew larger around the top of it's head as it tore a opening in the space itself! The ripped hole in space instantly engulfed Roen's purple spear and closed itself off before it could escape.
"YOU FORCED ME TO USE MY RACIAL MAGIC, THIS IS THE END OF THE LINE FOR YOU NOW BOY!!" The Draconis wasn't eager to finish off Roen just yet and seven slivery black spheres formed around it using the ripples of space. These spheres seemed to make the ripples in space curve around it and a pulling force constantly tugged Roen towards them. The force even effected some of the ground below the aerial battle, lifting large and small rocks and pieces of earth into the air.
"Damn, you just had to go and let it use it's racial magic, and to make matters worse it's a spacial distortion magic. I wanna go back to my mountain..." The glaive whined, but it knew the Roen probably had something up his sleeve to handle the situation.
However the Draconis was very mindful of Roen's long range tactics, and willed the ripples in space to start folding in front of him. Then he instantly appeared right behind Roen as if he was there from the beginning! It flipped it's massive body and brought down it's giant tail down on Roen like a mighty whip.
Roen had expected this and quickly rotated his body 180 degrees raising up the pole end of the glaive with his two right arms.
BOOM!
The collision of the two created a shockwave and they both separated a few feet. Roen was already conjuring two purple spheres in his left hand and felt his right arms go numb. He couldn't take many more of those strikes, he needed to get some distance.
However before he started to move he felt like his body was being weighed down by a million weights, and he found it very difficult to move. Four silvery black spheres were around him and the Draconis had found the moment it waited for!
Not wasting a second of Roen's inactivity, it teleported to Roen's side again and this time slashed at him with it's claws. Those claws tore the space it grated against and unerringly flew at Roen. The glaive was screaming at Roen to do something, but Roen had his eyes closed as if he wasn't in the battle anymore.
BOOOOM!
A twenty meter long purple spear traveling at a speed that made it look like a bolt of lightning struck down right on the crown of the Draconis' head!
ROOOOOOAAAAAAR!
An anguished cry rang out from the Draconis in response. Roen held his confident smile and the two purple spheres in his hands changed into chains that started to encase the humongous body of the Draconis.
"You didn't destroy my Arc Spear, you just merely displaced it. That spell will never miss as long as I supply it with enough energy." Roen laughed at the Draconis in chains and raised the glaive above his head. He couldn't really use any spell that could mortally wound the Draconis, but he had many that could disorient it and trap it. And this was his plan all from the start!
A large amount of energy started to flow from the air to Roen and then into the glaive. Silvery veins popped out all over Roen's body and his eyes grew bloodshot. He could feel his muscles ripping and bones snapping under the pressure of the grand spell flowing through him and into the vibrating glaive. Storm clouds formed over head and flashes of lightning and sounds of thunder echoed in Roen's body like in the clouds above. He strained himself as he brought his free left arms to hold onto the pole end of the glaive.
The Draconis was thrashing about in the purple chains, trying to teleport or use his silvery black spheres to break himself free. To his despair every nick or scratch that he created would instantly repair and the cycle would continue. Roen coldly watched the struggling Draconis and brought down the glaive without a second thought.
"Eradication Bolt!"
Light. That is how most would describe it. A blinding light, that consumed all that it touched. It was a heavenly spear that pierced down from the sky and ripped through the very continent itself!
Those who saw it from a distance of around a couple hundred miles away or more could see it clearly. It was a pillar of pure lightning that struck for no more than a second, and it disappeared as fast as it came. The only thing that remained and reminded everyone that what they just witnessed was real, was a gaping hole of what was once a proud kingdom.

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
