《My Girlfriend: Death》Update #2

Hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it? Roughly two months since my last upload. Oh man, oh man, where do I even begin? I suppose from the beginning.

As some of you may know or not know, this year marked an important turning point in my life. I graduated from high school and I am moving onto college. The first of my family to boot. With summer ahead of me, you would expect me to have plenty of time to involve myself in writing. And at first I believed so too.

Originally when I announce the break it was to allow me some breathing room. Some R&R, going out with friends, beaches, trips, etc... From there I would get to cracking with writing. Unfortunately, nothing is ever that simple. Moving from high school to college isn’t as simple as one would think. For a good month or so, I devoted my time and effort elsewhere. After that was done, other trouble awaited me. By the time I had taken care of everything, I was simply exhausted.

I started writing nearing the end of my senior year just to kill some time. I never fully intended to continue after the first one shot. Through circumstances, your support, and my nagging boredom, I did continue on. And let me say, during the month I was active, I was elated. Coming up with fun new story element, creating funny scenarios to work into the story, and reading your comments.

With everything that is happening to me, I can’t see myself continuing forward with the series. There are times were I received spurts of energy and ideas. But they never last for too long and I find myself struggling to write. Even more so when I’m forcing myself to write. I’m simply not having fun. And if I’m not having fun writing, I know for a fact that the readers aren’t either.

To sum it all up, I will not continue this series. For some this will be a disappointment. For others, this is a mere inconvenience. There are literally millions of work out there to replace my own.

The purpose of me writing this is to tell you, the reader that I am not continuing it. I’m sure we all experience that feeling where you’re constantly waiting and waiting for your favorite fic on RRL to update. But the author hasn’t been on for several months. Those are the worst. I at least want to bring an end without simply ‘disappearing.’

*Phew* This dragged on longer than I wanted. With everything said and done, this is goodbye.
