Back in game
Alone again Zayvin pondered about what had just happened.
She had received a few rewards from someone from Furan due to her achievements in game. This person had also invited her to a party.
Should she go? Did she want to go?
Actually she did. She really did. She hadn’t had a chance to meet new people for a long time and she smiled happily just thinking about it. She forced herself to forget the fact he touched her chest though. But anyhow…
Would she be able to go? Her condition had been stable for a while, but would they allow it?
“No use worrying about it now… I’ll just ask them when I fade out…” She muttered quietly.
Then she remembered the rewards she got earlier. She hadn't even taken a closer look at her new staff. Quickly she took it out. She looked at the sleek dark material curiously and then simply said.
“Identify!”
Ding!

Zayvin simply stared at the description for a while. Her Infamy was pretty high since she had clashed and killed a lot of players and NPCs, so he could easily use the staff.
What left her at a loss were the options it gave. Especially the extra skill!

She had gotten a lot stronger just by switching to this weapon.
Happily she jumped around and swung the staff. She really couldn’t complain about the rewards she got. And she hadn’t even identified the normal drops from the dungeon!
“Mistress, is everything alright?”
A worried voice resounded within her head. Her companions outside had noticed the others disappear and were worried that something had happened.
She quickly composed herself and send a telepathic reply.
“Yes, I re-sealed everyone because it got too dangerous. Don’t worry. I will come back outside now.”
“Good… in that case shall we search for some materials for their bodies?”
“Please do, I should be outside in 2 d-“, she hesitated.
She had gotten the teleport skill earlier. Should she use it and meet up with her companions close to Firchten? She had a few pure crystal shards to use after all.
“Mistress?”
“Ah, sorry. Could you guys head back towards Firchten? I learned a new skill and would like to try it.”
“Of course, as you wish.”
“Please take any useful materials you find with you if possible.”
“Certainly. The others also wish you a safe journey.”
“Aww, thank you!”
Zayvin had gotten used to the company of her demons and didn’t have any trouble talking to them at all. Perhaps because of their connection. Other than with them, she was very bad at holding conversations as one might have noticed.
She sighed quietly and held her staff vertically in her hands.
Since she just got the skill she wasn’t able to use it manually and had to rely on the system to use it for her. She hated the feeling when the system assist took over her body to use a skill, which is why she preferred learning skills from experiments rather than automatically.
But in this case it couldn’t be helped.
But before that… she looked down at herself. Her gear was too conspicuous at the moment. So she decided to simply wear her old robes. She opened her inventory with a flick of her wrist and dequipped all of her clothes except for a simple black sleeveless undershirt and fitting short schoolgirl skirt. Then she equipped the Apprentice Mage robe with a simple white color. Honestly, it nearly looked like a doctor’s coat, just without buttons and with a hood attached. This outfit is what she called her casual clothes.

“Teleport – Firchten!”, she shouted.
The system then took over her body. She surrounded herself with magic. In fact so much magic it covered the space around her in a red aura. Then the magic shot back towards her, compressing her body into a ball of red light.
The feeling wasn’t pleasant.
The ball then shot up through the ceiling and into the sky towards her destination.
The whole journey happened so fast that Zayvin didn’t even have time to analyze what had happened before she found herself in the central plaza of Firchten, the Capital of her race.
When she turned back into her usual form, she felt dizzy and disoriented. Her senses weren’t working correctly at all!
Promptly she lost her balance as she felt the ground under her feet again and fell onto her behind with an undignified ‘thud’. At some point she had also let go of her staff, causing it to vanish back into her body.
Somehow she had landed on something soft. She was certain the ground in Firchten was cut out of stone… so what…?
Slowly the world stopped spinning around her and she could clearly perceive what was going on around her.
Confused Zayvin looked around to see various Devils staring at her with open mouths, flabbergasted.
“Ah…!”, she should have thought of that. Of course people would see her use the skill!! She was such an idiot.
The ground she was sitting on suddenly twitched and she could hear something groaning.
Reflexively she looked down.
“Wa-!”, she let out a stupid sound. ‘AGAIN???’
Apparently she hadnt landed on the ground… She had landed on a person.
It was a male devil wearing simple white clothes. A shirt and a pair of pants, the starting gear of players of their race. He looked to be about 17 or 18, had pale skin and red hair that was kept pretty short, only partly covering his pointy ears. Two small black horns were growing out of his temples. He looked to be from Asia, if she had to describe his face.
Stunned speechless, Zayvin simply stared at him for a moment, before he opened his eyes.
“Ugh…” Confused the devil looked up at her.
“Nice view…”, he simply said. “I’m honoured and all, but could you please get off?”
“Huh?” Zayvin looked down on herself. One of her arms had slipped out of her robe and it was now hanging from her left shoulder. Her sleeveless shirt and skirt also slipped out of place, revealing part of her underwear.
“KYA!” With an embarrassed scream Zayvin scrambled off the guy and quickly fixed her clothing.
In the meantime the devil had sat up and was now holding his painfully throbbing head.
“Uh…!” Too embarrassed to say anything, Zayvin quickly walked back towards him. The guy flinched back, as if expecting her to jump him again or something.
“S-sorry…” Seeing his reaction she quickly apologized and cast some regeneration magic on him. Then she offered him her hand. The onlookers had now regained their composure and were giggling or whispering openly.
“I-It doesn’t hurt anymore… right?” she asked quickly, still blushing deeply. Honestly, she simply wanted to run away, but that wouldn’t be nice towards the guy she fell on.
He stared at her hand as if it would bite him any moment, but then he carefully took it and let her help him up. Then he noticed the pain was indeed gone and stared down at her curiously.
He was a lot taller than her, even though his height was average at 175 cm. Zayvin herself was 158 cm, she hadn’t bothered changing it when she created her character.
“Yea… thanks.”
“N-no… I’m sorry… that is… I didn’t think… I’d land on someone…”, she hurriedly explained.
“Ah, don’t worry about it…”, he looked at her curiously now.
Honestly, he had expected to be hit instead of helped… after all he had seen her like that. Not that it was his fault, but in his experience women didn’t often make sense, so…
As if reading his thoughts at that moment a girl that had been stunned until now dashed out of the crowd and skillfully kneed him into his face, sending him flying back to the floor.

