Hey guys, Mono here o/

This is where I'll be posting anything related to my story that doesn't actually belong into it. Similar to a huge glossary as well. I'll post about my progress and at what stage I'm at so u r not left in the dark.

I will also be posting a map of NPO and similar useful goodies in the future so look forward to it!

For now I will sticky this thread and update it accordingly!

Map Description:

1. Settlement – Settlement for Humans and Angels. Its a beachy area with little greenery until the central mountainrange

2. The Horde – Lycans live in this region.

Flat terrain, forested steppe, rocky areas with wild untouched nature

3. The Elven Woods – Home to the Elfs

Jungle-like woods with breathtaking beauty cover most of their territory

4. Asylum – Devils have settled down here after their escape from hell

A intimidating forest as well as a rocky mountain range with many caves and dark corners.

5. Neutral Zone – Common ground of the settlers and lycans, Elfs. Devils get hunted a lot in this region. Many areas are still unexplored.

6. Frontline – Unexplored area that travelers only recently set foot into. The Cyclops’ Hideout can be found in this area.

Capitals:

Settler’s Capital Faren: Humans and Angels have decided to build their capital at the beach where they first landed.

The Horde’s Capital Dengalen: Lycans are generally wanderers by nature, but have decided to build a capital deep in the woods where it’d be save for them to raise their offspring in safety, protected by the community.

Tree-top Capital of the Elven Woods: The Queen of the Elfs has lived here for centuries, living inside ancient trees or groves, natural palaces and houses formed over the years, as if to accept their presence in the forest. The Elfs decided to settle in this place, their biggest settlement being the tree-top city in the heart of their territory.

Firchten: The Devils fled hell chaotically, but still have managed to gather together and build their first city within the Caves of the barely explored mountains out of stone. They say screams can be heard throughout the caves regularly, leaving travelers petrified.

Antwerpen: A newly built capital close to the borders of the 3 races’ territories. Acting as the base for adventurers in a largely unexplored area, Antwerpen is a prospering city for trade and lively with people.

Only capitals are shown on the world map! Other towns and settlements have to be found through exploration by adventurers themselves!

Information to ‘Explorable Area’: Natural boundaries that can’t be surpassed by current means exist here. (Area largens as events of the main storyline in NPO progress. Example: King orders NPCs and players to build a bridge across a huge uncross-able river after the famine is over or similar)

Angel

Affinities: Light, Air

Racial Skill Name: Fly

Skill Description: Sprout white wings from your back to soar through the sky. Stamina consumption is increased by 100% while in use. Stamina consumption decreases as skill mastery increases. Cannot be used when out of stamina. Must learn to use wings before usage.

Skill name: Feel Holy Element

Skill Description: As creatures of god Angels are born with the ability to feel the Holy Element needed to learn Healing

magic. Requires concentration and meditation to use.

Racial Characteristics: Pure creatures with white wings sprouting from their back. They often have a childlike appearance and live on clouds. Otherwise they can’t be told apart from humans

Racial buffs: Skill effects +80% during sunny days.

+40% effect of Holy/Light magic.

Speed while flying +20% (increases as skill lvl increases)

Buffs do not apply when the sky is overclouded completely!

Racial Weaknesses: Penalty buffs do not apply on holy ground!

Darkness/Chaos spell effect -90%

Destructive magic effect -40%

Can only utilize 20% of their power during the night

Agi -50% at night

Can’t use cursed objects

Devil

Affinities: Darkness, Destruction, Chaos

Racial Skill Name: Fly

Skill Description: Sprout black/leathery wings from your back to soar through the sky. Stamina consumption is increased by 100% while in use. Stamina consumption decreases as skill mastery increases. Cannot be used when out of stamina. Must learn to use wings before usage.

Skill Name: Life Absorption

Skill Description: Restore your own health by drinking the targets' blood. Must bite the target. Target cannot be a monster. Cannot be used if Satiety is full.

Racial Characteristics: A cunning race of evil creatures that escaped from hell. They assumed humanlike forms and live apart from other races as renegades. Can’t completely hide their true forms, so they sometimes have horns/black wings or tails befitting of devils.

