《Blood and Bones》Chapter 2- Kinda Hungry

Everyone gazed at the young child who seemed around the age of 7-8. Everything was off about him from his smooth looking white skin to his dark red rags that drapped over his body as if he recently lost a third of his size. The man in blue who so readily bowed down felt like his gamble betrayed him. Everyone was stunned and no one dared to break the silence as everyone just stared dumbfounded at the boy.
"Hahahaha," Hesso's laugh broke the silence first as his once tense nerves started to loosen up. He was at first extremely afraid of the random expert in the middle of nowhere, but after the boy appeared he seemed to forget about the oppresive feeling from earlier. Turning his attention away from the boy, and he began to materialize his dark green aura from earlier...
Nothing...
Nothing close to an aura appeared around Hesso as if it didn't exist in the first place. As Hesso's thoughts spiraled around all possibilities, but the more he came up with the larger his questions became. The other nine men in white stood there silently awaiting their commander's orders.
The man in blue, who was still kneeling down to the child, tried to make sense of the situation. While Hesso's thoughts were all jumbled up, the man in blue wanted to pose many questions to the child. Why are you here? Who are you? How did you get here? Why the hell am I servant #1?!
"Although your abilities are so-so, I have no idea where I am or what is going on, so I'll give you the pleasure to be my servant. Be grateful little worm not many can say they have this position." The boy spoke in a pleasing voice and if one discarded the contents it would be quite beautiful. The boy's sparkling red eyes looked meaningfully at the man in blue kneeling in front of him. The boy seemed to want an answer to his gracious proposal.

"Thank you for such a outstanding position undeserving for myself, I am known as Engil." The man in blue exhaled the words almost as a sign that showed he was going to place all the bets on this young boy. Seemingly pleased by his answer the young boy nodded his head in approval. After acknowledging Engil the boy turned toward the men in white as a smile spread across his immature face. The smile was warm and filled with emotion almost as if staring at a sun, but instead of feeling joy and comfort to the smile the nine men shuddered as if they were sent into a snowstorm in the second month of snow. However despite their small inkling of fear they stood their ground patiently awaiting orders.
"Well then snacks, wake up that ignorant appitizer from his day dreams and let's get started." The boy said such confusing words that everyone just stood there not knowing how to react. The men in white started chanting some unknown words as if to prepare for any movements, but the child just stood there gazing at their actions with the same warm smile on his face.
~ P.O.V. of Engil ~
I have been on the run for several months now with no second of rest. I had ran away from the Lands of Sorcery in the hopes of getting away from their corrupt system. Although I was treated like a traitor and chased after, it was normally only one or two soldiers who I could easily kill or escape from. Then all of a sudden I am now being chased by squad after squad of highly trained elites. Even with my strength I could only get rid of a couple before hitting my limit, and to make matters worse when I was tired and wasn't paying attention they ambushed me forcing me to use skills with high amounts a recoil damage. This caused my my current situation of having to run away from such weaklings and being forced to bow my head to someone else. Well to be truthful I'd rather live as a coward than die an unjust death. However I can't help it if I feel nervous about putting my life in the hands of a young child.

Staring at the child in front of me after saying those outrageous comments I nervously look towards my pursuers. Exhaling a small breath, as they look quite unnerved as well, I start to look for a way out of the situation if the boy can't handle them.
STAB!
Hearing a noise I come out of my thoughts to see the boy sticking his hand through the chest of one of the men in white. The man had a look as if he hadn't even seen the boy move and just now realized that a small hand was inserted in his chest. The boy still had the same smile stuck to his face as he slowly pulled his bloodstained hand from the man's chest. Not taking a second to think or say anything the men in white each held out their right hands each with a glowing symbol on the palm.
"Shatter." A baritone voice that seemed to shake the ground filled everyone's ears and all the sounds around them disappeared into thin air.
CrrrAAaacccCKkkkK
The presence of sound once again assulted everyone as the men in white realized that their glowing symbols were no longer there along with their right arms! All that remained was a bloody stump on each of them. Commander Hesso realized as he looked at his stump that they weren't facing a child, but something more along the lines of a monster. Some of his men started to scream in agony at the pain of losing an appendage finally hit them. Hesso wasn't fairing any better as the fear that he so easily forgotten earlier resurfaced and as he was about to open his mouth and admit surrender, the child started the slaughter.
STAB! STAB!STABSTABSTAB! STAB!
The constant sound of rending flesh nailed itself into the mind of the commander as he kneeled down defeated with his one intact arm hanging by his side. The screams of his underlings further emphasized his lack of judgment and inevitable demise. The boy strolled up in front of the defeated commander as if he way taking a stroll in the park he appeared as if he didn't just commit mass murder. Then the boy unhesitatingly thrusted his small blood stained hand into the chest of commander Hesso and watched as the life drained from his eyes.
Just looking at the spectacle before me i was dumbfounded. A young boy who appears to be no older than 7-8 slaughtered an elite group of highly trained sorcerers. I guess I've seen it all. I'm suppose to be a servant to this demon. I laughed inwardly about that fact. I then organized my thoughts and looked at the boy in a new light.
"Servant, I woke up not too long ago, so I'm kinda hungry find me something to eat. Oh and call me Roen, no, master Roen, yea that sounds better."
