《Dragon Ball: Terror of the Gods》Chapter 49

The sight of Gohan basically being tortured by Cell, as he refuses to unleash his strength. Zaraf only frowned as the boy was basically scared of his own shadow. Yes he is strong, and has immense potential, but only wasted if one fears and doubts himself.
The only saving grace, was Cell wasn’t running on a full tank of energy. Which would have come true if the senzu bean Goku tossed made it to Cell. Luckily, Zaraf destroyed it before Cell got it and shot daggers at Goku. Who was complaining about it being unfair.
“Goku, Cell is made of Saiyan, and other strong races DNA is he not.” Towa said after getting tired of moaning from him.
“Mmm, yeah.” Goku nodded after thinking about it.
“What happens when Saiyan heal from a fight?” Delia joined in.
“They get stronger.” Goku said not getting it was the rest of his group face palmed.
“So, Cell who has Saiyan Dna in him. What would happen if he heal from your fight just now.” Lyana asked him.
“He would grown stronger...Oh,” Goku chuckled as he finally got it.
“Idiot,” nearly all thought at once.
Watching Gohan get his face pounded into the ground quickly became old. For some reason he still didn’t want to unleash his strength as he grew closer to death.
“Goku, you have to save him.” Zaraf head Krillin yelling at Goku.
“Gohan, will be fine.” Goku nonchalant replied.
“Goku, Gohan not a fighter. The boy scared is scared to unleash his own power. Do you want to know what he is thinking right now. Why doesn’t his father come save him, he is a scared eleven year old boy.” Piccolo shouted.
“What,” Goku finally realized.
“It seems that training him was a waste of my time,” Zaraf said a bit angrily. The time he spent helping train the kid gone to waste, even if it was a few hours for a week.
However none of them moved to help the kid. If Gohan wanted to die, so be it he only has himself to blame. He has the power but refuses to use it to save himself is like demon lord giving up to the hero. Only the demon lord could kill the hero with a fingernail.
Also, it would hurt the pride of other martial artists to interfere in another fight. Unless it their disciple or there a very good reason. So most of the Z-fighters that came along didn’t move to help Gohan nor did Zaraf’s group.
Zaraf valued hard work as did most of his wives and Caulifla who recently joined them. Shaking his head, he just continued to watch as the fight unrival without care.

“Shall we save him?” Lily asked but really sounding concerned.
“If he doesn’t want to stand on his own, let him be.” Zaraf said.
“He dying out there.” Krillin shouted at them as he heard them talking.
“So, if he doesn’t want to use all his strength why should we use our strength to save him.” Zaraf countered.
Krillin just igorged them as he continued to worry about Gohan, bit could only watch. Most of the fighter are nowhere near the level of strength to even fight Cell. The most they could do was distract him at most and it would be a few seconds at most.
“How long is this going to last.” Zaraf mumbled as Cell was crushing Gohan by hugging him. When he was about to crush Gohan, he would lighten up and restart the crushing process.
“Maybe you need some motivation.” Cell suddenly said as his tail grew longer.
Seven small blue Cell appeared taking a portion of his strength. So, he only made enough to fight seven instead of fourteen. The blue insects began flying towards the Z-fighters and Zaraf.
Getting a small bit of Ki in his hand, Zaraf blasted the one coming close out of the sky effortlessly. The small bugs only had a power level hovering around half a billion. Which was strong for most, but an annoyance for him.
“Zaraf, why did you end the fun already.” Lily pouted.
“It was a bug, what else was I supposed to do with it?” Zaraf asked as they watched the Z-fighter struggling.
Goku who was out of strength kept getting hammered around while the others forced a stalemate. However it only turned out the blue cells are sadists. They were only playing around and soon dominated the fighters.
Gohan who was watching suddenly exploded in a ki as electric hovered around his body. His golden hair grew as did his temper. He effortless broke free from Cell and vanished in front of him.
Bang!
Pow!
Poof!
The small Cells were destroyed in a blink of an eye as Gohan got rid of them. It didn’t appear he broke a sweat as he passed around senzu beans.
“Impressive,” Zaraf commented but didn’t sound like he was praising.
“Is it enough to beat Cell?” Lily asked.
“It should be, but the boy lacks the guts to end the ambonation life.” Towa answered.
“So he one of those ‘all life is precious, no matter what they do’.” Delia asked.
“Most likely.” Lyana shook her head at this.
“Somethings just need to be ended, like the bug that keeps rattling on about being perfect.” Zaraf said as anything that absorbs other power shouldn’t exist.

