You have been transferred to the Realm of Void

This blue notification panel was the first thing he saw when he got transferred to this realm. After that panel faded away, he can only see a darkness around him.

“Why I’ve been transferred to this realm. Is this a beginner village? The notification earlier clearly state the beginner village”, Acma was confused with the latest notification.

He turn his head to look around, only to see nothing. He was floating inside an empty space, unable to determine which way was up or down, left or right. Let alone any object in his surrounding, he couldn’t even see his own hand. He began to wonder either he was transferred to the right place or not.

Since he was unable to determine the flow of time, he doesn’t know how long he have been here. He also start to worry about the event before he was transferred here. What if more giant centipedes coming into the storage? What if the black giant centipede massacred the entire miner goblin community? And lot of other possibilities.

While he was thinking, he heard someone talked something into his mind.

“What do you think about this place, it’s great right?”, said the voice.

Although he still puzzled about the origin of the voice, he could made a link between the voice and the realm. Most likely that the owner of the voice was the owner of the realm. So he calmed himself down and answered the question,

“It’s nothing here”, Acma said nonchalantly.

“What do you say? How come you can’t appreciate the greatness of this realm. I created this realm by myself you know”, the voice sounds a little angry with Acma’s answer.

Acma smiled wryly, “Sir, I didn’t mean to offend you, but I can’t appreciate the nothingness as something great. One more thing, before I can fully appreciate the greatness of your creation, at least let me know your name first”, he said.

“What a rude youngster. Next time before you asked this Great Void name, tell yours first. I won’t tell you my name unless you beg”, said Void.

“So, your name is Void”, Acma was amused with this Void. “I don’t have to introduce myself right. I think you already know who I am”.

“How… How do you know my great name? Hahahahaha … looks like I strike gold this time. A being that capable of mind reading”, said Void with a clearly more arrogant tone.

Acma started to doubt Void,“Urgh, this fellow is problematic. I should hurry to finish this beginner business and leave this place”. “O Great Void, may I know why you bring me here?” He asked. He doesn’t want to prolong a meaningless chit chat and go straight to the point.

“You really know how to call the great me. Alright, since you made me happy, I will narrate to you the history of my greatness. Do you know, since …” before Void manage to continue bragging, Acma cut it short, but with a polite tone,

“O Great Void, looking at this realm of yours, I can understand why you called yourself great. But truth to be told, I’m supposed to be transferred to a Beginner Village, not to this realm of yours. May I ask you again, why I’ve been transferred here instead of a Beginner Village?”

“Hey, rude youngster, if you interrupted my speech again, you will definitely suffer from my wrath. I can trapped you here and make you listen to my word eternally”, Void shouted angrily.

Ignoring the shout inside his mind, Acma asked another question, “How do I get to a beginner village. The great you should know the way, right?”.

Acma knew that what he was doing right now, asking a question after another, was definitely a bad move. But right now he was kind of a little annoyed with Void. He was rushing, he was trapped in the darkness and then suddenly a voice which he didn’t knew where it came from continued bragging about something he doesn’t care about.

“You really not interested to chat with me right”, said Void solemnly. “It’s alright, since you doesn’t want to hear, I will explain to you the reason why I brought you here”.

Suddenly Acma feel something wasn’t right because Void sound so sad right now.

“I want you to receive my blessing and become my emissary. That the reason I brought you here”, explained Void.

His heart jumped with an excitement because this was a great opportunity. But Acma still need more information before making any decision. Then he calmly said, “I see, being your emissary is like a class change too. Is there any benefit for me if I become your emissary?”

“You will be able to wield my element. Don’t you think being an Emissary of Void as awesome? You will become the strongest in the world if you play your card right”.

“Oh really, what is so great about void element. Isn’t all elements have their own greatness and weakness?” Acma asked.

“Looks like you don’t believe the great me. Let me say this, wait until you traverse the world and meet the other elements holder, only then you will know how great you’re”, said Void.

“Still didn’t answer my question, what so great about void element?”, Acma clearly not satisfied with the answer.

“What an impatient youngster. Haven’t you heard a saying, ‘Patience is virtue’. Hmmm… Alright, let the great me explain this to you.

When the world was created, there was 8 basic elements which working in harmony to maintain balance. These elements was water, fire, earth, wind, metal, light, dark and void. All creatures will have affinities with any of these elements in their bodies. Then, they can wield the power of these elements to survive in the world.

Each elements have their own strength and weakness. One element maybe have an advantage against a certain element, but weak against the other element.

