Chapter 14- The Party Begins and it's Over
~ P.O.V. Of Intruder Commander ~
Trash! All of them! How am I, an almighty aura user, supposed to become a sorcerer with such a small amount of soldiers! I had awakened my aura 5 years ago and was offered an unknown treasure item that was said to produce a sorcerer. My king sent me on a secret mission to find how to use it. It wasn't until recently that I discovered it liked being around dead bodies. After razing a couple small villages in areas that opposed my king, I found that the orb started to become increasingly darker. This must be the way! I'll kill as many as need be for my king!
"Commander we have run into some troubles!" A soldier came up to my elite squad and reported an abnormality. It's just a medium sized village what's the worse they can do?
"Bring these two and go settle your trifling affair." Pointing at two random knights in my entourage to handle it, I dismissed the matter entirely from my head.
"Sir..."
"What is it now?!"
"To be completely honest I have no idea." My subordinate gave those words and pointed at an incoming figure. It was horrifying. It wore a mask that was made out of a human skull with body armor that formed a scale like pattern. There was a moving red beast underneath the armor seen every so often when the scales would shift and a red undergarment constantly writhing was seen. However the most eye catching thing was a pair of red wings that clearly showed human bones underneath the red film. Through the mask were two bright red eyes and seemed to contain a sea of hatred made even the men who had witnessed the horrors of war more times than there are days in a year shiver with fright.
"Who are y..."
"Shhhhh~, Don't speak, don't move, don't even think. Just stand there right now because to me you are nothing but a bug waiting to be squashed." A thick baritone voice shook the ground and some of the weaker knights fainted on the spot. I, having awakened my aura, overcame the feeling and started working to think who could possibly be under that armor. Probably he is just wearing that to scare us. To think we've been tricked.

"Do you know who we are! We are the direct subordinates of the king of the Thaolos Kingdom! Surrender now and I might offer you a quick death!"
"I already know who you are. You are an unnecessary existence." The beast in armor spoke in his deep voice again and began to walk slowly towards the group of elite knights.
-----------------------------------------
The battlefield that was once filled with screams of villagers changed in a second.
In one part of the village a skinny purple man with glowing blue veins dragged a giant sword behind him leaving an equally large gash in the ground. In front of him was a group of white armored men they were all shivering some holding their swords up high while trying to calm their nerves while others cried and begged for mercy. The purple man's lifeless eyes just gazed at them and increased his speed.
Watching the purple man's advance, the soldiers flinched and the front line raised their shields. The purple man maintained his speed quickly reaching a striking distance of the shield barrier, and with a speed that could only be described as godly a purple line flashed across them. The light tore through metal, flesh, bone as if they were paper. The front line fell in a pool of blood with their eyes open obviously not knowing how their end came.
"Quick, he's overextended, kill him!" The man who had taken the initiative to lead yelled and charged at the purple man before he could ready another strike. A rune that was shining on the giant sword's body quickly dimmed and a different rune lit up. Nobody seemed to notice this occurrence, but they did notice that the purple man was no longer in the area they were rushing to. Then a bright purple light blinded their eyes and they felt something pass along their necks.
The purple man walked over the decapitated bodies with the same lifeless eyes. He wondered until he found another group of breathing humans and repeated his actions, following the orders he was given.

------------------------------------------
In another area two wolves weaved in and out of a group of white armored soldiers randomly killing those who dared to step into their path of destruction. The men were terrified. One wolf was a purple monstrosity sprouting blades from it's skin that could easily pierce their plated armor. The other had a azure aura around it and although most of them had an idea of what it was, they chose not to speak because those who could do such a thing were all treated on the same level as a king. Some came to terms with their fate and others tried to run, but there was no escape unless they were dead.
"You know we make a great team." After the two had slaughtered the armored men the wolf emitting an azure aura spoke to the purple wolf. The purple wolf gave no indication of hearing him and sniffed the air a few time then ran off in a direction that would give it more prey to hunt.
"Quite shy huh." The wolf with the azure aura followed after the purple wolf after it's comment.
------------------------------------------
On the outskirts of the town stood a tanned man with green hair that matched his eyes. He appeared to be wearing a red crown, but if one looked closer the crown was attached to his head. Next to him stood a silhouette that resembled him except it body was made out of odd red vines.
"That should be that last one." Speaking to himself the man gave a nod and a slight smile.
"Now child kill anyone who comes close." The man's cold tone could send shivers down the spine of any battle hardened veteran.
As he said those words the vines gave a little wriggle as if to accept and quietly stood there waiting for any breathing entity to cross it's path.
Suddenly the red vines on it's arm shot out at a blinding speed and engulfed what seemed to be an animal. When the vines returned all that was left was a limp husk of a deer devoid off any organs.
Similar red vine silhouettes were stationed around the village ensuring the death of any who trued to leave.
------------------------------------------
Within a circle of dismembered knights a lone figure stood with red wings coming from his scale like armor. The blood that splattered onto his scale seemed to be pulled into the garment underneath.
The only one alive was a man in white garments holding a black orb tightly in one hand. His thoughts were a mess, his judgment flooded with fear. What is that monster? Why do I have the misfortune to run into it? All the man saw was the monster slowly walk past his elite knights and as they tried to make a move a bright red flash occurred. The knight was dead in a pool of his own blood the next moment. He didn't know if the flash was the monster moving or the results of it's attacks and the blood of his men being spilled.
"W,what are you?"
"You have no need to know." Saying that the man felt his sight become lower for a second and then darkness consumed his thoughts.
The monster's appearance underwent a change and Roen appeared wearing his usual white gown with red trimmings and a dark red sash. He wordlessly went over to the headless body and tore the black orb from his fingers. Then looking back at the body said,
"Don't worry there'll be others following you to keep you company."
