《World Game》The next mission

Sam woke up at 9 am feeling refreshed. He went out to fetch Bobo and show him the city.
The Blacksmith Arthur had already opened a shop in the business street. He was the only blacksmith what made him get a lot of requests.
A medicine store and a tailor had opened buisness as well. The city slowly started to awaken again.
A few street stalls were selling skewers, fruits and vegetables. After a few hours of showing Bobo everything they returned to the gate.
"Thank you for the tour 'King Sam' Hahahaha, but I need to return now. I'm afraid Ivan tries to attack us!" Bobo said in front of the gate.
" I understand that, if it is okay I would like to send Kain with you. He can contact me via teamchat if something happens on your side, this way we can send immediate reinforcements." Sam had spoken with Kain beforehand, telling him his plan.
Bobo accepted. He was grateful he didn't have to travel alone. The two of them left afterwards. Sam went back to visit Arthur.
"Hey Arthur how is it going? You look quite busy."
" Good that you are here. I have to tell you, I'm unable to complete all the orders in time! I am a former village blacksmith, I don't really have experience in forging weapons. All the weapons I forged until now are beginner class weapons! I could take an apprentice but it will take a long time to teach him only the basics. We need to find a solution, I am more suited for making small things the workers and farmers need."
" I understand. I will find a way to solve that problem. I want to go out for a bit, do you have a simple shield I could lend? The tower shield got wrecked in the last fight."
Arthur gave him a round steel shield, which Sam gratefully accepted.
He left the city afterwards. He went alone because he wanted to test the power of his new skill.
He walked in the direction of Woodchester looking for enemies to kill. A small group of four zombies were the first monsters he met. They were rotting badly. Maggots could be seen all over their bodies, many areas already showed the bones between the decaying flesh.

Sam felt nauseous but steeled himself and charged at the group consisting of Level 6 zombies.
It took him only a few moments to smash their heads.
" I need some stronger enemies to test my strength!" Sam said to himself.
He continued until he reached Woodchester. It was totally empty, not even zombies were roaming the streets. Sam looked into a few buildings but found nothing useful. He decided to visit Oakhausen.
When he got near the village he spotted an orc scout. Sam hid inside a bush, breaking a branch on purpose to lure the scout over.
The orc readied his spear and walked towards the bushes while observing the surroundings. When he was two meters away from him, Sam jumped forward and attacked the orc.
The orc reacted quickly and crossed the spear in front of its chest. Sam slammed his spiked shield forwards trying to stab the enemies heart.
The spear shattered in the next moment and Sam successfully killed the scout with ease.
' Ok, this proves that my attack really improves with the skill. I didn't even use my full power!
That means I can use my accumulated stat points for defense, health and stamina. I can use a few points for speed as well and won't need to increase my attack for now!'
Sam had allocated a few points into attack before his fight against the Level 10 boss. After he had examined the strength of his new skill he decided to ignore his attack stat for a while and spend the accumulated 18 points into other stats.
' Let me think. My class needs way more health and defense, six points into defense and five points into health. Leaves me with seven points...three into speed, three into stamina and one point into accuracy, I am quite curious about this stat.'
' stat points allocated' the familiar message appeared.
Sam felt much better after boosting his stats and decided to scout out the situation at Oakhausen. He found a small hill, which he climbed up. The situation inside the walls could be seen from the top.
Around 15 orcs were inside Oakhausen but they looked different compared to the last ones Sam had seen. They wore some pieces of steel armor each and held steel swords or longbows.

'They have some good equipment, I bet their leader is a boss monster. I should return to Blackstone and organize a squad to exterminate these orcs.' Sam knew he wouldn't be able to kill these orcs all on his own, besides he wanted to let someone else reach Level 10 when a boss monster really was their leader.
Sam returned immediately arriving in Blackstone city at 2 pm. He called a meeting for all the high leveled players and NPC's asking them for their Levels.
It turned out all the members of 'Nightwatch' had already reached Level 7 thanks to the shared experience, while a lot of NPC's were at Level 5.
Jack said " Most of us fought several times in the last days. There are usually a few groups of zombies or goblins attacking Blackstone city. Our archers are leveling really well. We would probably have more people on Level 5 if we had found more bosses."
" I tried to train the mage apprentices but couldn't do it. I miss something to teach them a spell. I would like to spend my time fighting and building up experience at this rate. Maybe we can find somebody who can teach mages in the future." Linda spoke truthfully.
Sam nodded, thinking ' This will most likely be fixed in the next patch. We have to get our hands on a magic teacher, having a group of mages defend this city would be very reassuring!'
He said " I took a look at Oakhausen before I came back, it is used by a group of orcs as a base. They look different from the orcs we fought before. They wear good armor and weapons and I'm sure that the one who leads them is a Level 10 boss! I want to exterminate them and hopefully give one of you the chance to reach Level 10.
I saw around 15 orcs but there might be more inside the buildings. I want to go early tomorrow morning, who wants to join? We need at least five people."
Anna lifted her hand " I and Nina will join you!"
Linda joined as well.
Sam looked at the others waiting for another person to join. The Level 5 people looked uncomfortable joining a mission against good equipped orcs. Nissa and Jack whispered a few moments before Jack spoke up.
" I will come with you too. Nissa will stay here and take care of the defenses."
Sam nodded in agreement. A lot of strong fighters would leave tomorrow, he felt reassured knowing Nissa handled the defense of Blackstone.
" Ok then it is decided. We will meet up in front of the north gate at 4 am tomorrow morning. Go to sleep early and check your equipment!" Sam ended the meeting.
After the others had left Sam walked inside the throne room. He looked at the big black throne. Even though he had been king for a while he never sat on the throne, so Sam approached it and sat down. The stone was hard and cold but Sam felt comfortable sitting on it.
He thought about the upcoming patch and what to do next.
' I hope we can get more citizens. If we can clear Oakhausen tomorrow I would like to resettle it and Woodchester therefore increasing our realm. With the people we have right now we would divide our forces too much. With monsters like Ivan in the vicinity I am afraid they might attack and capture our settlements one at a time.
We need another Level 10 player to stabilize our position!
I will focus on the mission tomorrow first. The problem with Ivan and his group comes afterwards. How will the patch affect this whole situation?'
Sam kept pondering during his bath and dinner until he fell asleep in his king size bed.