Among these elements, there is one element that held the biggest advantage against the other elements because it can control space, which is void element. This great me believe that you already know that everything that was created was contained within a space, even the elements.

Although there should be an element that can control time, but as far as the great me know, no element can control time. This great me think, time is controlled personally by the creator.

These elements were controlled by a being like the great me, a Sovereign. Any creatures that get our blessing, may wield the power of the elements. We, the Sovereign will give our blessing at the moment the soul merging with the body.

When they reach a certain age and condition, their power will be awoken and they can start using the element. When they died, their accumulated power will return to us.

But you’re an exception because the great me is desperate right now, so the great me intercepted your transportation and brought you here.

Okay, let the great me continue. The number of power someone can wield depends on how many blessings they got. Most people only got one or two blessing only.

However, there is only one exception. Any creature which got my blessing, will be able to wield all other elements too, although not as strong as the original blessing. But enough to make the opponents running with tail between their legs.

This is the second greatness of void element. With this two advantage, you will be able to reach the summit of the world and conquer it”, explained Void in detail.

Hearing that explanation, Acma’s eyes was brimming with excitement. He was fond of great power because he was train to pursue it since he was young. If void element was as great as Void explained earlier, his quest to travel around the world would be much easier and enjoyable.

“Now, do you believe the great me. Will you accept my offer and become my emissary?" Void asked.

“Can’t you be a bit patient. I’m still pondering about something, you said that you’re capable of wielding the power of other elements, but why this realm of yours have nothing? Why you didn’t use light element to illuminate this place or other elements to fill this realm. This darkness is really suffocating”, Acma asked.

“…”,

No answer from Void for a while.

Acma wanted to urge him to talk, but decided not to.

“This is not just my realm, but also my prison”, Void finally gave his answer with a weak voice.

“Prison? How come a sovereign like you got prison in his own realm?” Void’s short answer left Acma with full of question. He knew from the explanation earlier, Void was supposed to be the strongest sovereign, so how come he was prisoned?

“When the creatures which got my great blessing became too domineering and conquering the world, the other sovereigns got envy and blamed the great me. Since they can’t beat the great me alone, they form an alliance and fight altogether and finally manage to imprison the great me here. It was supposed to be eternal, but it seem heaven haven’t abandon the great me when a crack appear on the seal today”, Void explained.

“No wonder when you start talking to me earlier, you sound so lonely. Will you able to leave this prison?” Acma asked.

“To leave here, the great me need a body but my great body already destroyed when I was sealed here. The great me that talking to you now is just my great soul. What a let down, although the great me get this golden opportunity to leave this prison, without a body or a vessel, the great me will be trapped here forever”, Void said with a sad voice.

“I feel sorry for you, Void. I wish I can help you to leave this place. but it seem I can’t”, Acma said sympathetically

“This great me only need a soulless body of an intelligent being, but the great me already used most my power to bring you here. So the great me was unable to search a suitable body to use. Haih, what can this great me do. Boy, you must reach the summit and let the great name of mine known all across the world again”, said Void.

“Soulless intelligent being body? Hmmm…”, Acma was thinking about what Void said and suddenly he got a revelation. His A.I., Alice was a soulless intelligent being, so it might be possible to become a vessel to contain Void’s soul.

“Hey Void, how about my Alice? She was an artificial intelligence. Although her body was that of high fairy, but I’m pretty sure she is soulless”. Acma asked.

“This great me never heard about artificial intelligence before, but the great me can try”, answered Void.

As soon as he finished saying that, the body of Alice floating out of Acma’s chest. She was sleeping. Then, a light start enveloping her body which Acma believe that Void was starting to merge with Alice.

The merging process last for almost 15 minutes. During the whole process, Acma locked his sight unto Alice, hoping that nothing would go wrong. Since his attention was occupied, Acma didn’t realize that his exoskeleton suit was undergone a transformation, indicating that the merging process was successful. However, Acma was oblivious about this transformation.

After the light was dimmed, Alice body floating back toward his chest and disappeared.

“Successful, the merging process was successful. Now I can see the world again. Boy, I wholeheartedly grateful for your assistance. Without your help this time, most likely I will never be able to leave this place”, said Void with an extremely joyful voice.

“Congratulations Void. Now you’ve got a body and able to leave this place, do you still want me to be your emissary?”.

“Yes, although I can finally see the world again, I still want you to be my emissary. As your reward, your armor will receive my finest blessing and I will give you several void element skill too. Unfortunately, my power was extremely limited right now, so I can’t reward you more than this”.

“It’s ok, lets start the process and leave this place”.