The Limits of Limitless
Author's Note: So, new author here, nice to meet you from this lovely one sided conversation lol. I was so tired of waiting for the perfect story for me so I decided to write a few of my own. These are basically just to make me happy, but if you enjoy them too that would make me happy as well lol. ______________________________________________________________________________________ So once upon a time, there was a convienent, and slightly cliche, plot device used by a somewhat lazy author.... Which in turn, created an easily made story of how a lucky high schooler posing as a hardcore gamer dies only to resurrect in a fantasy reality, meeting beautiful women, powerful dragons and ancient beings, an assortment of insanely escentric fellows, and a certain over powered ring. Journey with them as they explore the wilderness of twisted imagination. Or for you old timey folk who like their synopsis a bit tame, here you go: Jason, a senor in highschool, is slowly failing school due to not giving a fuck. Like many people now in the year 3056, he is obsessed with the wonderful invention most lovingly called, 'True Virtual Realities'. now by using his obsession with his favorite Virtual Reality game called 'Reality Controlled', which is the first and so called best Virtual Reality ever made. it was basically the all around escape humanity wished for, and he with heaven defying luck came across one of the three cheat items the game developers left for themselves: The Limitless Ring. The ring was a support type item and had the ability to grant wishes, store worlds, clone items, grant skills and easily learn abilities. But those are just a few of the things it could do. Using the ring he successfully became the "best player" and had a herd of fans following him everywhere. It was a dream come true. Until, he was killed from a power surge that fried his brain which was hooked up to the Nerve Capsule, an unsafe prototype of the Dive gear that he bought do to low funds. The end. Or so you would think.... ______________________________________________________________________________________ Author's Note: I was, to be honest, wanting to do a collab, because to me it is sooooooo incredibly boring to write by yourself since you always know what happens next, however no one enjoys a bit of friendly cooperation *sigh* so I'm forced to journey these roads alone.... 'Tis but a sad fate tha' 'is here young'un has t' bear. The cover isn't mine, all rights and stuff goes to its artist and such.

Ancient Mana Dungeon Core.
Yes the tags are necessary, they will make sense eventually too. Art is not mine, found it on pintrest btw the title on the thing apparently has no name, or at least no title that you can search, at least, but i found this: ‘ArtStation - [UE4] Lost Temple Ruins Jonas Axelsson’ (if your curious I was searching ancient temple game art when i found it don’t bother clicking the link on the thing that says facebook, it does not work) (i will not lie this is kinda my first publication so go easy on me). A while ago I fell in love with the Dungeon Core stories and decided: ‘Heck, why not make my own spin on things!’ and so i started brainstorming what to do and i kinda just found the idea for the story during it. This is the story of a guy named Michael Alex (not a typo that is the name I will be using for him) he was an avid fiction writer and reader who was just sitting on his couch playing a puzzle game on his phone called: Ruins of Drailmor Keep (a three in one deal: tower defence, Puzzle (mazes generally), and world building (namely building on the ashes of fallen empires and regulating certain things while the waves of enemies keeps coming back to burn it down and ruin it just like the curse would while ocasionally sending out your own monsters to get rare rescources)) when he gets an alert and well one thing leads to another and he died to a freak avalanche. He then comes into contact with the universe's will (basically something that *insert your prefered deity here* cooperated with to make the world (heaven, hell, the mortal world, yggdrasil, basically every "world" that has been made (in reality, mythology, games, books, cartoons/movies, and memes!) but also had a mind of its own at the same talk.) and Michael and the Universe’s Will talked and this story is about the outcome of said discussion.

Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