Racial buffs: Do not apply on Holy Ground

- All stats/skill effects +80% during the night

- Agility +100% in the air

- Senses sharpened by 50%

- Night vision.

- Effect of Spells of Darkness +100%

Racial Weaknesses: - After 30 minutes of direct exposure to the sun your skin will start getting

burned heavily. Will die 15 minutes later if you don’t move out of the sun.

- Heavy burns inflicted holy objects. May kill you in an overdose.

- All stats/skill effects -50% during the day(-20% only on overclouded days)

Elf

Affinity: Light, Water, Nature

Racial Skill Name: Meditate

Skill Description: Rest your soul by synchronizing your spirit with nature, restoring your health completely. Must concentrate to use. Stunned for 50 seconds if concentration is interrupted during usage. Cast time: 2 minutes

Skill Name: With the Wind

Skill Description: Feel the flow of the wind around you and make use of it to increase your movement speed by 10%. Since you are moving with the wind the noise you make while moving will decrease by 5%. Skill effect will increase as skill mastery progresses. Skill can’t be used if you move directly against the flow of wind.

Racial Characteristics: A race of the forest with radiant grace and beauty, living in harmony with nature and its inhabitants. They have pointy ears as proof of their ancestors.

Racial buffs: speed in green zones +30%

sensetivity to enemies +50%,

AGI +50

Stamina +60%

Accuracy +40%

Automatically born with Charisma stat.

Racial Weaknesses: Spells of Destruction -90% efficiency

Effect of Destruction magic on Elfs +60%

Lycan

Affinity: Earth, Nature, Darkness

Racial Skill Name: Howl

Description: Let out a terrifying Howl/Roar, increasing the Morale of allies by 80% for 5 minutes while intimidating the enemy! Enemies with 10 lvls above the character or below -30% morale. Slight chance to cure weak movement speed debuffs from allies. Skill effect will increase as mastery progresses.

Skill Name: High Jump

Description: Jump 2 metres into the air using your animal traits to the fullest. You will have to wait 15 minutes for your body to recover after using this skill. Cooldown time will decrease/skill effect will increase as mastery progresses.

Racial Characteristics: A hybrid race between humans and animals. They often live in forests and live secluded from humans. A wild and charismatic race. Their appearances differ depending on their ancestors’ race as well as the density of animal blood so they often have a human body with only some parts resembling animals. Like additional limbs or different ears, etc.

Racial Buffs: Illness resistance +60%

Night vision

Speed in Forests/free nature +30%

Sensitivity to enemies/Perception +50

Born with Leadership stat, Leadership +30%

Efficiency +50% during a full moon

Racial Weaknesses: -50% WIS

Fire/Burn resistance -70%

Get horrible burns from silver, might kill them if contact lasts too long or large amount

Perception -30% during sunny days

Efficiency -80% during a new moon

Human

Affinity: Technology/mechanics

Racial Skill Name: Study

Description: Passive skill. Makes it easier to learn skill books or languages. Also increases ability to understand problems and speed of research. Requirements for Skill books -20%, Reading speed +30%. Skill effect will increase as the mastery of the skill progresses.

Skill Name: Ride

Description: Ride an animal to move faster. Small type animals can’t be mounted. Some animals require a higher riding skill to mount. Can’t be used on monsters. If piercing type attacks are executed on a moving mount, depending on speed and accuracy, the damage of the attack will increase by up to 100%.

Must acquire the animal’s trust first.

Racial characteristics: Originally a weak race humans have gained power through their natural craftiness and

adaptability. What they lack in strength they make up with cunning. Often live crowded together

in towns or cities.

Racial buffs: WIS +80%

Born with Handicraft skill (increases accuracy, able to learn crafts faster)

Born with Charm Animal Skill (can gain an animal’s trust)

Racial weaknesses: Unable to fight in absolute darkness, since they don’t have night vision. This

weakness can be discarded if other senses are sharpened.

Curse resistance -30%