The second round between Cell and Gohan with Cell being on the defensive this time.
“When is it going to be our turn?” Lily asked as she wanted to fight.
“If Gohan would stop messing around he could have ended the fight already.” Zaraf commented in agreement with the other girls.
“So, we came for nothing?” Lily was devastated as it has been awhile since she fought a worthy opponent.
The only ones that she could find were her sister wives and while they could push each other's limits. Their isn't life or death feeling to it as they would get against others.
“Well, all of us coming is kind of pointless.” Zaraf nodded to this.
“So moral support is what we are or just making up numbers.” Lyana coldly stated.
“Thinking about it now we been reduced to nothing but training and laying around.” Towa added.
“It not like we can do anything about it anytime soon.” Delia add rubbing her stomach.
“Well, if Zaraf works on completing his universe we can have plenty of adventure there.” Lily said making them all look at her weirdly. Thinking about it Zaraf never really remembers telling them or just forgetting about it.
“How far away are you?” Towa asked.
“Mmm, I am missing God Ki or Spark before I can progress. If I train and work hard for sevenish years. I should get the basics elements and laws for it. From there it just adding layers of planes, energy, life and death and so on.” Zaraf shrugged making it sound simpler than it really is.
“Are you even going to live long enough to do it?” Caulifla asked.
“Well, if you guys keep up with the training and we all hit the transcendent level. We should be fine as we won’t have lifespan though I already don’t think we did. I think the effects from Lyana and Delia universe carried over, but I rather not test it.” Zaraf said as they nodded while Caulifla looked confused.
While they were chatting Gohan managed to get Cell on the ropes and could beat him at any time. However, it seems he hasn’t managed to curve his saiyan pride or arrogance in this case.
Bang!
“Urg!” Cell yelled as a blonde haired girl appeared as his form unevolved.
“Well...that was interesting...in a gross way.” Caulifla said wanting to unsee that.
“True, but how is she still alive? From what we know she been absorbed over a week ago.” Lily hummed.
“I think the stronger the being the longer it takes for him to digest them.” Towa theorized.
“I wonder what Dna allows him to absorb others. As far as I am aware it might be Namekians but there shouldn’t be a delay like this.” Zaraf commented.
“Maybe it a conflict in his Dna. He is made from Dna from strong beings and all the strands shouldn’t work well together.” Towa said.
“That part is obvious since he is green, and looks like a bug.” Delia dryly commented.
Rolling their eyes, they watched as Cell began to freak out at his loss of power and his ‘perfection’. The sight of him expanding was soon met with panic as Gohan fell to his knees. Everyone who can sense Ki could tell that Cell was about to go boom.
Hmm, I should be able to Flame Step him to the moon. Zaraf thought as he could easily reach the moon.
Agreeing to it, he appeared next to Cell who began to panic at his sight before the two vanished.
“Have a nice trip.” Zaraf mouthed before vanishing and arrived back in the group. He was so fast barely anyone noticed him vanishing and reappearing.
Boom!
A giant fireball appeared in the sky as the news changed over from the fight to about the moon blowing up. All the fighters along with the reporter, cameraman and Mr. Satan and his disciple wondered what happened. One moment Cell was about to blow up the next he was gone with the moon.
“Is that it?” Lily asked bored as it really was pointless to come.
Zaraf could have appeared at any point in when Cell was about to blow up and transport him away. Now they wasted a day to watch a tournament which they never really got to participate in due to Cell blowing up the ring.
“I would assume so. He didn’t have anyone or thing to absorb this time around.” Zaraf said.
“Maybe we should just hold our own tournament.” Lily suggested.
“When shall we host it?” Zaraf asked.
“In about four years?” Towa suggested.
“Ok, it should be interesting if nothing else.” Zaraf said.
After telling the Z-fighter about the tournament idea, Zaraf and his gang of girls took off as they did the same. There wasn’t any reason to stay as Cel was dead and not coming back ending Cell short reign of fame.
