After one hour has passed, the young white tiger finally woke up. With a little strength that finally return to its body, it tried to lift its body and standing. Some of its wound was already healed. Looks like a divine beast have a really good regeneration power, but Acma’s treatment earlier also contributed in saving its life.
Watching the painful scenery in front of him, Acma also standing up and said softly to the young tiger, “Easy, easy. Your wounds have not healed yet. You shouldn’t force yourself to stand up”.
Like it could understand his voice, the young tiger slowly lying down again as its eyes keep watching Acma. Acma kneeled on one leg and carefully checked its wound to make sure none was reopened. Satisfied with his examination, Acma stands up and turn his head towards the direction of Silent Trail.
“Alright big guy, hmmmm… that sounds weird. What should I call you” “Aha, lets call you Byakko. Alright Byakko, we should part here. I still have something to do across the mountains and I believe you have something to do too right? Guardian of the West, that’s really a cool job”
“Good bye Byakko”, Acma took a step back, waived his hand and then turned his body towards the Silent Trail. The young tiger tried to stand up and follow but only to get a smack on its head. So it obediently sits down and stares at Acma’s back. It gave a sad growl but Acma ignored it.
Not long after Acma left, the body of that young tiger slowly turned into a ball of golden light an then flew to the west. At the spot where it was laying before, there was a lot of thread which was used by Acma to fix its wound.
From where his currently walking, Acma could see the opening between the mountains. That opening was where the previously Silent Trail started. Looking at the opening, he could sense that everything has probably changed. The mountains were bigger and the opening was wider. In his heart, he secretly wished that he won’t face any danger along the trail later.

He walked leisurely towards the opening and thinking about his previous battle. He really admired the tenacity of that alpha, guiding its pack to battle with him. However, because he was stronger, he finally prevailed against them.
“Let’s see what I’ve got from the battle earlier”, Acma said as he opened his inventory. He quickly scanned the contents, searching for any new addition. He got several parts of wolf like meat, pelt and fang. There also several green mana core in addition to an upgrading items.
“Nothing new this time”, he muttered slowly. But right before he closed the inventory, his eyes stumbled upon an item he never got before. As he looking at the item, his eyes were glittering with an excitement. It was a card with a size of a credit card.
“What is this card?” he thought. He quickly took it out and closed his inventory. The card was made of unknown metal. Its surface was very smooth and there was an image of a great wolf. At the bottom of the image, several information was written. A symbol of cyclone also could be seen at the upper right corner.
“Identify”
Great Wolf Alpha
Mana requirement : 500
Tier : 1
Owner : Acma Heart
Acma was looking at the card intensely with a frown brow. He clearly puzzled about the usage of the card because there is not enough information on the card.
“There must be some use of this card since there is a mana requirement. But how to use it? Maybe I need to chant a keyword like everything else”, he thought.
“Materialize”
‘…’
“Activate”
‘…’
“Hmmm, wrong again. Maybe summon”, “Summon”
‘…’
“Okay, that’s weird. Last chance”, “Summon: Great Wolf Alpha”. After he said it, the card was glowing brighter and brighter. Soon after, a ball of light flew from his hand to the ground in front of him. From the light, a Great Wolf Alpha materialized with the same look as the alpha he killed earlier.

“Whow, it’s actually a summon card. Cool, it’s really cool. Now I have a blue Great Wolf Alpha as my summon”, he said excitedly.
Ding ~
You have received a new title: The Grand Summoner.
You’re the first person among your peers to summon a beast. The title enable you to summon up to 12 beasts or monsters simultaneously.
STR+10 AGI+25 INT+30
“A grand summoner. Not bad”, said Acma smilingly. “I wonder how many beasts a common summoner can summon”.
Ding ~
A summon panel appeared in front of him. It contain several sections which is active summon, deck, item, upgrade and settings. It also gave a simple instruction of how to use the summon card. This was similar with an online card games that Acma used to play. So he was familiar with the settings.
Ding ~
You have learned Wind Blade skill
“What?” Acma almost shouted when he read that new notification. This information was a greater shocker than getting a new title. Acma was so excited and couldn’t wait to try. He took out his sword and facing a huge tree. He would experimented his new skill on that tree as a target.
“Wind Blade”
A beautiful arc of azure light formed as he swung his sword. The arc was about a meter and half in length. When the arc hit the tree, it left a deep imprint on it. The effect somehow below of what Acma had expected. What he expected was a trail of destruction left by his wind blade. But having a skill was far better than haven’t.
“The power of this skill was just average. Maybe I haven’t truly master this skill yet”, said Acma as he check the effect of wind blade on the tree.
He put his sword back into the inventory and then said;
“Open: Summon”
He only have a Great Wolf Alpha card on the deck so he placed it at the active summon section. After that, he checked the upgrade section. As he was expected, the various upgrading items in his inventory was an items to upgrade a summon card. Then he quickly checked the requirement to upgrade his great wolf. Unfortunately, the items needed were a higher quality items. It was a blue rank upgrading items and he have none of them.
As he start to feel despair, he carefully checked a settings section. Finally, he found what he was looking for, an option to merge various low level upgrading items into a higher rank items. Without further delay, he began the process of merging them and finally he had enough items to upgrade his great wolf from tier 1 to tier 3. Feeling accomplished, he closed the summon panel and look at his great wolf.
The great wolf look at Acma attentively like it was waiting for an order. Looking at that expression, Acma was feeling very good.
“Lets call you Silver”, he said as he pat its head. “Follow me, let’s go to Orca Village”.
Man and a beast slowly walked towards the Silent Trail.
You’ve entered Death Valley
“So, the name changed. No wonder it gave an ominous feeling. I have to be very careful trailing this valley”, Acma thought.

He took a deep breath and then start walking. He walked deeper inside the valley. However, not even 2 kilometers have passed, Acma was startled at the scenery in front of him.
It was a blood red mist completely covered the valley.

The Desecrator's Tomb - A Numbers Lit-aRPG
A man appears in a dungeon full of undead. He tries to leave. This is my attempt at writing a litrpg where the system is more formalized. This means that there will be a fair amount of min-maxing and we will hopefully be able to calculate the dps of every ability by the time I am done. Expect math. The main character will become a Drain Tank. This story uses an aRPG item and stat system. Oh and one last thing. Beware the penguins. update 1/8/22: I am trying to simulate things as faithfully as is reasonable. As of chapter 17 there are animated gifs depicting Chilly's life throughout encounters. update 1/11/22: Kreksyte drew me a cover! All hail our artist overlords! update 5/25/22: Going on hiatus for a bit. The second arc is complete. Will come back for the 3rd and final arc soon. update 7/15/22: ayy...I've returned. Starting the third and final arc. [was once a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

"Oh boy." Warning! - There is likely not enough tags I can put up for this novel so please take this frontal warning instead. I can promise you a great deal of horror, gore, chaos and pure edge, but also everything on the opposite site of the spectrum from side characters. To be blunt, the MC is not a good person, so unless you're interested in such a thing, I'd strongly advise you to not read Currant Choir.
